I'm the owner of Meal Plan Map, an online meal planning and fitness tracking service. We provide our members with a monthly subscription including recipes, meal planner and tracker, shopping list, fitness trackers, and community challenges.

With a basic website already built, I needed to integrate my site with a white label meal planning service that utilized several moving parts.

What were your goals for this project?

I set out to create a seamless user flow for my members, combining two separate sites into a single brand experience. My timeline was three months.

Their two teams worked well together and were eager to get the best results possible. Codup.io implemented several components into the site such as signup forms, registration pages, payment gateways, and communication APIs. They also made several additional tweaks I requested before launch.

Asim was my lead contact/developer for the initial integration. After the main components were in place, Adam (Operations Director, Codup.io) joined to help with the small details. Ayaz (Project Manager, Codup.io) came on later as well.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Their team met my goals and expectations, and the site launched fairly close to schedule. We only had to make minimal tweaks. A significant number of new members have signed up since we launched.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We handled all development tasks efficiently on Codeable.io. The rest of the project was managed on Teamwork and the white label platform. Our teams were located in different countries, which caused minor delays, but I was pleased with their responsiveness overall.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their honesty in the face of challenges and ability to work together to achieve a common goal was outstanding. They genuinely want what’s best for their clients, and it shows in the work they do.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Time zones should always be considered, but it wasn't too much of an issue for us.

Codup has taken the functional prototype and created wireframes. They’re now working with the designer to build the platform’s MVP. Their work includes project planning and scoping, approach and methodology, wireframes and user stories, architectural and data flow diagrams, and approval and project structuring.

One of my customers wanted us to translate and expand a web app, but unfortunately, that product was built on a platform that wasn’t proper for scaling, so we needed someone who could reproduce the same app in another system.

Codup’s team is helping us with mobile app development. The team is reproducing my customer’s app as a WordPress plug-in to make it easily replicable and translatable.
