Project Overview:

1. Website Development (Gutmann): Full-stack design and development of a responsive, multi-language corporate website, including UX/UI design, front-end and back-end implementation, content management system integration, performance optimization, and QA testing.
2. AR/VR Infrastructure: Architected and deployed AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality) modules to enhance our digital presentation, including 3D modeling, interactive experiences, and mobile compatibility.

Our experience with Black Ink Agency was overwhelmingly positive, and the team consistently delivered high-quality results. If there is one area for potential enhancement, it would be to further formalize documentation at each stage, especially during rapid iterations or parallel workstreams.

While their agile approach and real-time updates via Slack and Figma worked very well, having more checkpoint reports could further streamline internal alignment—especially for projects involving multiple stakeholders.

That said, this is a minor point and did not affect the success of the project. The team remained flexible, responsive, and committed throughout.

I’m the general manager at New Dimension Trading. We provide motion capture and hologram solutions for the commercial sector. We have motion capture suits and helmets and are the distributor for these products in the Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council countries as well.

Black Ink Agency built and designed our website from scratch. In the beginning, we met with them several times, explaining to them our requirements. Once they understood everything, they proceeded with the development and design process while providing their own ideas along the way. They also worked on the content and copywriting for the website.

The website showcased the brands that we wanted to introduce for motion capture purposes and hologram solutions. This included gloves, bodysuits, and helmets.

I was mostly in contact with 2–3 people from their side, including their production manager and lead designer.

It’s really hard to find companies that can understand what you need and have a diverse-enough mindset to meet all of your requirements. That being said, we really enjoyed working with Black Ink Agency because they did a great job of understanding and meeting our needs and delivering the project quickly.

They were amazingly organized, very punctual, and passionate. They executed our project in such a professional way. We saw them working at all times of the day, sending emails and working together to accomplish each task. We used Zoom and Microsoft Teams for communication.

We were impressed with their creativity and commitment to delivering the project on time. They were also very helpful — their team did things that were beyond the scope of the project.

No, we were very satisfied with their work. If we needed any modifications, we could just reach out to them anytime.

Black Ink provides us with branding services. The team was with me during the pitching deck phase and prepared me to pitch to investors when the brand had a different name. At that stage, they created a company profile pitch, website branding, and packaging. The team also helped us with design and copywriting. 

They designed and developed our website. I gave them the images, some of the copy, and our vision, and they put the site together with our color scheme. The team also integrated the payment gateway. Additionally, Black Ink has supervised photoshoots for our social media. So far, they’ve worked with three of my brands.

We started working together in October 2016. Although we paused for a time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Black Ink is the best; they’re easy to work with and have done everything right. I’ve worked with different agencies worldwide, and I have no complaints about Black Ink, which is rare. They’ve even traveled with me, taking meetings in China and collaborating with my Morocco and Hong Kong suppliers. In all instances, they’ve managed perfectly, and the trips have gone really well. 

The team is patient, and they always listen. They don’t mind doing the same thing again if we’re dissatisfied with anything. Moreover, they work fast, and they go the extra mile. The team also has an amazing personality — Black Ink has everything.

Black Ink’s incredible service distinguishes them from other providers. They’re so detailed and specific that they make me feel like I’m their only client. I can call them at any time, and they will find a solution. Their quality is also outstanding, and they’re time-efficient.

First of all, focus on quality beyond anything. Sometimes you can find cheaper providers, but you end up paying more in the long term. Details matter, like how the website moves and reacts and the UX, and Black Ink looks at things like that. They can go into detail and make something very special.
