I’m the CMO of AO Home. We’re an online seller of bespoke furniture. Because we’re solely an online business, we offer multiple shipping options, which was key while creating a concept for our e-commerce site.

We wanted an e-commerce platform that met our needs. From the reviews that we saw, we were interested in Magento.

They developed a Magento 2 e-commerce site for us. Based on our initial conversations with their team, Magento seemed like the way to go. They were integral in determining our process and direction for our platform.

They’re now providing ongoing support for the site. If there’s something that needs to be corrected, we can usually do that ad hoc. Since the project went live, we’ve been working with them to make general updates so we never stay static.

In our search for Magento developers, they gave an excellent presentation and showcased their experience working on similar development projects. Other agencies didn’t have the same, well-rounded knowledge that they did. They actively provided recommendations and suggestions, which sealed the deal for us.

The initial project cost about $25,000–$30,000. However, factoring in our ongoing support, the total has risen to about $40,000.

We started the work in early 2017, and our collaborations are ongoing.

I’m the managing director of Balcony UK & EasyFix Balustrades. We specialize in stainless steel module balustrade systems.

We wanted to improve traffic through our website and create more business opportunities. Our company hired Cefar to assist us with that goal. 

**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?

Cefar developed a bespoke system that specializes in the products we sell, such as glass balustrades or anything that requires a guarding or railing with any type of glass, wire, or bar. With this system, users can plot the dimensions of their space in 3D, and we receive that information as an email inquiry from the client. We provide quotes based on that information which then turns into a new lead.

While there are generic systems like this one in the market, Cefar specifically tailored our product to our needs. For example, they included details about our different types of balustrades within the interface. This system links to our website, where we sell parts and pieces and explain our design, building, and installation services.

Furthermore, we had a name change about a year ago, and Cefar assisted with the rebrand of the main company and the bespoke website linked to that. They also helped us with marketing.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with four people from their team. Cefar assigned a project manager that passes on the tasks to the designers and developers.

We were in the same managed company space that they were when we first set up.

The customization system is pretty new at the moment and we are still working on it. There are some tweaks that need to be made, but that is probably my fault rather than theirs. I would like to add to it to make it even better in the future.

How did Cefar perform from a project management standpoint?

Cefar does exactly what they say they’re going to. We mostly communicate through emails and conference calls, as well as meetings every now and then.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re an approachable team and we have a good relationship with them. I’m quite happy with Cefar.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could be a little more specific with their quotations, especially when discussing a personalized project like this one. Things were a little vague at times, and then we’d see an unexpected charge all of a sudden, but I think that it’s the same with everyone. I know it’s my fault as well for not being as specific.

Sometimes some of the details can get a little lost. We’ve asked for things at times that weren’t being done and had to end up going back to do a little bit of rework. However, Cefar is quite open to these issues and will address them accordingly.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be precise and specific. Clients must make sure that they are fully versed in what they want from the start so that it doesn’t come back and bite them in the end. Defining things clearly with Cefar is the best thing to do.

Ginetta is a British sports racing car company founded over 60 years ago. When we were given a brief to create a multi brand automotive site for Ginetta and the sub-brands which are owning the space of Motorsport in the UK (and across the Globe). We were briefed to merge the sub-brands onto the one Ginetta website, they wanted to ensure that the four brands kept their identity as leaders in their own spaces whilst ensuring that there is increased brand awareness and improving the customer journey and experience.
THE DELIVERABLES
When the client came to us to ensure that there is an alignment across all automotive brands under one digital roof, we ensured that Ginetta and the sub-brands continued to be shown as the leading automotive brand with an unrivalled offering. ### London Underground API Software Development
Our process involved a meticulous approach to ensure the API's effectiveness and userfriendliness. We started with a comprehensive analysis of user needs and travel patterns. Collaborative efforts were made in designing an intuitive interface, and the development phase incorporated agile methodologies to ensure flexibility and responsiveness to user feedback.
 
We prioritised data accuracy, employing robust algorithms to fetch and update real-time information. The design was kept modular, allowing for future expansions and updates to accommodate the dynamic nature of the London Underground system.


### Approved Workforce - Web Design & Development
Approved Workforce are suppliers of temporary contract labour to the Construction Industry, through specialist divisions. They approached us last year with an all-encompassing brief. We were tasked with a full rebrand, from the core identity all the way through to the website.
The new, modernised wordmark features an extended stem and is a nod to the previous logo which saw the workmark in a slanted, outlined box to give the appearance of a stamp.
We created custom icons that are used throughout the website whilst Sofia Pro was chosen as the primary typeface.
The website, whilst explaining who Approved Workforce are and what they do, showcases the latest projects, services and current vacancies.

So when they needed a new website, they knew who to call.
THE BRIEF
Eatons had thought long and hard about the kind of website they wanted before giving us the brief.
Naturally, it needed to encompass all of their business areas from commercial property law to wills and inheritance, and everything in between. It also had to capture the personal nature of the service they provide as well as being easy and intuitive for visitors to navigate.
Equally important were the CMS aspects of the site. It was their vision that, as soon as the site was up and running, they could take almost total control of it with the ability to add or take away content whether this was text, images or even videos.
Also to be considered was the all-important element of SEO. In their highly competitive sector in which most searches for legal advice begin with Google, appearing high, if not top, in the rankings is essential.
OUR SOLUTION
Working closely with Eatons, as we've always done, we went through the standard development process for any website from producing a site map and wireframes, to development and, finally, testing before the full roll out.
Two elements that were particularly important were the need for the website to be managed internally after launch and the other was that it had to be super-secure.
So our developers built these in these elements from the outset, working in unison with designers to ensure the site looked professional and attractive as well as offering total usability

In short, the website fulfils many purposes from being an important vehicle for branding, providing information about Eatons' services, and, crucially, for lead conversion too.

So we were tasked with devising a compelling solution that would capture the essence of the brand and be as appealing and inspiring to potential apprentices and employers alike.

The brief was to present Sentient as a modern, leading-edge business that is also a trusted advisor.
The Solution
Following a period of in-depth research and collaboration with the client, we developed a comprehensive online and offline marketing plan. As a result, we developed a new look and feel for Sentient to present a more modern and relevant image for the business and then rolled it out across a number of areas. This included refreshing the website as well as designing everything from letterheads to business cards using the new style. We also instigated social media campaigns and created a series of blogs covering timely and relevant subjects.
As well as doing this, we also took over the maintenance of the CMS system on the Sentient website and continue to do this on an ongoing basis.

THE BRIEF
BBAS were using various off-the-shelf applications to run their business. They wanted to engage with a company to provide a bespoke solution tailored to their requirements.
THE SOLUTION
The website was designed with a simplicity that is attractive yet functional, showcasing all their products in a way that aligns with the brand identity. The website displays their product and offerings in a stylish way. A carousel of images was incorporated on the Home Page so that users would be welcomed to the website by being given a taster of BBAS offers, emphasising the character of the website and culture of the company.
A big part of this project was to initially integrate the website with various external management system's they used. This meant the website would update in real-time when changes are made through the off-site salesforce.
The second phase of the website project was to adapt the website to an ecommerce website where we expanded on the user journey and engagement with strong functionality providing website visitors with the best experience of the BBAS brand's product and long term offering.
A sophisticated management system with dashboards, workflow and reports is currently being developed.

### Invicta Software cyber Software Website Design
Overview
Invicta Software is dedicated to transforming IT Service Management (ITSM) around the world. With over 10 years plus exsprience, Invicta Software now operates in 72 countries globally. Their systems enable users to log IT and general issues seamlessly, allowing management teams to resolve problems efficiently from a single, centralised platform.
The Problem
While the cyber security industry is extremely regulated and complex, Invicta Software was challenged by technical dependencies and poor user experience within organisations. Although Invicta Software is a technology company, their focus was on its technology platform. They needed to also focus on creating a digital transformation to improve engagement.
While their website was good, they needed a website that could be used to promote them as a company, showcase their technology, and generate leads to ensure future growth.
The Solution
The website needed to retain strong brand consistency and consider the user journey to showcase Invicta Software's own platforms. We delivered a premium experience through interactive elements. 
The website was custom-built and provided Invicta Software 
with the with the opportunity to continually manage and update contacts internally.
The website is simplistic, which is designed intentionally as a way to convey the easy-to-use nature of the Invicta Software platform. It also demonstrates the product and its benefits while appealing to audiences globally.
 


### Este Couture - Branding, Web Design & Development
so, knowing our main objectives and what we wanted to focus on, how did we translate that into an improved new site? We leaned heavily on our in-house designers to come up with a wire frame to start, and then put it into action. We kept some of the ideas of the old site: an image carousel with quick, easy access to the main sub pages, but in this case we tucked the main menu away and emphasised the 3 core services straight away. These links are independent of the image carousel, so that users can always interact with them, and with the main menu tucked away they don't have to worry about other options until or unless they're looking for something more specific.
This means that new customers are immediately shown the main focus of Este Couture, and where to find more information.
Customers who have visited the site before don't have to use the carousel to find the link they're looking for, and also have access to a more detailed menu which doesn't need to take up valuable space on the front page to include every available option.
You'll also see that we inverted the core background colour from black to white. While black definitely conveyed style and elegance, white did so just as much, while also making the site seem lighter, more open and more approachable. Even while some elements take up the same amount of space, the white background gives the appearance of openness that makes the whole site seem less cramped.

There were a number of objectives that were outlined in the brief that would need to be met, with four in particular that were top of the list.
Accurate Reporting
The prime objective, as with all project management systems was to provide a simple and efficient method of accurate reporting for every aspect of the business ranging from work carried out to schedules of future visits.
Simple Interface
Ease of use was also critical with use of dashboards to make information easy to see and absorb including level of urgency for particular jobs. .
Automated updates
As data was inputted, it would need to update the whole system automatically whether it is a job sheet being added or an invoice being issued.

Overall, the objective was to create a holistic system that could join the different elements of the business, along with clients, with an end-to-end tool.

We were given a brief to design the brand identity, website and social media strategy for Plug-in Therapy, a start up counselling and therapy service. The brand focuses on mental wellbeing as a whole and we wanted the brand to reflect that. Using neutral, natural colours, friendly imagery featuring earth and terracotta tones, and by using simple information and clear user journeys, we created a website and identity that is both calming and inviting. The website is informative and provides clients with everything they need to know before booking a consultation

When the client came to us, it was clear that they have a focus and expertise with counselling and therapy services, and we wanted to create a brand identity and website to ensure that this message was conveyed throughout. So, starting with their brand identity, including the logo, colour palette, typography and other visual elements, this includes neutral and calming tones. Following the themes, we wanted to ensure that their website was calming but informative, ensuring a focus on the user journey. Ensuring that the client has everything they need to book a consultation, we created a website and identity which is inviting.
