transcript.
BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We operate within the life science research reagents industry.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Cyber-Duck?
We had some investment from the board for setting up our organization. A part of this was the creation of a website which didn't exist beforehand.
We have three different types of stakeholders and needed to meet each group's challenges through the design and function of our website, and through how the business is operated.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cyber-Duck provided full website development and branding services for us. They also came up with the name. I'm not a technical person, so I can't provide more information on that front.
How did you come to work with Cyber-Duck?
We went through a vendor sourcing round. Cyber-Duck shined through their expertise in user-centric design, more than anything.
How much have you invested with Cyber-Duck?
This is confidential. The longevity of our collaboration with Cyber-Duck can give an indication of the size of our budget.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Cyber-Duck two years ago. The initial project had a three-month period from start to finish and was launched in October 2014. We've had ongoing Agile development using Cyber-Duck ever since.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We doubled the size of our portfolio during the first 18 months, eventually going from a collaboration with five different institutions to 56 at this time. We've also seen a 15% increase in revenues.
What did you find most impressive about Cyber-Duck?
I appreciated Cyber-Duck's technical creativity. We sometimes came with set ideas of what we wanted, but Cyber-Duck taught us to think about what it was we wanted in terms of goals and outcomes, and not be only solution-focused. They've challenged us on certain aspects of our assumptions. We have a very open and honest relationship with Cyber-Duck. I value this massively.
Are there any areas Cyber-Duck could improve?
Because we have an ongoing open dialogue with Cyber-Duck, we've always talked about issues directly and worked them through in an Agile way. I've been very pleased with the quality of our last two sprints, which was one of my earlier criticisms.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We're a construction company. I am in charge of the company's website and digital assets.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Cyber-Duck?
We needed help managing our website and other digital activities. The current website needed urgent updating. It has a visual focus, and we wanted to make a bold statement with our imagery. Cyber-Duck had the expertise to accomplish this.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cyber-Duck updated our website, making it responsive. They provided complete user-centric services, conducting interviews with stakeholders and brainstorming sessions, in order to find what we, our customers, and our suppliers wanted. Cyber-Duck put all of this together to create the actual wireframes and design. They also provided testing.
We had worked on several projects with Cyber-Duck before the current one. They built our initial main website, as well as a marketing page. Cyber-Duck created a Facebook app for us, which linked to our CMS, taking care of the whole strategy behind that.
How did you come to work with Cyber-Duck?
I found Cyber-Duck on a directory for website companies.
How much have you invested with Cyber-Duck?
The cost of Cyber-Duck's work has been below $200,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Cyber-Duck in 2008.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
Cyber-Duck was able to shortlist our Facebook page for relevant construction keywords.
How did Cyber-Duck perform from a project management standpoint?
We tracked our project through Cyber-Duck's website.
What did you find most impressive about Cyber-Duck?
Cyber-Duck's team has strong user-centric expertise. They're also knowledgeable about project management and design.
Are there any areas Cyber-Duck could improve?
No. Any issues were on our end because we didn’t deliver content in time.
What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with Cyber-Duck?
I have recommended Cyber-Duck to other people. I have worked with other agencies, compared to which Cyber-Duck had a much better style.

Cyber-Duck conducted a site audit and redeveloped the client's website. Their work was intended to increase traffic and improve ease of content posting.
As a result of Cyber-Duck's work, there has been a 100% increase in visits to the client's site. The new website has received great feedback from stakeholders across the board.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Kerry Foods produces our own label and brands sold across the world. I am the Brand Marketing Manager for the Home Baking category – specifically for Homepride Flour
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Cyber-Duck?
Homepride is a well-recognized brand with a great heritage. We were looking to take that kudos online to support the huge number of bakers looking for content. Our challenge was to create a website that would be straightforward to use, full of great content and somewhere that bakers could return to again and again for inspiration and ideas. It was important that we got a good stream of traffic, improved our links to social media and had an easy and straightforward way to update our content repository.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Cyber-Duck reviewed our site against a number of direct and indirect competitor sites together with examples of celebrity chef and brand sites that we felt were best in class – perhaps due to look & feel functionality and content. They then produced a proposal based on this benchmark in order to produce a best in class solution. Cyber-Duck then ran that process and produced www.homeprideflour.co.uk
How did you come to work with Cyber-Duck?
I had worked with Cyber-Duck on a previous project and knew that they could accomplish what I was asking for. I have worked with large and small agencies in the past and knew that this job was ideal for a more compact team who could dedicate their time and energies to the project. It was a relatively small job and yet of vital importance to us so I wanted to use a team I knew I could trust. I chose them because of Cyber-Duck's attention to detail and ability to get the work done the first time. My past experience confirmed that Cyber-Duck's team took ownership of the work.
How much have you invested with Cyber-Duck?
The cost of Cyber-Duck's work was between $10,000 and $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our first conversations with Cyber-Duck were in June or July 2016. The project launched in late August.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
We've seen a more than 100% increase in the visits to our site. We've had great feedback from customers and stakeholders in general, as well as from bloggers, other agencies, and distributors.
What did you find most impressive about Cyber-Duck?
The value for money is very important. If I have a clear budget in mind, from my experience, Cyber-Duck can help me achieve the goal within that limit. The ownership over the work is extremely important to me, and Cyber-Duck's team has completely dedicated itself to the project as a whole. There may be moments when Cyber-Duck's team has to research an issue, but they know their stuff, and I don't think I've ever stumped them with a question.
Are there any areas Cyber-Duck could improve?
There was one point in our project when Cyber-Duck switched project managers, so I wasn't sure who was running the work. I was able to contact both persons and receive an answer, so it didn't affect my progress.
