BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm an executive of Reserveertheorie, an online platform where customers can practice and study for the theory part of the driver’s license exam.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Enkonix?
Finding customer support agents was challenging, and it required a lot of work. As a result, we wanted to explore whether AI could help us improve our customer support.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We wanted to develop a system that could take the load off our customer support. Enkonix has helped us with this. We've provided them with the most common questions asked by our customers and what we would say in these situations. They've documented everything and done most of the work. I've only told them what we are doing and what challenges we have.
Enkonix has devised a good plan and concept to make the system as good as possible and our jobs as easy as possible. We've tested the system, and it has worked reliably. They've also provided clear documentation. Now, we’re discussing how to integrate it into our broader processes.
What is the team composition?
I spoke to a few of their teammates, and they contacted the right people within Enkonix to deliver what we need.
How did you come to work with Enkonix?
I heard a lot of good things from a friend who worked with them. They helped my friend improve their customer support with AI. As a result, I decided to contact Enkonix and see if they could help me with my customer relations. I like to go into business with people who have experience with this type of company. Because then I know that it's trustworthy, and I know I can count on them. The next thing would be Google and see the reviews of other companies or customers, but the first thing I do is ask my network and see if they have anyone they know that can help me out.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in April 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I've been impressed by how well the chatbot reflects our brand voice. It genuinely feel like an extension of our support team. The handoff between the bot and an agent has worked smoothly and in a timely manner, as we expected. We are really satisfied.
How did Enkonix perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication has been clear and fast. I find it refreshing that they've been professional throughout. The Enkonix team has also been proactive and open to feedback. They've been quick to adjust when needed.
For communication and project management, we've used Gmail, Telegram, and Google Meet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Enkonix has made the time to listen to what we need. They seem to understand, and they help me out with this. They've understood our needs very well and came up with a working AI chat prototype, and that has impressed the whole team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything they can improve on. I would say they should do better right now. I mean, I'm still working with them. So maybe in the future, there will be things, but right now, I'm really satisfied.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I recommend working with Enkonix if you’re exploring AI for customer support. Have a discussion with them, and you’ll immediately feel that they’re listening and taking the job seriously. The most important thing is the feeling, and it was right from the first moment.

A telecommunications company has hired Enkonix to migrate a legacy platform from Rackspace to AWS. They also help rewrite the site from scratch using serverless PostgreSQL and Lambda.
With Enkonix, the company's hosting costs have dropped by 80% despite the business growth. They have also expanded their offerings and recorded their best sales week in about three years. The team uses Jira, Slack, Confluence, Miro, and Figma to execute an effective workflow.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm an executive of a telecommunications company.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Enkonix, and what were your goals?
We hired Enkonix to overhaul a legacy platform. Our first goal was to port a legacy platform from a legacy hosting provider to AWS, which they handled expertly. Our goal was to drop our costs by moving to the serverless DB offerings from AWS. After some success with our migration project, our stretch goals were to rewrite our platform from scratch, which we ultimately did successfully.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
The project required experience with a legacy platform built on Django, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Redis. I wanted a vendor who had experience with a Python 2->3 migration and a vendor with suggestions on how to host the application in a more cost effective way. I selected a different vendor on clutch.co, and we set a start date for the project. That vendor pushed back our start date, and then ultimately apologized that he was unable to find the staff to take on the project.
At that point I restarted the search with similar search criteria and made early availability a top priority. I spoke with several vendors and I often needed to burn time getting non-technical salespeople to understand my technical needs. However, the first person at Enkonix I spoke to at length was the CTO and founder of Enkonix. I was rapidly able to determine that he was very well versed in exactly what we wanted to do.
They also committed to start immediately. After feeling a little burned waiting a couple of months for the previous vendor to commit to a start date, and then back out, I selected Enkonix and we started a very productive relationship.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The first phase of our project was migrating from Rackspace to AWS, which was long overdue. We had a very large Postgres database which was prohibitively expensive to run. The first big win with Enkonix was the migration to AWS where we implemented the Aurora serverless PostgreSQL service and slashed our hosting costs.
After we completed our migration project, we were really happy, and had dropped our hosting costs by 80% at the time. We made the call to do a complete rewrite of our platform from scratch, utilizing the vast array of microservices that define AWS, such as serverless PostgreSQL, and Lambda.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I have worked with approximately eight different people over the course of our project. The CTO oversaw our hosting migration and move to Aurora. They then assigned me a dedicated project manager who oversaw the rewrite project. I've dealt with designers, test engineers, and developers, all talented.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
I'm really pleased with Enkonix. We have expanded our product offerings significantly, and we've just had our best week of sales in about three years. Our hosting costs are less than half of what they used to be, despite growth. I speak frequently with Enkonix as we tweak and improve our sales funnel.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We typically had bi-weekly meetings on Zoom. Jira, Slack, Confluence, Miro, and Figma were the tools we used to communicate and design the project. Although I had access to Jira, I generally would produce confluence documentation which the project manager would compile into Jira tasks and delegate. They are timely, and they don't dally or point fingers when problems happen, they fix them.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I had access to the entire team. Being an engineer myself, I enjoy the ability to ask and be asked questions by their lead engineer during implementation. Communication is very efficient. There is something more to say about Enkonix. I never expected this to be part of a software development project. When I hired Enkonix around April of 2021, I was hiring Ukrainians that were soon to be attacked by Russia.
Before the invasion, I had meetings with the peaceful blue Kyiv skies in the background. We chatted about the massing of Russian troops at the border, and finally the attack came. Naturally, I was concerned about my colleagues and my project. Enkonix swiftly issued a continuity of business plan detailing their plans to mitigate the damage to their customer projects due to the Russian invasion.
Wow! Some of their engineers were able to relocate to nearby countries or safer western areas within Ukraine. My project manager was separated from his wife and child for several months while he lived with his parents in the village, and I yet think they missed only one or two meetings due to war related issues. They were so professional in the face of such terrible circumstances.
These stout freedom-loving Ukrainians dealt with blackouts by powering their routers and laptops with standard 5V powerbanks hacked to output 12VDC or whatever their router needed. They purchased fiberoptic internet plans where fiber ran to their apartment and continued to provide internet even during blackouts. I've had a few productive zoom calls where my project manager was having a blackout, yet the resilience of their DIY power and internet solution kept our zoom call going.
There was high speed internet and flashlights being used. Lastly, each dollar that we spend today feels as if it is a dollar that has been earmarked for freedom. Through the bombs, missles, and family separations, Enkonix has risen above the challenges that would crush ordinary people. Highly recommended!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I find them to be just the right fit for us. Great attitudes, smart and tough Ukrainians. I don't have a lot of complaints.

Stakeholders are happy with Enkonix’s work, citing their contribution to the business’ growth over the years. The team is highly responsive and communicative. More importantly, they serve as a true partner to the client. They’re highly involved and always think about the company’s future growth.

client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of a training center for people to get their driving license. We provide classes and online courses that people can follow to prepare themselves for the national driving license exams in the Netherlands.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Enkonix?
We hired Enkonix for their development services.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
In the beginning, Enkonix helped us work on our CRM system, where we did all of our administrative work and client contacts. Then, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we switched our focus to online courses. As a result, Enkonix built a platform where people could access the courses and watch videos about exam practices. Then, they integrated that platform into our landing page.
At present, we work with two of their teams, who help us plan development projects ahead.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with a team of about 12 people, including front- and backend developers and product managers. If we face new challenges, we can increase team members. If there’s no need for extra development resources, we can decrease the team.
How did you come to work with Enkonix?
Since IT services in the Netherlands cost much more than in other countries, we looked for a partner in countries like Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine. We tried out some companies and asked for demo projects. Enkonix was one of them, and they did what we asked. They were fast and communicated well, which gave them an advantage.
After that, they came to our head office, and we gave them a task assessment. The project itself was big, and we didn’t trust companies right away. We first wanted to see their capabilities before giving them the whole project. Then, they made a demo and immediately showed results. After that, we signed the paperwork and started working with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around €250,000 (approximately $300,000).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in August 2018, and the partnership is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Generally speaking, our business has grown between 20%–40% yearly, and it’s impossible to say whether Enkonix is entirely responsible for that. However, IT is an important part of our business, so the team definitely has an impact on our revenues in the long term.
In terms of work quality, Enkonix thinks beyond the job we give them. They don’t wait for an assignment; they try to understand our business, know our needs, and think as a true part of the company. Essentially, they’ve helped us improve our business by showing us how they run theirs. They also share their experience on the management level.
How did Enkonix perform from a project management standpoint?
Enkonix’s project management is great, and their communication is clear. When we launch big updates, their product manager assists us while providing information to our team. In other words, they’re highly involved and try to help in any way they can. That’s a great part of their work.
Moreover, we communicate with them in all possible ways. If we need to fix something right away, we call them via WhatsApp or Telegram. Normally, though, we plan meetings on Zoom, where we discuss our needs. On top of that, we can check what they’re doing on Trello and ClickUp. Overall, they’re truly transparent in their work. We can contact them directly, and they do their best to respond quickly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Enkonix’s involvement differentiates them from other providers; they always try to understand our product and think along with the company. They also create clean code, which allows us to go in all possible directions in the future. Simply put, they’re an essential partner for our growth.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. Our experience with them has been great, so I can’t think of anything they should improve. Nobody’s perfect, but they’ve worked perfectly for us so far in our engagement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Trust their capabilities. It’s always difficult to give a company a responsibility that’s as huge as our project. However, Enkonix hasn’t let me down. They’re a responsible company, and they know what they’re doing. As a result, I don’t see any reason for you not to get involved with them or hire them.

Enkonix developed a website for an education platform. They began the project by working on the UI/UX design. From there, they built the frontend, created a database, and connected it to the backend.
Enkonix delivered according to the client’s specifications, resulting in a successful engagement. They managed the project well, kept track of timelines, and delivered everything within schedule. They also communicated effectively with the client by scheduling calls to accommodate their schedule.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CTO of Janala, a startup that provides free education on various services. We’re creating an educational platform where people can access different kinds of educational content depending on their interests.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Enkonix?
We needed a company to develop the web platform from scratch. As a startup, it’s not our daytime job and we can’t invest all our time into the platform.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They built our web platform including the front- and backend and UI/UX, from scratch. In their proposal, they said they would start with the UI/UX design and then move toward the frontend development. While working on that, they coded and develop the entire look of the platform.
Then they moved onto the backend, which allows communication between the frontend and the database. They built everything from the database to how users interact with the website. The platform allows users to log in, watch videos, and share on social networks.
What is the team composition?
We primarily interacted with the project manager. Through him, we met several teams, including one UI/UX person, two frontend developers, and four backend developers.
How did you come to work with Enkonix?
I found them through Clutch. We had interviews with representatives from several companies, including Enkonix. They outlined a proposal that detailed the services they would provide a working plan. Then we accepted their proposal.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from December 2020–March 2021.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The project was very successful. We were very focused on results and how the project was progressing. They built according to our specifications.
How did Enkonix perform from a project management standpoint?
They budgeted their time well and delivered according to schedule.
This wasn’t my full-time job, so we had to work around my work schedule. On top of that, I live in Switzerland, they’re based in Poland, my advisor is in the US, so it was difficult to set a time that worked well for all of us.
To manage our time more effectively, we set a time and date for each meeting and used email to communicate regularly. We held a weekly meeting with the project manager on Zoom. He explained exactly what they had done each week by showing it live on the website.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were able to build quickly. We’ve had experiences with other teams who took a long time to complete their projects. Enkonix is very responsive and delivered in the timeframe they promised at the beginning.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They didn’t do anything that bothered me.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Hire them. Our experience was absolutely wonderful. They were able to deliver everything we needed based on the budget we had. Sometimes we asked for something extra and they told us exactly how much it would cost. I would recommend working with them.

A private education provider hired Enkonix to build a tool to help students understand their loan information. The platform, built with Python and Vue.js, calculates repayment amounts based on several factors.
The platform has impressed internal stakeholders with its functionality and ease of use. Throughout the engagement, Enkonix was a reliable partner, using their expertise to provide suggestions and advice to elevate the final product. Customers can expect a successful project.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Education Centre of Australia (ECA) is one of the leading private education providers with campuses in Australia and abroad. ECA has a number of university partnership in Australia and overseas and offers high quality education to both international and domestic students. ECA is renowned internationally for the quality of teaching, academic expertise and research integrity.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Enkonix?
Student loans is not always an easy concept to understand. Repayment amounts change based on the annual income and there are many factors that come into play. The tool we were creating would allow students to get a better idea of what repayments may look like per certain time periods depending on the income. Plus get additional information on how long it would take to repay the loan and what part of income would be spent on it.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, we briefed Enkonix, letting them know what our goals were. They converted the initial brief into a mockup. Once we were completely happy with the mockup, the team went into the implementation stage.
Once the platform went live, we were able to make changes and suggestions. We worked together throughout the iterations.
Enkonix team even made it possible for us to make changes from our side, so the final tool turned out to be very versatile.
What is the team composition?
Initially we had an in-depth discussion with Pavel and Artem, co-founders of the company. We then were assigned a very talented project manager, Andrey, whom we have been working with throughout the whole project.
We had another call with the founders after the completion of the project where we were able to share our feedback, obviously it was a very positive one. It is obvious to me that Enkonix is interested in what their clients think and they are committed to quality and maintaining excellent reputation.
How did you come to work with Enkonix?
Initially, we were planning to do a different project, and we reached out to Clutch to find a partner. We were put in contact with four agencies, including Enkonix. We had Zoom interviews with all 4 agencies plus a few more. While that main project was postponed due to external factors, we ended up working with Enkonix on a different project for ECA and its university partners.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together in November 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We are very happy with the outcome of this project. They’re a team we’d like to work with again for bigger projects in the future. The team is quite professional, and they always listen to what we intend to do. They’re constantly asking us questions, making suggestions, showcasing current results, making sure we are on the same page all the time. The team is very attentive, and their main concern is quality.
So, in my opinion, Enkonix team went an extra mile (or maybe several miles) to get the best results possible. The final tool turned out to be even better than I envisioned.
How did Enkonix perform from a project management standpoint?
Enkonix were great. We had no issues at all, and they were very quick at getting things done. We had meetings at certain intervals to talk about the project along the way.
We used a couple of tools during the implementation phase, including WhatsApp, Zoom, and Zeplin.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Enkonix was very attentive to our needs. They were also proactive, making suggestions for things that could make our project better. The team is super quick, and they’re a more affordable choice than several other options.
Our project manager was excellent — he’s a very professional person. We had no issues and were very satisfied. I would recommend Enkonix 100%.
Are there any areas they could improve?
When I initially checked their website, I thought it was a little bit old school and not reflecting fully what Enkonix is capable of. It's when we had a presentation over Zoom, we saw their real potential. However, they have updated their website recently. Other than that, I can hardly think of any issues.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Let Enkonix know as much as possible about the project. Share your thoughts, goals, and vision for the project and make sure you tell about what you want to achieve as a result, your end goals. It’s very likely they’ll be able to come up with some great and creative ideas to achieve these goals. Drive, passion and proactive approach is certainly something you can greatly benefit from.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder of Visualized.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Enkonix?
I had a concept for a product and needed a software development team to build it.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Enkonix built our platform from the ground up, so their services included design and development. Their team created the custom product, which delivers a service. It’s a virtual staging platform for real estate agents, brokers, and homeowners. Users upload photos of a space, and then we get it virtually staged for them. Right now, they’re testing the platform.
What is the team composition?
I work with a dedicated project manager who’s helpful. Also, the CEO periodically touches base with me to make sure the project’s going well.
How did you come to work with Enkonix?
Someone in my network recommended them. I talked to a bunch of development firms and developers, and only Enkonix offered a business perspective. Their team understood startups.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $20,000 on the project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began our relationship in May 2020, and the bulk of the work’s coming to a close. Once they hand everything over, I’ll keep the relationship open for product updates.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their service’s great. I appreciate how their CEO touches base to ensure that I’m happy. I’ve had other people review their code who’ve said that it looks really good.
How did Enkonix perform from a project management standpoint?
We use G Suite, and they use InVision for demos. Enkonix touches base weekly. Their team also documents the process to show how we’re moving toward our budget. They shared a spreadsheet where their team tracks their completed work. Their team’s communicative.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Enkonix understands startups and thinks beyond just the development process. Their team makes recommendations based on what they think would be best for my business. They also have a strong development team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only challenge was the difference in time zones, but it wasn’t a big deal. I prefer taking calls at certain times of the day, and it can be hard for them because they’re seven hours ahead or so.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give the project a lot of thought before you reach out to them because it makes the process more efficient. Have a dedicated liaison on your end. As the founder, there are times when I’m so swamped that I can’t get back to them right away.

Enkonix handles web and custom software development for an online marketing company. Working from a visual and functional description, they built an automatic link building system using AWS and Django.
The platform has received positive user feedback, and the partner is happy with its design. Enkonix quickly resolves issues and provides weekly updates throughout the process. Their team took the time to understand the project and its objectives. They're detail-oriented, effective communicators.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of an online marketing company. I work alone and don’t have any employees. Instead, I hire other companies for the work I have.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Enkonix?
I needed to create an automatic link building service for one of my projects. It was something I'd seen on the internet before; but since I can’t program myself, I was looking for someone to build it for me.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Enkonix developed the platform; it’s a website with a tool built into it. Their team is using different technologies. They started with AWS for hosting. Now, they’re using Django for the back office, as well as some other technologies I’m not familiar with. They showed me what they use, and it all sounds logical.
The project began with a conversation with the owners of Enkonix. I explained every detail to them, and it was actually difficult because I was basing my description off of something I had only seen. I told them all the needed requirements, but it was hard to build the solution from scratch. The Enkonix team took my information and derived a plan to build everything. The details of the plan were even more than I expected.
After that, we started on the designs. Enkonix made the process easy because they handled all the design work themselves. Afterward, we moved onto the technical part of building out the designs. This was the hardest part because everything had to connect with one another and it took some time.
What is the team composition?
Upon engagement, I met with two people in-person and three people online. There’s a group of designers and developers that are working on the project. I have an account manager who I communicate with, and he delivers the projects to the developers and designers.
How did you come to work with Enkonix?
I was looking for a developer and posted my task on Upwork. Enkonix replied, and we took it from there. A lot of companies applied but Enkonix really stood out to me. We met in-person because they have an office here in Amsterdam. I explained the project details to them, and they looked at the example I saw online. I’m glad I selected them because, in the end, it all worked out.
How much have you invested in them?
I’ve spent between $50,000–$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The ongoing project started in September 2019. Now, we work together on a regular basis, but not as much as before.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The platform’s base and specifications are all developed and finished. Overall, I’m really happy with the design because it looks better than my competitor’s, and that was the goal. Not to mention, Enkonix was really fast in implementing the design phase.
The quality of their work has been good from the start. Enkonix quickly provided resolutions for any problems we faced. I ended up with a completely functioning tool and backend for me and the users. This is very important because for now, I’m handling all marketing efforts to obtain new users.
Now that I’m working with the system, I get a lot of user feedback. Users have to register and then they can access the tool. Often times, there are extra things that need to be built or changed. If things aren’t working properly, I will hear about it. So far, I don’t have any complaints about usability. All-in-all, the solution is really good and my users like it too.
How did Enkonix perform from a project management standpoint?
They shared some tools that allow me to check on the project progress. Also, I have weekly Skype calls with my project manager where we discuss project status. Personally, I didn’t find it necessary to receive daily updates about the project; a weekly update was enough for me. Things are working well between budget and fixing issues, so I’m ok with the frequency.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Enkonix’s communication has been really good. I’ve been working in online marketing since 2004 and have used many other companies. This was the first time that a company really understood what my project was about.
Enkonix is detail-oriented. Their team went out of their way to provide extra features that I didn’t think of. It’s difficult to find a company that’s in control, communicates well, and is an effective listener. Enkonix is all of those things plus they transformed my ideas into a working tool.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of anything. In the end, I paid a lot of money. I’m paying a big price for the service I get, but then again, I’m getting really good service. It’s worth the money, but it’s still a lot of money in the end.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
One thing that’s important is the type of communication coming from your side. Communication needs to be present because it keeps the project going. If you communicate with Enkonix on a daily or weekly basis, you can move forward with the project you’re helping build. That’s something I’d recommend to anyone who wants to hire them.

Enkonix updated a simulation software package for a gaming company that makes customized solutions for team bonding. The team worked on developing a web-based system with a database and dashboard.
The work completed by Enkonix exceeded expectations, significantly improving business processes. They designed a user-friendly system that operates well internally. Their transparency and dedication make them stand out compared to other providers. They're a personable team that's easy to work with.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this
client over the phone. Below is an edited
transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We create custom games for companies. Those games are meant to give teams a simulated experience to further team bonding or resolve issues in the future. We also perform some gamified assessments. We put hiring candidates through psychological tests and assessments.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Enkonix?
We had a homemade software package in place for tracking people on different subjects and tasks. It was a bit outdated and not adaptive enough, so we hired Enkonix to develop a newer version.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Enkonix developed our web-based system. We have a database for collecting data in the backend and a dashboard. I work in the background, between the head of our company and Enkonix, to make sure all requirements are translated into technical terms. It was influential in the early stages to make sure that was communicated while building the framework.
What is the team composition?
That very much depends. On average, there’s a team of five people. We had two developers, a QA tester, a frontend designer, and our main point of contact. Our main contact is a manager that handles quality control. Once, we asked for an extra feature a few days before the launch, and our team went up to eight. We’re also in frequent contact with the owners.
How did you come to work with Enkonix?
We were referred to Enkonix by someone who worked with them, developing financial software with simulation components. Our contact thought we would be the perfect fit because of their experience. We ended up having consultations with them, talking over how it was supposed to look.
We assumed there would be a language barrier since they’re based in Ukraine, but there wasn’t. We were able to see how capable Enkonix was before deciding to develop the new software with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested between $50,000–$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We had initial consultations with them in either June or July 2019. The development began that August.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The impact was enormous.
Before, we had to bring our laptops with the system on them, which was difficult when the system needed to be used by 30 or so people that also needed it installed. Now, we have a web link, and everything is taken care of in the background. It’s currently operational only within our internal team, but we’re building it to become a SaaS in the future.
We were also reliant on one developer, which involved things not working out at times. With Enkonix, we made it clear how each setting worked, and we started from scratch. Their team made it clear how to use everything, so we were never surprised. Whenever we had a question, they were available.
With the new system, we can make a game or simulation, and either delay it or put it forward at any time. We’ve been able to reduce labor, and the user-friendliness of the UI has very much improved. It reduces the amount of effort needed to set up a simulation.
Whenever there’s a new feature, their team completes it within a test environment. We can identify any missing features or tweaks needed. They comply with our wishes, pushing it to the production server, where we can work with our clients. If there’s a quality issue, it’s only on the test server. It’s always handled before it reaches our clients.
How did Enkonix perform from a project management standpoint?
Using Jira gave us access to their backlog. We can see their hours, what they’re working on, and any issues. We can prioritize certain issues for resolution as well. It allows us to see the entire flow and all of the priorities. Jira makes the managing of the development very simple and clear.
When we have a new request, we can see how they enter it into the system after a meeting, and whether it’s in-line with what we requested. If it isn’t, we can give them a heads up about what needs to be changed.
What did you find most impressive about them?
When we first launched the project, their company heads traveled to us to see the system in action. That showed their dedication to the project.
When we requested something urgently, they’ve had a few all-nighters. Their team worked through the night to have it delivered by the morning, so we could have our simulations run smoothly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Even though we understand each other, I sometimes get a feeling that they don’t discuss a few things thoroughly enough. While it works out using Jira and having back-and-forths, I feel like they could ask more questions.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re kind people that are great to get along with. My advice would be for the client to have a plan ready to allow them to start working immediately. It’s important to have a vision and not put together the plan as we go along.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of an online marketing firm. We manage different types of websites worldwide.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Enkonix?
We needed a new website. The old one was getting too big, and slow, with outdated technology.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They worked with us to build a new website. There were some elements that stayed the same, but it was basically built from scratch. The website is custom-built, using Python and Laravel for backend, and Vue technology for frontend.
They improved the SEO of the website by increasing its speed in order to provide information more quickly to internet users. They continue the maintenance and implementation of new ideas to the website currently.
What is the team composition?
There are usually 2-3 people working on the project, but it varies depending on the period of the project we’re in.
How did you come to work with Enkonix?
We searched for developers online. We felt they were the most trustworthy out of the companies we considered.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested €75,000 (approximately $82,000).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the project in May 2019, and it is ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They have improved the speed, as well as the SEO, of the website, which was what we were looking for when we started the project.
How did Enkonix perform from a project management standpoint?
I’m in contact with the account manager, who reviews and delegates tasks to the appropriate team member. I send requests in Word documents through Google Drive. We also communicate with Skype calls and chats. There are no issues, despite the distance.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I really like the speed with which they respond. If I make a request, I know it will be done within a few hours, or at most, a few days. They’re far superior to my previous experience. They did a good job; everything is neat.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
First, I suggest speaking English when contacting them. Be responsive when they have questions to facilitate the speed with which they can finish tasks.
