The target was to create mobile application for andoid and ios integrated with Positive Cinema ticketing system, allowing to present available repertoire in the cinema, reserve seats and buy the tickets via application as well as the dedicated website for ticket sale process. The payment process was prepared by Develtio for the Przelewy24 processor. 

The task was realised in timely manner, within predicted budget. Go live of the application was smooth with fast response and proper go live support. Application works fine until today and does not need much maintenance.

Very little number of errors in the application, fast response, timely implementation and costs within agreed budget

They had a small mishap with the premature publication of the test page, but the problem was resolved very quickly.

We were using basic reservation system and needed totally new one suited for our company, clients and exectations.

We've considered different solutions (software house/full code, no code, low code). Develtio came with the best understanding with what we need and how we want to maintain our software later.

After kick-off Develtio disassembled our project to tiniest details and applied for each part our target api methods (which was not fully completed and needed a bit of documentation upgrade). Then they worked with us from sprint to sprint and provided environment for testing. They've been also making tests.

We were contacting mostly with their project manager but had been using skills of totally one fullstack developer, two testers and one graphic designer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are still analysing fully the outcome however we can already say that our backoffice work decreased by more than 50% because we had to check manually too many things before our new reservation system launch.

We were informed weekly about results and current status. We were using Miro for timeline and process analysis. Microsoft 365 and Google tools for everyday communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They used only 70% of their time to provide fully working system. That was most impressive. Also during development and after launch they were reacting really fast to changes and new tasks. However most unique was how they reflected on our feedback and were able to improve their approach to new task estimation.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As a project manager I would love to have more insight in some tasks to communicate faster with the developer but I understand that it could be overused by some other people, especially business.

At first, we try to update the image of the brand. After seeing a few mood boards and offer, we came up with a new brand book and logo. Then we move to website design. We discussed the main functions of the website, and then I was presented with functional layouts of the website. After addressing my suggestions, we moved to graphic mockups. I was allowed for three rounds of corrections, and then Develtion proceeded to code the website. After the website was ready, I was able to test it and bring up every concern. The project was finalized after my final approval.

We were discussing all important matters with a team through Google Meets. Daily we have been communicating through e-mail. Mockups, layouts as well as corrections were presented and talked over in Adobe Cloud. Deadlines were very clear for both sides and all delays were communicated in advance.

This company had an entirely professional approach to all aspects of the project and shows a lot of involvement in creating the best outcome. I was very concerned about starting a collaboration with another developer after my previous experiences. However, now, thanks to Develtio, not enough that I have a fantastic website, but also I'm able to modify and add all the content myself easily.

No. All was perfect!

Our client had a successful online business and wanted to develop a mobile application for it.

What was the scope of their involvement?

My company handled the design work and API constructions, as we always do, and Develtio provided a React Native development team to build the app from scratch. After that, they integrated the API we created with the app. They also provided project management. The app is for the Australian market to help people find childcare providers.

We worked with three people: a business analyst, a project manager, and a developer. There were testers involved as well, but I never spoke with them directly.

We worked together from January–May 2022. The project is still ongoing, but it’s estimated to end this month.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Their development quality is very high. We don’t have any metrics, as the product isn’t the idea itself, but their work is great.

How did Develtio perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re pretty good at this part of the work. The project got to a point where it was easier for us to manage the work, as it was just easier, so that transition happened naturally. They didn’t do anything wrong, it was just better this way. We communicated over Trello and Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Develtio was very flexible. The project wasn’t easy, as our clients had challenging requirements that blocked the developers for a while, but Develtio was accommodating. This was a big help for us, as they could easily have turned around and enforced the letter of the contract, making life very difficult for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The challenges Develtio faced were very difficult, and they did everything they could.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Establish a communication process very early on. This was partially our fault, as we left them alone early on without regular check-ins.

At the initial stage, we shared the new marketing materials, updated visual identity, and had several introductory meetings that allowed Develtio to understand our needs. They asked what we like and what we seek in web design. And found multiple real examples of how things can be presented. They designed our new website in the Figma tool - that I find very well suited for online collaboration. We did several iterations of improvements and re-design. And then the website was developed, based on the WordPress CMS. Everything was high quality.

First impressions are really good. The results have reached our high expectations. For the measurable outcomes, we will need some time.

The most visible result of this project is the website itself - an easy and more friendly to use one. Now our customers can find and learn about our growing offering faster. We is a marketplace for rental real estate. We cater to travelers that are looking for something more than a comfortable hotel with nice drinks. Our service is focused on original, off the beaten track holiday real estate that can offer more than just accommodation. Develtio was hired in order to fix existing issues in our web app, like search, speed of the website, and bugs. After initial cooperation, we decided that it’s a good idea to go with them on new features also. This included: integration of our web application with channel manager (Planyo), booking system for properties, booking management for clients, host’s control panel, chat feature for communication between hosts and guests. Right now we are working with them on full payment system for our service.

What were your goals for this project?

Like I’ve said at the beginning that was more of a bug-fix project, but due to good cooperation, we decided to entrust them with the full development of our project and to bring the fully-features product to the market.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

They allowed us to automate the whole reservation process and boosted the discovery of new rental estate for users thanks to the improved search process.

Project management was done by PM that was assigned to me by the company. Most of the things that needed to be talked about we did on phone and e-mail. Also, I wanted the design to be great so I did consultation with their graphic designer.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Elastic and customer-centric approach to our project. The code quality is very high. Develtio is proactive and always ready to help in terms of new ideas and recommendations for better solutions to our challenges. They have not only tech-knowledge but also are business savvy.
