They created a seamless design across all devices and branded competitors in the Us ecommerce. They built custom and flexible content blocks to help our team build pages quickly without needing to code. Recharge subscriptions were rebuilt with better billing, clearer renewal messages, and less friction at commitment. They powered automated lifecycle journeys on Klaviyo and even gave our team Replo to launch new landing pages on the fly. They made Checkout Blocks to improve the checkout. Polished and conversion optimised storefronts with less churn on subs, a faster and more intuitive mobile experience, an optimised checkout funnel, and a marketing setup supporting wholesale and DTC.

After just a few days, the launch's impact was clear. Site speed improved, and this reduced bounce rates and encouraged more profound browsings. Mobile engagement improved as updated navigation and interface made the whole shopping experience smoother and more intuitive. Recharge performance improved because clarifying the renewal timing resolution customer confusion brought. Klaviyo flows increased open and click-through rates more than before and this resulted in more repeat purchases. One Click Upsell increased average order value and TikTok and Facebook paid ads converted better as the site aligned more with CRO. Overall, these results brought a clear jump in revenue, customer retention, and brand performance across DTC and B2B.

They did not merely deliver what we wanted but also discovered issues and even gave us better solutions than what we originally considered.

Detail orientation, particularly when resolving complex issues of subscription and improving mobile navigation, impresses greatly. Each issue, however complex, has been addressed with clarity, understanding, and a long-term perspective that shows these individuals are interested in the future of our brand and not merely the end result of a project.

It’s the combination of these skills that made them so valuable to work with.

Everything was great, but providing more strategic forecasting during the planning sessions would help move the deciding processes along even faster. Sufficient knowledge as regards the consequences of certain integrations or design options on future scaling would simplify the forecasting. All in all, anytime we needed clarifications or an alternative, they quickly adapted and managed it well. Any possible opportunity for growth only underscores our wish to gain more of their top-level pair of hands and not on any deficiency on their part.

You have to give very specific instructions which sometimes was a little difficult because I wasn't clear on what I wanted myself but they follow instructions very well and are able to bring your designs to life.

Area of improvement for me would be trying to understand my needs a little bit better but that's mostly also on me being not clear enough. I think we spent a little too much time on certain things that could be done quicker.

They delivered items on time and quickly responded (usually less than 12 hours and never exceeding one business day.) We had nearly a dozen round of edits and every time their team implemented our requests rapidly without hesitation or protest. Even when we changed our minds and went back and fourth internally in terms of design, they still made every change we ask for in the final version, even after multiple exchanges.

I am the founder of a new luxury home fragrance company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Encyphers, and what were your goals?

I hired Encyphers to create and launch my e-commerce website through Shopify. The goal was to get the structure and the navigation of the site complete, any apps integrated into the site, custom code, and all of my launch products listed.

I reached out to e-commerce web designers that had experience with Shopify as a platform and had done other sites similar to what I was looking for. I interviewed three of them, and picked Encyphers based on a combination of factors.

We had three milestones throughout the project: A first draft - wireframes, layouts, theme integration, a second draft - a more detailed draft with placeholder photos and copy plus all features and apps integrated, and a final draft - a production-ready version that can be used for live traffic. All of the work was done on the Shopify platform including external app integration.

The site launch was successful, and we had five orders flow through the site in the first day.

We used Upwork to message each other, answer questions, and discuss project details. We shared files and assets through Google Drive. We met using video conferencing through Google Meet. I felt comfortable with our communication style and frequency.

Aafi was very hands-on and made sure everything worked the way I wanted. He also provided recommendations from previous projects he had completed.

The project ended up delayed (because of me), but when I had everything ready for launch we had to rush to complete a few last-minute fixes to the site to make sure we met the new deadline.

I’m an executive at RV*n, a booking system that connects RV owners and property owners. Our customers can find RV rentals, sites, campgrounds, and storage units, all with online self-booking.

We needed help building our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Encyphers built our website from scratch, including back- and frontend development. The project also involved the development of APIs. I gave them an idea of what I was looking for, and they put together a couple of proposals. From there, we built the site together, changing and deleting some aspects as we went. 

The team helped us add functionalities that enable individual landowners or RV parks to rent out whatever space they have for people traveling in an RV or camping, ensuring that travelers find a place to stay and that sites don’t get overcrowded.

Currently, Encyphers updates the site and makes necessary changes. They also help us with PPC and social media marketing.

What is the team composition?

I work with two people from Encyphers, though I mainly deal with the owner, who has a team behind him.

I talked to another provider who couldn’t do what we needed. Then, someone from Google sent us to Fiverr, where we found Encyphers.

We started working together in February 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Encyphers’ work has helped us promote our business and get our name out in front of people. Since our company is fairly new, we still have to get it to the general public. We’ve already seen an increase in signups to our service. Overall, Encyphers has been right on ever since our partnership began a little over a year ago.

In terms of meeting deadlines and staying on budget, they’ve been 100% right on. In the beginning, we communicated through Fiverr until our agreement was complete. Then, we started dealing with Encyphers directly, first through a couple of phone calls, and now we mainly use email.

No, there’s nothing they need to improve at all.

My advice is to be on your toes because Encyphers is good and quick and what they do, and you’ll need to do some research to get them some information. The Encyphers team doesn’t mess around; you’re paying them to do something, and they’re all over it.

Encyphers has built a new, fully-functional e-commerce site from scratch using WordPress. The website allows people to purchase items, and it has a standard interface. We also included a blog to maintain the site active, and they’ve put on a call button at the bottom so customers can contact us easily.

How did you come to work with Encyphers?

I initially found them on Fiverr. I put up a request for web designers on the platform, telling my requirements and budget. I didn’t know the name of the software of plugins that I needed, but I knew what I wanted the website to do. In the end, I went with Encyphers because Aafaq responded to me and explained exactly what I needed. He was the only one who gave me information about the technology I wanted, which showed me he had the knowledge and was willing to share it.

When I asked Encyphers, not only did they know the answer, but they already had experience with those products and processes. It gave me a lot of confidence in using their services.
