Using Jira alongside Slack has allowed for a clear understanding of Production progress, blocking items and anticipated actions. Some miscommunication happened from time to time, but this is due to our communication methods, and most importantly, to the scale of the project. Dinamicka has always tagged along and supported us in solving the challenges we have faced so far.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dinamicka Development?
We needed to create a sports analytics dashboard for an internal customer. It had to be data-heavy, with mathematics and data transformations, and fast.

What was the scope of their involvement?
Dinamicka Development designed and developed our sports analytics dashboard. We had the logic for the data analytics that we’d transformed into Python scripts. Dinamicka Development inherited that and used it to build a single-page web application in Django. Everything was developed from scratch except for a few website functions we provided, including a graph rendering function. They redesigned some aspects to ensure we got the perfect product.

We’ve worked with the CEO and founder, two developers, two designers, and a product manager.

I found Dinamicka Development on Clutch. I chose them because I worked with another firm before, but they’d been very expensive to work with. Dinamicka Development performed well in terms of project management. They were transparent with their limitations and were incredibly nice, approachable, and responsive throughout. We did have an issue because they had to replace the previous project manager assigned to us, but they handled the transition very well. They managed to stay within budget, but it did take a bit longer for us to complete the project compared to their initial estimate.
We used Jira for project management and Slack and phone calls for communication.

I was impressed with Dinamicka Development’s ability to meet our expectations with a limited budget. They never overpromise anything — they were always transparent and open to finding a way to make things work and making sure that we knew the limitations of the project.

An account lead to ensure we had the right resources and the project was initiated inline with our expectations. A project managed to oversee the Jira and development efforts from the Dinamicka side, as well as a full time front-end developer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The delivery exceeded our expectations in terms of matching our desired UX design and coding standards used. The team were very experienced and able to handle challenges efficiently and effectively. At all times we felt in control of the delivery, helped by using agile best practice.

We had daily scrum calls with our PM and front-end developer as well as weekly Sprint review/planning sessions to commit activities for the next work period. Sprints were managed in Jira, and communication through Slack. The PM was hands on to support an effective delivery and was able to support the in-house team well.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Dinamicka did their due diligence in the discovery phase of the project which allowed them to understand the scope clearly and match the right resources to the project. They were very well organised as a team and were on top the process end to end which demonstrated excellent professionalism in their trade.

The Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED) is a non-profit crisis monitoring organization that collects data on political violence and protest activity around the world.

For what projects/services did your company hire Dinamicka Development?
ACLED is in the early stages of launching a series of local conflict observatories to enhance data collection in conflict-affected contexts where it is difficult to obtain accurate information through traditional media monitoring.
Our first observatory, called Cabo Ligado -- or 'connected cape' -- tracks political violence in northern Mozambique. The project's donors provided a limited budget to create distinct branding and a dedicated website for Cabo Ligado.
We contracted Dinamicka Development to design the branding package and web scheme.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal of the project was to create a distinct branding/web package for Cabo Ligado that made it clear that the observatory was its own independent entity, while still signifying its position within the wider ACLED data collection network.
SOLUTION
How did you select Dinamicka Development?
We researched and interviewed a series of web/graphic design firms and contractors, in addition to considering several in-house options.
We ultimately selected Dinamicka Development because they seemed professional, competent, and able to successfully take on an open-ended project with a tight budget.
ACLED's Director of Programs & Operations, Senior Finance Manager, and Senior Communications Manager were the primary employees involved in the selection process.
Describe the project in detail.
Dinamicka designed a branding package for the Cabo Ligado project, to be used for web content and other project materials. The branding package included digital resources built around an original logo and color scheme, and it was meant to cohere with ACLED’s overall branding style.
The vendor was responsible for the following deliverables/technical requirements:
Logo (Including 4-6 prototypes and 5 changes to the selected prototype);
Color scheme (Including two color scheme options to select from);
Full branding package (including a PDF and a Figma link to all materials;
two color schemes illustrated on a single wireframe screen; logo use cases; icons; typography; corporate style of the elements).
ACLED provided initial high-level guidance and color references.
Throughout the process, ACLED and Dinamicka went through multiple rounds of feedback on logo designs, typography, general style, etc.
What was the team composition?
We primarily interacted with four people from the vendor's side: the CEO, a project manager, and two designers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have not yet publicly launched the core materials that will use the branding package/web design, so we cannot yet share related concrete outcomes or metrics. But we are very happy with the results of the project.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Dinamicka was extremely responsive and the scheduling was very well-managed. Any delays in the project were a result of our internal review processes; there was never any delay on the part of the vendor.
Communications were always quick and professional. We used a dedicated Slack channel and Upwork to manage workflow.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their ability to produce very quick, professional work with limited guidance and within a limited budget.

No. They were very skilled, efficient, and professional. The project was executed successfully.

We appointed Dinamicka Development as our outsourced agency to assist us in developing our SaaS web app, built with React.js and Node.js.
It was our goal for them to help us deliver an MVP, however, we ended up working with them throughout the entirety of the project, until we had developed an MSP (with substantially more features and complexity).
SOLUTION
How did you select Dinamicka Development and what were the deciding factors?
I chose Dinamicka after speaking in-depth with their CEO - Oleksandr - looking over his proposal and reviewing their previous work for similar web apps.
Oleksandr was friendly, approachable and able to provide suggestions, feedback, solutions and estimates. The Dinamicka team was experienced, professional and largely based in-house, which was important to us.

There were 3 people I had contact with most frequently throughout the development. The project manager, the backend developer and the frontend developer. Early in the process, I also had weekly video calls with the CEO and PM.
There were also a few QA and devops technicians who worked on the project from time to time (but weren't in direct contact with me).
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We were able to deliver the MSP after ~8-9 months of development and overall I was very happy with how the project was handled. Deadlines were met 9/10 times and communication was constant through Slack.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
The Dinamicka team communicated with us via Slack on a daily basis. They also gave us direct access to their Jira board, which is almost unheard of, but was hugely appreciated and allowed us to directly report bugs and upload new tasks without losing track of things through Slack.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We had direct access to the whole team, and could communicate on Jira tickets directly with the developers.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The only complications we had on this project were largely due to me not understanding the implications of doing something a certain way, and those implications not being explained earlier on.
For example, our web app was built as a Single Page Application to save time. Not a bad thing, but it meant that our tools like Google Analytics couldn't properly track users between the pages.

I was very happy to see that they have provided extra features that I asked for that includes website animation and an easy to use admin panel that allows me to upload documents for students.

I was working directly with the CEO and he was my point of contact throughout the project. He is very helpful, easy to communicate and work with. For my project I believe he relied on his graphic designer and a couple web dev members to complete my project.

I am super happy with the way my website turned out to be! I was able to launch and start scaling my business. I look forward to adding new features and working with their team to make my website scalable for a larger audience.

They have management the project in its entirety and I was thrilled to receive guidance and feedback from them. We have mostly communicated via email and we had a few working sessions via Zoom. Despite the timezone difference the CEO always made time for me and I felt like he values me as his client.

I was most impressed with the quality of work and the competitive price that their company was able to provide. I have researched about half a dozen other companies and they were nowhere near as good as Dinamicka Development.
