Everyone on the team has always been more than willing to educate us or take the time to explain anything they're doing. There are quite a few of us who have 0 background in marketing and the ATTN team has always been kind and patient helping us learn anything we need.

Our content is performing better now than at the onset. We're able to create more content than we ever have. Our emails are looking better and we have better visualization of the email and SMS strategies and planning. Our website has undergone changes at the request of ATTN that have been helpful.

ATTN's project management is excellent, they deliver on time, although it can be a challenge with the time difference and some deliverables arrive after our working hours complete for the day. The team has always been very receptive to our needs and has always been willing to help us with anything we need.

ATTN has been the best marketing team we've ever worked with. The team is comprised of individuals who are skilled in their specific marketing niches and are very passionate about the work they do. They have all been very personable and kind. ATTN is always striving to better itself as a company while also striving to provide the best services and results for its clients. The most unique aspect of this company is the perfect balance of expertise, drive, and genuine friendliness, which is a rare commodity.

Are there any areas for improvement or something ATTN Agency could have done differently?

ATTN like any company that is growing is learning how to be better and help their clients be better. After working with us this last year, I think they have a better understanding of how to serve their clients who do not have any in-house marketing members and have learned how to ensure that their clients have everything in place before the holiday season. These items might be obvious to a marketing agency but were completely overlooked by a client who has little to no marketing experience. I would like to have a check-list of the "must haves" before large sales periods.

ATTN Agency in the way they operate the agencies, and the nature of the brands they work with, fit perfectly in our company values and ICP. It's easy to measure from our end how much of an impact ATTN Agency has had on Triple Whale based on the shear volume of deals, and the ability for them to retain a high % of those clients versus other agencies I speak to everyday. 

With over 20 happy ATTN Agency clients using Triple Whale, and multiple case studies and events scheduled together, its been a very organic and fruitful relationship from our point of view

Always quick to respond, on top of every action item, and you can feel through the Zoom call, or through Slack, how hard these guys work. All their employees were highly professional. You don't feel like you're speaking to anyone junior. Everyone feels like they have the experience and drive help Triple Whale with anything they need. 

The due diligence that this team does is what stands out the most. ATTN Agency's clients pay a lot of money to use Triple Whale, and they make sure they get everything they can out of it. And it doesn't come across agressive either, they are just super keen to getting the core of the issue or question and making sure they and their client will have full understanding of the implications.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We give them one and a half stars. We were excited to embark on our Journey with Attn in August 2022 after a very nice referral- (the referral was not to our knowledge a client of Attn).

Our first web meet was with Bobby. He took our call in an outfit in my opinion one might wear if you didn’t plan to leave the house for the week. There were kids screaming in the back ground. He would jump from a room to a hallway to another room. We were constantly getting paused while he dealt with distractions. We kind of chalked it up as this modern day tech vibe situation. You work from home… who knows. It’s a different world we live in.

We went thru our meeting - Bobby told us all about his strategy and his offerings. About their successes and his excitement to work with our brand. He emphasized the importance of reporting and value props. Etc. He drove home the point that we need to spend at least 50k a month to make any sort of progress on Facebook. Everything sounded pretty good to us. We proceeded forward with Attn.

Immediately within the first month we noticed reporting was grossly off. During our weekly calls we would review reports with Attn. We noticed some major discrepancies with reporting and made it very clear to Attn numbers were not matching. Socials reporting would show almost double what our actual books were showing for revenue generated from ads. We noticed sales started to drop. Also we had a huge hunch our existing customers were being targeted instead of new ones.

Of course this reporting discrepancy is a Major Major issue as one might assume an ad is doing much better than it really is. We made it clear to Attn there was a reporting issue. They offered their in-house service to audit all reporting systems and identify the bug -as they agreed there was indeed an issue.

After the audit they were unable to find the bug!! Yet they strongly suggested that we increase our budget regardless. Interestingly enough that budget was above their tier one commission threshold.

Hmmm I’ll admit he got us very pumped up in the beginning. After we signed Bobby punted us off to a project manager. We felt she was argumentative, didn’t care for changes we wanted to make, and overall didn’t understand us. The creatives that were made for us were not close to our standards. When we presented changes or issues we had with deliverables it always seemed like they were attempting to sell us on why certain changes shouldn’t be made. Tbh we just weren’t impressed.

So here’s the most revealing behavior imo! After unsuccessfully auditing our reporting - they hit us with a bill that was higher than expressed and check this out… charged us to read our emails!!! To the tune of $150 per email!!!!! I have never in all of my experience been charged by a marketing agency to read my emails.

I will never recommend that anyone from our network do business with this company. I get it this may be ok for large companies with a ten million dollar budget and who cares if they charge to read emails- but us. Ya no… hard pass.

We had weekly meetings. Wasn’t very stoked. It was not productive in our opinion

I was most impressed by their attempts to charge us to read our emails to the tune of $150 per email.

Attitude, transparency, pricing, be less argumentative, do what’s best for the company - not what’s best for your pocketbook.

Our overall site ROAS started at 0.9, and now it's up to 2.4. They’ve also brought our CPM (cost per mille) down from $13 to around $5–$6. This season, they managed a really successful holiday campaign and helped us set up an email lead generation funnel, which has probably tripled our email list since we started working with them. They also got us migrated over to Sabio, which has been a hugely beneficial integration for us.

How did ATTN Agency perform from a project management standpoint?

ATTN Agency has performed well in terms of project management. They’re extremely responsive to any communication or need that I might have. They usually respond within an hour during working hours. There was never really any time when I felt they dropped the ball. Similarly, there were times when I had to face them on stuff or had criticisms of stuff at the beginning when we were learning what each other's working strategies were, and they were super receptive to my suggestions and worked with me to tailor their strategy to our needs as a brand, which was pretty unique.

What did you find most impressive about them?

ATTN Agency’s strengths are their communication, versatility, and creativity. There are times when they almost function like a consultancy for us, where they make suggestions for things that we can do to improve our overall business.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we’re incredibly satisfied with their work. I would say that they’ve undersold and overdelivered.

Make sure to communicate clearly and honestly what your needs are and to be willing to try the things that they suggest.

ATTN helped us launch a new campaign. We changed our digital marketing plan, and we raffled one of our cars, and every $1 purchase entitles our customers to one raffle entry.

They advised us about email, SMS, and social media best practices. They also connected us with a specialist for anything that we needed help with. Their specialists then gave us guidance on our various needs.

ATTN also helped us with our paid ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. We provided them with the content, and they checked the placement and targeting. Additionally, they’ve added backend links for tracking and ensured links were working correctly. However, ATTN’s role was only advisory, and I was still the one who posted our content and ads.

ATTN could have provided better examples when discussing strategies. They mentioned competitors in our area on a lot of their advice. However, half of the time, we didn’t have any concrete examples to compare.

Additionally, whenever we asked for a quote, the final price always increased as we got more into details. We weren’t able to completely trust their initial quotes.
