The project progressed incrementally. We had multiple rounds of migrated data & then quality assurance. Key deliverable was the migrated data. Key technologies were Shopify, Woocommerce and Wordpress.

There was a single point of contact. Behind the scenes one backend person also worked on the project.

The data we wanted to migrate was migrated. Cart Blender was very responsive to the changes we requested during the project.

Cart Blender reacted very well on the changes we requested during the project and they fixed all the issues we found on the quality assurance phase.

Sometimes the email response times could have been faster - both on our side and on the supplier side.

We partnered with Cart Blender to support our migration from Magento to Shopify and the experience was overwhelmingly positive.

Our setup was far from straightforward - Magento allows total freedom and we operated a complex B2B/B2C model with graded stores, layered pricing and multiple customer types. From the outset, Paul guided us through the options with clarity and honesty... he also understood how we did business which was very important. I always felt properly consulted at every step. Every decision felt considered and collaborative.

In fact, the team almost cared too much. At one stage, they were meticulously replicating elements of our old Magento site that we ultimately decided weren’t necessary - a testament to their thoroughness and attention to detail.

While the project did fall slightly behind schedule, Paul owned it immediately and laid out a clear recovery plan to regain momentum.

We now have a premium-looking Shopify store that better reflects our brand and most importantly, improved conversion rates :) which is what every retailer wants!

Even two months after completion, Paul responded promptly to a follow-up request for support. It was that which prompted me to write this review. That level of ongoing care speaks volumes.

The migration went very well, including all existing and past orders, variables and option sets, and the majority of the products.

I would say that the timeline was acceptable but was a bit longer than initially expected—nothing major, perhaps just a few extra weeks.

I really appreciated the level of communication from Taras, who was in charge of our project. He was very knowledgeable and his emails were always very detailed and informative. I always felt like I understood what was happening and what was next.

I would say that, at times, it seems like they have a high volume of work, and perhaps they do have brief moments of radio silence. Again, this is very minor, but if I had to pick something that they could improve, it would be a scheduled timeline.

The project was supposed to be a simpler task, but ended up becoming more complex and demanding much more time than predicted. The team managed to migrate the store in due time. After migration, many changes incurred that were delivered promptly.

Communication with the representative was relatively easy and efficient. Most project goals were addressed in a timely manner and deadlines were met. If there was any issue afterwards, it was quickly resolved and nothing was left unfinished.

The creativity and initiative was far beyond other teams that I have worked with and we have managed to create a roadmap and follow it through, step by step. Also, the patience they showed was a big plus, being able to always fix any unforeseen issue.

Given the situation I believe the team was very responsive and worker well on the project. However, a bit more attention to detail would round up their otherwise good work ethic and creativity that they displayed along the whole time.

The site works great, looks good, fast, the design is at my request. The website translation is excellent and straight to the right.

We talked through WhatsApp mostly. The answer is usually quick and easy. There was a bit of a delay in submitting the proxy caused by the Russia Ukraine war, a bit of a delay from our side. All in all, it was perfectly fine and Taras was determined to finish the project and encouraged us to respond and be ready to go live
