Since we did paid campaigns and email campaigns, of course, engagement rates and open rates were important. But overall, the main goal was to get the measure passed.

Chatterkick has been helping us with rebranding, website redesign, and social media. We revamped our old-fashioned website. 
We had a person in charge of the website, and we worked with them on ideas, layouts, and graphics.

Since we’re a construction company, the main thing was how we could bring more eyes to our website. We had a group of people who met with Chatterkick to discuss our needs and what we were looking for. We wanted to maintain our history with the new branding.

They also manage our social media accounts. LinkedIn is the main platform, but we also use Facebook and Instagram. They've created the posts and sent them to me for approval. I've made whatever changes I've felt fit and then posted them. They've also kept track of social media interactions and managed the website's maintenance.

Olivia, their customer success specialist, is our main point of contact. She has a group working with her, including someone assigned to social media, another to graphics, and another teammate to web development, and one teammate creating posts for social media.

We’re part of a group of companies, and all four of us changed our image and remapped our websites. Our main boss, or the owner of the four companies, recommended we go to them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen better traffic on our website and heard from customers and employees that they enjoy seeing our branding and posts more often on social media. The quality of the work meets our expectations.

How did Chatterkick perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything has been done on time and within budget. They listen to us and are open to suggestions. They’ve brought a lot of ideas in front of us, and we’re pretty happy with their work.

We use Google Meet, and Sprout Social for sharing social media posts. We also have a shared file folder to share media and graphics. We use email and conference calls.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They've been really good at reaching out and always being helpful. The only thing they could probably grow in is understanding construction better. There was a time when they were strategizing as if they were selling marketing to a restaurant or someone else more in tune with marketing.

Don’t be afraid of giving ideas back to them. Be open to communication. They’re a good group of people willing to help your branding and company grow.

Chatterkick has redone our website using WordPress. They've designed and developed our website and are now helping us with social media posts. Initially, we met with them a lot to discuss what we wanted our website to look like. We gave them sample websites that we liked, and they came down and did some photoshoots and went to a few job sites. Chatterkick also met our team and interviewed them.

Additionally, we filled out paperwork to tell them what we wantd to represent through our website, what kind of company we are, and what our values are. They’ve dug into our company as a whole and what we want to portray to the public through our website and social media. They’re now running campaigns on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.

They had a really good presentation on what kind of services they could do for us. Although they weren't the least expensive, we felt comfortable and confident in them, so we proceeded with hiring them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve definitely seen an increase in numbers on our social media. The website just launched, so we don’t have those metrics yet, but the traffic to our social media site has gone up by a lot. In some cases, we’re getting a lot of interaction where we weren’t before, and it’s astronomical how much it’s gone up — about 500%.

They deliver on time and within budget and communicate well with us. If anything, we’ve held them up a little bit, but we wanted to make sure we got it right, and they had no problem with that. They’ve done a good job of making sure everything is right. We communicate via phone calls, emails, Zoom, and Sprout Social.

Olivia has done a really good job of coordinating the project, listening to our ideas, and creating content that portrays who we are.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We've tweaked several things and provided them with feedback, and Chatterkick has incorporated our comments very well.

I don’t have anything specific for them to improve on — they’ve done a good job.

Be open to their ideas because they’re very creative, and they’re the experts. Let them take the lead on it, but also make sure you continually try things. If you don’t like something, speak up, and they’ll rework it.

We needed someone to help us with our social media accounts and email marketing. We had a large following on social media and an email marketing list of 20,000 people, so we wanted to take that and develop clever and relevant materials for our readers. Overall, brand awareness was our main goal.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Chatterkick manages our social media accounts and runs our Meta, Google, and email marketing. When we got started with Chatterkick, we were leaving another agency with which we were unhappy. However, the onboarding process went smoothly. Chatterkick jumped on board from day one, got to know our business, and gave us some ideas on how we could grow our business using our social media and email marketing campaigns.

Additionally, they’ve created templates, done the design copywriting, and set up the accounts. They work on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.

We have four teammates: Kristy (Customer Experience Manager), Austin (Ad Strategist), Mary (Engagement Strategist), and Cody (Visual Content Specialist).

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I don’t have numbers off the top of my head, but we’ve been pleased with the reaction responses we’re getting through our social media accounts. We’re getting lots of clicks, likes, and shares, so Chatterkick has been successful. Their Google and Meta ads have been timely and well done. Moreover, they’ve brought good sales to our online retail accounts, such as Shopify and Amazon.

Chatterkick has exceeded our expectations. We’ve worked with a few other agencies, and Chatterkick’s content has been excellent for the amount they charge. Overall, everything has gone smoothly, and we’ve been happy with the campaigns they’ve made for us.

How did Chatterkick perform from a project management standpoint?

Chatterkick does everything according to our expectations, so everything has been on time and well done. The whole team has worked together seamlessly to make this process easy for us. All we have to do is jump online and approve their work; there’s rarely anything we need to come back to make corrections. If there’s ever a problem or comment, they’re quick to respond in a professional and engaging way.

Moreover, communication is incredible. We have regular meetings with the customer service manager. She emails us regularly if there are any questions, and we use a project management software called Sprout Social to go through our approval processes. Additionally, we use Microsoft Teams calls, phone calls, emails, and texts. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re creative, responsive, and easy to work with. They’ve done this so many times that they know exactly what we need before we need it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we haven’t come upon anything that needs improvement. We’ve needed more than expected, and Chatterkick has gone above and beyond in everything we’ve asked of them.

Communication is the way to begin with. Chatterkick makes it easy to communicate with their staff; we speak with every team member. Even if they're away, there’s a communication plan, so it’s easy to get things rolling.

The CHatterkick team provided monthly reports showing increases in many KPI metrics we defined at the start of the contract including total followers, page likes, and clicks to our digital properties. They even shared insights into other metrics like growth in the number of posts saved to help illustrate their impact.

Each social post was pre-scheduled and delivered on time with plenty of advance notice to offer feedback/revisions. Our monthly meetings were always adhered to and their team arrived with detailed reporting along with verbal insights to provide more granularity and impact.

They are very engaged and such great collaborators who listen to our goals and challenges and help us stay focused on strategy (which can be a challenge with a small startup). They dived right in and began to experience our product and courses as a team so they could understand it more intimately and then take those learning for messaging and social strategy.

Not at this time. We really like their pod approach to account management, appreciate their open and timely communication, and look forward to our monthly strategy sessions with them.
