Our client, wanted to produce a video about their Singapore opperations which included shooting lifestyle office footage as well as conducting a number of interviews over a three day production in Singapore. (EM Productions) was responsible for putting together a crew make up artist and logistics for organizing the production as well as interviews. They also conducted the interviews and made sure that we hit all the key aspects needed for the video.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This was a tricky production as we needed to match all the  production styles from Europe and the United States with what we are going to ask EM Productions to produce. Ehrin was the lead on this production acting as a Director and him and his team really came through for us on this production. This was a really important film for our client as they were about to go public on the stock exchange and this was their first video right after the public offering.

 Not only did EM Prouduction get really good interview responses but the footage was exactly how we wanted it to be matched similar to our offices in Europe and the United States.

We had three online meetings with Ehrin and his team and everything was followed as directed. They made sure to ask questions on things that weren't clear. By the time the production took place I felt very confident that they would be able to execute like we liked and sure enough there were no surprises and everyone was happy.

In Asia, it can sometimes be pretty hard to find reliable suppliers to execute a production to match a style in the United States or Europe. The videos sophisticatedly showcase the beauty of the resort in both facilities and experiences brought to guests via visual frames and music.

The video shows experience of guests (a couple) in:

• Facilities of the resort: room, pools, therapy garden, Monogram Lounge, etc.
• Activities: beach, local sites and cultural attractions, dining in interaction with Shilla Monogram team.
• Drone shots show the whole resort from the bird-eye view

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had really good positive feedback from our guests and were even able to expand on new products for our clients for cultural turns like shown in the video. We also feel that this video production really helped us set us apart from our competitors and we see this in our guests.

EM Productions was really wonderful to work with. They came to us with amazing ideas right off the bat. We had multiple meetings with them and they were able to come up with a creative concept we felt fit the idea we had for our resort and the type of customer we would like to attract visually, the film is beautiful and better than any of us could've imagined when our owner saw the film, he said "wow that looks great." We couldn't have asked for a better response not just from our owner but our whole team was very happy.

EM Productions, is really professional and straightforward to work with. They are very well organized, and you can tell. They were extremely experienced in creating creative content, whether it be photography or video production. They know the best time of the day to shoot the image to get the feeling that you want to have in your video and photos, and they are very thoughtful and will affect how our customer sees our brand. 
Making a video or a photo shoot causes a lot of stress to the resort team and the management, but we found working with EM Productions things went really smoothly, and everybody knew their responsibilities after the job was finished, I could see that our teams were not stretched to their limits like we normally have experienced in the past with other productions. 
This makes everyone's job much easier, and I appreciate their thoughts on reducing their impact on our resort.

Our brand was opening up a new resort in Vietnam and needed to produce not just a commercial branded video but also multiple social media cuts for the video campaign with unique visuals that make our brand stand out. The campaign ranged from multiple social media reels and online advertising shorts featuring the resort villas and the experiences the resort offers in Nha Trang, Vietnam. 
EM Productions was responsible for implementing the production and style as provided by the agency but also modifying the creative brief with copywriting and demographic targeting. We worked with EM Productions to produce over 56 different target videos from this one production.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This campaign ran for three months before the 2023 summer season, and we saw an 20% increase in reservations and sales of the property from the previous year. Our property owner is very happy, as we have seen a significant increase from before the campaign started. 
We are also finding that many of our customers are referring to the video they saw and wanting to have similar experiences, all of which helps promote the services and profitability of our property, which was exactly the reason for implementing this video production campaign.

The project was managed much more effectively and efficiently than other video productions we had done in the past. In fact, this is the first time I have seen a video be made almost exactly as it was planned, and we were impressed. On the day of the shoot, everything run on schedule, as EM Productions had prepared our local resort team and the locations in advance so that we could be successful in our planning and execution for the post-production. Everything was delivered on time and as agreed.

We really loved the visuals and creative approach EM Productions brought to the table. They think carefully about our target demographics and their motivators and how to target them. Not only are they creative, but they are extremely well organized and a pleasure to communicate with. Everything in the project is transparent and according to the timeline everyone laid out; 
I could not ask for a better partner to help reduce the stress of organizing, a video production at a very high-end resort. Everything was smooth and done in a courteous and professional manner. I look forward to working with them again.

What challenge were you trying to address with EM Productions Video Production and Photography?

We needed a series of interviews and testimonies for our client's corporate video, as well as some footage of their facilities in Vietnam, both in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of work done?

EM Productions Video Production and Photography was in charge of conducting the interviews in Vietnamese and English, as well as coordinating the shooting of the B-roll, which included directing, camera, and lighting. The final deliverable was the raw footage, which we added to the overall global corporate video production. 

They were in charge of shooting the interviews for CEOs and directors of partner companies in Vietnam for our customer. Then they needed to shoot corporate lifestyle B-roll as well as industrial B-roll of those facilities and operations in Vietnam. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with two teammates from EM Productions Video Production and Photography. 

How did you come to work with EM Productions Video Production and Photography?

I was referred to them and then looked up reviews online. I saw that they had a production office in Hanoi, which was where we needed to shoot our video. Firstly, they had a lot of experience in the corporate sector, making corporate films for a wide range of clients. For this particular project, which was a corporate project, we felt that they were the best fit. We also found their budget to be very reasonable, and in our initial meeting, we seemed to align very well culturally.

We spent just over $6,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from July 24–25, 2025.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The footage produced was beautiful, and EM Productions Video Production and Photography did an excellent job matching the brand aesthetic we asked for. It was great to have a company to rely on in Asia that could shoot the same production quality as they have in the United States or EU. That way, we didn't have to fly crews all over the world just to make sure the image looked good. Now, we have a production partner in Asia that can do the same production quality as we would expect in these locations. 

Our client was super happy with the footage, and even some of the members, when reviewing the film, were surprised at how cinematic it was, all of which made us very happy. The footage was really cinematic and captured some nice aspects of the manufacturing in Vietnam, and the interview setups were very professionally done.

They delivered after two days of shooting. EM Productions Video Production and Photography operated on an international professional level. They never missed a beat. The team was easy to work with, creative, and, most importantly, nice to communicate with and transparent. We communicated via email and WhatsApp.

It was nice to feel comfortable with a team that just knew what they were doing, and we didn't have to worry about it. They had our best interest at heart when they executed, and they created cinematic footage that was nice and helped us look good in front of our client.

Everything was amazing. We got the footage really fast and made our deadline. We had some great shots in photos and videos from them that even our global management team commented on. The facility in Shanghai where they did the photos and video was very important in the overall project.
