I am the digital marketing specialist for LM Cigars and I run our website, social media platforms and our email marketing campaigns.

For what projects/services did your company hire CadenceSEO, and what were your goals?

Improvement of SEO and SERP rankings, cleaning up the back end of our website to increase speed and customer usability and functionality.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We chose them because we were given a great offer and a great team to work with that connected with us well and were very responsive to helping us. They have had great results in the past and knew what to do to help us improve.

We gave them a list of keywords and our competitors and gave them access to our analytics, our website, and Google Search Console and they went to work on a detailed audit of our site. They created a Google Sheet that was filled with our keywords, the rankings of those keywords, striking distance, content topics for blog posts, page optimization suggestions. We worked together over the 3 months to collaborate and edit the blog topics their team wrote for us.

They implemented all of the blogs they created for us after our edits. They were HIGHLY responsive to our edits and always made themselves available even when dealing with a time zone difference. They optimized existing pages on our website to help the user have a better experience. They cleaned up the back end of our website and increased our page speed tremendously. They taught us how to maintain the incredible progress and work they completed on our site.

They cleaned up all of our 404s. They fixed our h1,h2, and h3 headers. They performed link building, backlinks and internal linking. They gave us insight and strategy ideas that we able to implement in the last month after they were able clean up our site.

We worked with Jace mainly and Kevin in the beginning, and end alongside Jace. Jace was our account manager and was an absolute delight to work with.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our website speed has increased tremendously. Our website traffic has doubled, our revenue has increased by 30% from organic traffic, our users and new users have doubled.

They were great with managing our expectations, guiding us to what they suggest, listening to our ideas and adjusting when needed. They met deadlines and we kept up with their asks and to-do's in a timely manner. I communicated with Jace on a weekly basis via email and then had virtual meetings every other week to go over any questions, strategy, updates, and next steps.

Jace was very quick to respond to all of my emails and last minutes asks needed. We were given great presentations about their updates that we could share with our team. They had a Google Sheets document that we all would use to stay up to date with what they were doing and could respond and work in the document to communicate and approve tasks efficiently.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their willingness to help and improve our site with their SEO knowledge and to help us grow was impeccable. They did their research and learned about our industry fairly quickly. They always had updates when we met for meetings and visuals to support their work and words. Their team was very responsive and had answers when we needed them. Jace was always available when needed and if there was something he didn't know, he was quick to reach out to his team to get me an answer.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't think of any at the moment. They were great. I hope our company sees long-term growth from their work so we can bring them back to continue more of their great ideas. We wish we had more time with our company budget.

Primarily, we've worked with three individuals from CadenceSEO - content writers and an account manager.
