They have assigned one of their Operations Mangers, and she has two team leads that report directly to her. Each team lead has about 4-7 team members that work directly on our campaign across various communication channels.

We have set a target of a certain number of new meetings each week, with clients who meet a certain criteria. We started out with one campaign and have since double that, and are negotiating adding a third Callbox team now.

The owner took a call from a sales rep and they sold the company well. Then we spent a ton of money and got next to nothing. I would set more of my own appointments in a month then the entire team at Callbox.

There were also a team of other individuals that were connecting and working on setting appointments via linkedIn and other social media. Jesper and Faith. I would get an email with the stats on Tuesday and then they would read those to me on Wednesday....

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the service?
This was a waste of time and money for Metropark. Should have a very easy project for the Callbox team and we received less than what was promised. We were promised around 2-6 leads a week and maybe received that per month if we were lucky. Then of those leads, most all were phone calls and not in person, and then they would not answer the phone.

Not sure there was any.... The initial start was managed to ensure that all monies went thru from Metropark, but then I'm not sure if much work was actually done. There was even a few numbers of ours we added to the lists and they were NEVER called...
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Cant say there is anything that I find unique outside of all the money needing to be paid up front. Will never do that again....
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I'm not a lead generation firm, that is not my call. That is why we paid you. I know that speaking more clearly and not reading from a script (that sounds like the first time you have ever read it) is not helpful to get people to keep talking to you. In April 2021, I was walking your callers thru how to talk on the phone... That is embarrassing.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of sales and marketing for two different organizations.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Callbox?
We were looking for them to be an alternative to hiring full-time sales representatives, as well as looking to ramp up our account-based marketing strategies.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
One of the services I offer is lead generation, so by partnering with Callbox, I was able to scale my team and deliver a larger number of set appointments per month. First, I provided a list of criteria, and then they went away to create a tailored plan (scripts, etc.), which I approved. After that, I stared receiving work immediately.
What is the team composition?
Katrina, an account manager, is our main point of contact. I mostly associate with her. Of course, inside the team there’s a number of folks that help assist us, including a number of cold callers that will be scheduling appointments. I’m not in touch with those resources but they support the initiative well.
How did you come to work with Callbox?
I was doing some research and came across their LinkedIn page, and one of their people actually messaged me. I enjoyed their account-based marketing approach to the project because it aligned with what I was trying to accomplish: building a multi-channel touchpoint that targets customers on LinkedIn for emailing and cold calling. I wanted to understand how they went about their process.
I spoke with them a number of times before moving forward with them, dating back a year and a half before this engagement began.
How much have you invested with them?
We’re going to spend around $25,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since April 2022.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Even though we just started a few days ago, we’re going to have a mix of very specialized metrics and very basic metrics, depending on the end-client I’m leveraging them for.
How did Callbox perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re fairly responsive. Located in the US in California, they’re only three hours behind me. I speak to them over Zoom and email. It doesn’t take more than five minutes for them to respond.
What did you find most impressive about them?
One of their major advantages is that they’re a unique service. If you’re a small company and need to build your sales team or marketing department, then they’re a great team. Filling the role of three positions —head of marketing, and head of business development, and head of sales development — they are a more effective avenue than hiring three full-staff employees.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not yet. They do everything but close the business; you have to pick it up off your doorstep and handle that part.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
This would depend on the persons business model, but say if you’re a small company with 10–20 employees and are looking for a way to ramp us sales. They’re a good, solid choice.

Callbox reaches out to leads and sets up appointments for our sales team to follow up on.
The Callbox team communicates closely with our sales team to determine how an appointment went (for rescheduling purposes) and if there are any areas of improvement.
