None that come to mind. They were a very good fit for the job we asked them to do. I can’t begin to tell you how pleased I am with the work EbizON did in migrating our website over to WordPress. I hired Ebizon aka Cartunited to migrate my website to Shopify.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I interviewed multiple companies through initial consults, providing all data for scoping the project, reviewing proposals and partaking in presented contracts. Ebizon was not the most expensive, but they were not the least expensive. They stated they were shopify experts and could migrate my site and all of its data, choose the best plugins to accommodate my data and business needs. Their presentations were professional and in depth and they offered clear solutions for my needs.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
On Jan 13 I provided all details of my website needs including all my order totals, data details, order and customer counts and current platforms and plugins. We reviewed my business needs and my reason for migrating.
On Jan 17 Ebizon aka Cartunited set up a call and sent me a proposal and scope including confirming as shopify experts, Shopify and the identified apps would accommodate my needs. We went through each section, app, plugin, each separate cost for those apps and plugins, my data, and the project timeline of 4-6 weeks.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Scot, was my original contact. He left the company shortly after I signed a contract. Sanjana was my only project contact for the migration which failed. Ryan was my new point of contact whom cancelled and failed to shop up at multiple meetings Saubarh was a manager who stepped in after they realized they made a mistake in scoping the project.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The entire project was not delivered due to their errors of not completely scoping the project. In the end, the solutions they provided could not accommodate my data.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Extremely frustrating project management. The original rep left the company without any notice. I was not informed until I reached out for an update. The next PM failed to show up to 3 of 4 meetings. The first time he rescheduled a few minutes beforehand, the second time he didn't show up at all, the third time he rescheduled and said he felt ill.
The original project was 4-6 weeks. I found out at 4 weeks that they failed to properly scope my project and they asked for an additional $2800 to create a custom app to resolve their errors. When I declined, they stated I would need to pay another company $800 a month to accommodate my digital needs. I also declined.
How did your relationship with the vendor evolve?
For over a month I tried to resolve the matter through meetings, exploring other alternatives which they told me to ask other companies for quotes for solutions, it was a nightmare. I tried, I was patient, but in the end they wanted $2800 on top of the $4400 I agreed to because their original rep made a mistake in reviewing all the details I provided originally, that included all my data details which exceeded the limits of the app they selected to accommodate my digital download needs.
In the end, they offered a refund during a recorded meeting, I accepted. They then retracted 3 days later and stated they want to keep the initial deposit of more than $1800USD. I had to open a dispute with Paypal.

Initially, I thought it was their due diligence, but ultimately, the most impressive thing is how they lied. They lied about being able to deliver the migration. They offered a refund and then lied and said they wouldn't give me one. Thankfully I recorded all conversations.

We have been working with Ebizon for more than 7 years now on various projects. The biggest projects that Ebizon has worked with us for is developing a SaaS Platform for Internships Vertical and then most recently developing our e-Learning Platforms on Website & Mobile App.

Because of our long relationship with Ebizon and the work that they have done with us, they are our go-to partner for any development project. They have a diverse and expert team consisting of developers who are experienced in the most trending & in-demand languages and systems.
They are also very customer-oriented and proactive with their services.

We were looking to build a custom SaaS Platform that would automate the process of selecting, training and managing our Internships Product. This included building a whole host of new functionalities from scratch
Project Manager Dashboard with the ability to put up Internship Listings, Create Training & Assessment Programs, Select/ Reject Students, Reports & Database Systems, etc.
Client Dashboard with the ability to remotely manage & interact with their Interns - Group Chat, Milestone Tracker, Announcements, etc.
Android Mobile App for the Interns through which they could Browse & Apply to Internships, Take Selection Assessments, Access Resources & Training Programs, Interact with their Project Managers through Chat, Download Certificates and more.
Later on we also enlisted Ebizon to create our eLearning Platform which consisted of repurposing our Internships LMS system and creating new functionalities:
Uploading Video based Courses along with Assessments & Scoring Systems, New Search Features, Home Pages, etc.
Our Website uses a NodeJS backend with Angular Frontend. The Mobile App development has been done via Android Studio and most recently via Flutter.

We have always worked with 1 Full Stack Developer and 1 Mobile App Developer in our team. Occasionally, depending on requirements we have had temporary additions to the team in the form of junior Web Developers and Frontend Developers.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After the launch of our LMS system (part of the SaaS based Internships Platform), the TAT of our Project Managers in providing qualified candidates to clients was reduced by 76%. This also reduced the team's manual efforts and hence enabled them to handle more projects at the same time.
We also received positive feedback from our clients in terms of candidate quality.

We had Weekly Meetings with the Development Team to discuss any queries they had on the PRDs, Bugs & Development Issues/ Roadblocks, etc. Apart from that we kept in constant touch via Skype where we quickly approve small small changes, or resolve and discuss queries on the go.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They have a very structured approach that also reflects in the team that they provide. They don't just execute what you have given as a PRD but instead think in your feet and actively contribute to make your product that you envisioned.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There have been some delays in our launches from time to time. However, nothing of great concern or anything that they did not immediately improve upon.

The team followed agile approach. The deliverables involved extracting records from Excel files and populate database tables, providing Global and Project level searches of Patents with different Taxonomy searches for each Project, dynamic generation of Different kind of Charts (i.e., Pie, Bar, Column etc.) based on dynamic search statistics. etc.

It was a team of 5 including Project Manager, Frontend developer, Sr. Application developer, Quality Analyst and Business Analyst

The work product helped us distinguish our offerings from the competitors. The product offered efficiencies into our service delivery model thereby allowing the team to offer higher insights to the customers.

To provide better responsiveness to changing business needs they followed Agile methodology where the project was divided into several sprints. In every sprint, they made sure that the feedback is incorporated once it was approved by our team at United Lex. They approached us using a documented set of policies, processes, and procedures. We were assigned a project manager who acts as the primary point of contact for our organization.

This has led to the development of a superior Application.

They used Basecamp, Jira, and Microsoft team to incorporate the feedback and discuss various sprints.
