The project involved a complete rebuild of the existing website, including the development of a new e-commerce platform based on WordPress and WooCommerce. The webshop was designed to support a quarterly wine subscription model for private customers with quarterly changing add-on products.

A core component of the project was the integration of a new subscription management and payment processing system using Frisbii. This included configuring subscription logic, billing cycles, customer account handling, and payment flows, as well as ensuring seamless synchronization between WooCommerce and Frisbii.

The scope also covered the migration of approximately 2,000 existing customers from the legacy system to the new platform. One area for improvement would be greater transparency at the beginning of the project regarding who would be directly involved. During the selection process, we interacted with different individuals than the developer and project manager who ultimately worked on the project. While the actual team was competent and delivered good results, we would have appreciated clearer communication upfront about team roles and responsibilities.

The application included a central dashboard to track content orders, "order details" pages where clients could view, discuss, add tags to and cancel orders, a custom CRM, authentication, automated notifications, and many more features. Key deliverables included an order form, a unified dashboard, an account details section, and a drag-and-drop internal template builder for our team.

The team (led by Anna H.) delivered every deliverable on time, often proactively setting their own deadlines. They developed advanced and often custom features that we asked for (such as an interactive "document builder", custom UI components, and a built-in CMS) without compromising on quality and with what seemed like no effort at all. Most of all, Anna advocated for our team and our product like it was her own.

Web designer Daniil at DevIT was so creative and innovative that I was hooked on the very first draught.
