I'm the CEO of Oxford Mindfulness Foundation, a nonprofit organization. We help people achieve greater well-being and improved mental health through research-based mindfulness and meditation.

What challenge were you trying to address with Brandefy?

We were building an app and required recordings for the self-paced course element. We needed high-quality video content, smooth transitions, voice overlay, graphics, and animations, all on-brand.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Brandefy worked with us to plan the recordings and review the scripts. They scheduled the recording time and arranged the venue and the team to record the footage.

Then, they edited and made all the necessary amendments to get the final training video perfectly paced and on-brand with high-quality graphics and animations.

They focused on matching the voice timings to the animations, pacing of the speaker, quality and smooth transitions from one video to the next.
The project duration was our pace, not theirs. They could have moved quicker, but we needed more time on our end.  After the first project, we have worked with them again on a similar project for the UN.

What is the status of this engagement?

This project was in 2024 and took about six months. The project finished in September 2024.  The second project was delivered in January–February 2025. It was also expertly delivered.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The delivery of an excellent quality self-paced course was a measurable outcome. Various speakers were recorded in multiple locations, which Brandefy handled. The actual videos were the outputs, and they were delivered on time in a format that was ideal for the app and the United Nations intranet. The feedback from users and stakeholders regarding the quality of the videos was excellent.

How did Brandefy perform from a project management standpoint?

Marton was so easy to work with, always available, happy to make edits, and ensured we got exactly what we wanted. We primarily communicated via email and Zoom calls.

They were very attentive and available during the first project, and the second project was also expertly delivered.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Brandefy's attention to detail was impressive. They picked up on things we had not noticed that could be improved. They were always available to talk if there were any queries.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, no. They were very good, and I have recommended them to others after these two projects with them.

We searched for video production companies in SoCal that could turn around our project in a short timeline. We were very impressed with our initial meeting with the Brandefy team.

We worked with an Executive Producer and an Editor. We had frequent video calls to review feedback and we were able to leave comments directly on new edits.

We use this reel in our media kit that we share with clients.

We communicated primarily over email, and response time was very prompt and professional. The EP would send up new edits on Vimeo, where we could leave comments/feedback directly.

The editor joined a couple calls to where we were able to deliver feedback directly to him and work a bit more efficiently.
