We engaged them strictly for SEO, but after working with the company for nine to ten months, traffic did not see a meaningful, sustained increase. While traffic did spike momentarily, it quickly returned to previous levels and never recovered.

The team attributed this to a Google algorithm change, but if their SEO strategy is so vulnerable to a single update, it does not seem like a reliable, long-term solution. Since the primary goal of hiring them was SEO performance, and they did not deliver, I cannot recommend them for that service.

It is worth noting that my contract ended partly due to defensiveness from a few team members. However, I met many wonderful people on their team and genuinely enjoyed collaborating with them, so your experience may differ.

Team was on time, we did not feel like we were waiting on them.  Team was also very flexible - we did some scope changes and it all was handled properly.  Some minor tweaks were done under the original scope without a fuss and we appreciated that.

We certainly do not have a standard or typical business - some changes in design that would be best for a different business model just don't work for us.  We appreciated that the design team learned a bit about our selling process and had good suggestions on how to change design to accomodate this.

A few more design templates for the Mega Menu that we could have picked from would have been nice.  We customized the whole Mega Menu but it would have gone faster if we had more concrete examples or templates to see and play around live with in real time vs static mockups.

Coalition was engaged to help us grow from a successful brick and mortar store into a national online retailer. They were challenged to improve website performance and grow revenue post-COVID and help us gain a national presence. Key deliverables were significant new copy, blog posts, keyword rankings and overall financial statements and performance on a monthly basis. We also engaged Coalition for our Meta ads starting 1/1/25, with the aim of growing engagement in social media.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There have been a number of measurable outcomes, the most signicant being online revenue. We have seen 100%+ growth online YoY since engaging Coalition and continue to see improvements. So much so that we have had to scale back a little on advertising in order for us to keep up! The other measurable outcome has been keyword rankings - we have seen us grow from non-existent to ranking in the top 3 for many major keywords in our industry.

Coaliton is very responsive. Our requests are handled within hours of us raising a concern. They are always willing to help out, even in areas that may be out of their control. We have bi-weekly meetings with our project manager and he truly understands our business and its unique needs.

We are working together to bring our customers a more intimate email responses about upcoming deals, inventory and hemp blog posts. We are excited to see how the Coalition team can bring our ideas to life.

Rogue Origin and Coalition are working to reach our customers about upcoming deals and inventory updates. Ronke had sent an email blast showcasing the Valentines day sale we had for the weekend. Once the blast had been sent we notices and influx of customers who placed an order from our online checkout. We also got inbound phone calls from wholesale customers interested in our CBD hemp flower and the sale. Overall the email marketing has brought in new and past customers.

I worked with Coalition Technologies for just over one year to grow my website organically, and to improve conversions/sales from visitors to my website. Unfortunately, after our year together, my organic visitors were down 20% compared to the month we started.

Over the year of the campaign, my organic visitors dropped by just over 20%.

There were times I needed to repeatedly ask my digital producers for deliverables as they were not ready on the expected deadline. Other than that, most deliverables were on time or slightly delayed. Over the past few years with Google's core updates and the helpful content updated, the SEO game has really changed. I do believe that the team tried their best to grow my site organically. However, I feel that Coalition's strategies are dated and don't work with the current Google landscape. 

I know SEO is a two-way street - I made sure to respond to all requests and approvals needed from me within 24 business hours.

I liked that I had one or two digital producers in charge of my campaign. I was also impressed to meet a large team of about 20 people on my kickoff call, but I never heard from or say about 17 of them after the call.

Coalition never discussed KPIs or OKRs once during our time together. I highly encourage the Coalition Technologies team to set specific growth goals and discuss results (or lackthereof) with clients on a regular basis. I also believe the team could learn more about the current landscape of SEO in 2024, as it's no longer simply bare bones content and mediocre backlinks.

While this individual does seem to be a real customer of Coalition, I will call out some facts about their campaign which are inaccurately represented here:

• KPIs were always top of mind. From our initial strategy through our first twelve months of working with them there was a constant focus on driving new leads for their business. KPIs and shared goals are a constant point of emphasis.
• The client works in an industry with a 70% YoY drop in search volume for their core terms. Despite positive gains in many metrics, we were unable to overcome the broader industry slide occurring post COVID.
• The client initially hired us while in the midst of a multi-year trend of decline both as a business and in their online marketing efforts. Our work did slow those declines and even showed promising gains but were unable to account for the lack of consumer interest in her services.
• The client did not fully support the recommended strategy, pushing for 'shinier' and buzzier SEO activities instead of focusing on developing more meaningful content and content experiences around her core group of keywords.
• Finally the client was working on a minimal budget and wasn't willing to make the necessary investment to turn things around.

Coalition does a wonderful job managing both our PPC/SEO and social media accounts and campaigns. They manage on an ongoing basis, providing in depth reports and analysis biweekly along with meetings and 24/7 communication to make sure our business thrives in the new age of marketing.

Very few times, there have been some redundancies in process or content, however, they have identified them and fixed them when they come up.
