I'm the owner of Solar Tutiion, which provides science and maths tuition. I am also the primary tutor.

I had struggled to design a website that looked professional, no matter how hard I tried. Also SEO, google's various interfaces and the endless problems made me realise I needed a team of professionals - each with their own area of expertise. I had tried freelancers but it was still up to me to take the lead, and understand too much. i wanted an agency to manage the whole branding to rollout and SEO for me - keeping me involved throughout.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I spend literally hundreds of hours compiling detailed information on reviews from every source, looking at the reviews and trying to see the websites. I did this for so many companies, often spending 16 hours a day relentlessly checking. So many companies had poor reviews - websites with basic errors in the written content, performance or content that wasn't even responsive (auto-resizing), I could go on. This wasn't just the websites they had built for others, but often their own websites! You never can be sure, but Atomic Digital Marketing had a well presented website, and an excellent showcase of previous work, fantastic reviews with websites that checked out.

I wanted a branding project done - logo and colour schemes - I had chosen the domain name and company name already. I then wanted a fast loading, SEO built in from the start/design phase, website designed. I wanted it to look professional and elicit trust. I wanted custom designed pages for the main ones, with the designs repeated on similar pages but with different content (the subject pages). And then all the others such as T&Cs etc.

4 were involved in the initial discussions and quotes, from sales, admin, SEO and marketing. I had some very in depth questions, and the founder actually took time to call me from home to discuss allmy concerns in detail, and not just gloss over them - but provide actual answers that made logical sense to me. This really helped build trust. For the branding and design I worked with a manager who coordinated designers of logos, webpages, and now content writers, UX experts and designers who are working together to make sure the pages contain the right information beautifully presented.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The first deliverable was the logo, and my ideas that I had were really hard to bring to life. The designer though did an amazing job, and produced 3 designs. One was particularly clever. However I am no designer, and when I asked to see what they would have done instead, theirs were so much better! The home page however was the real wow moment, and seeing the home page mock up was fantastic. I had built my home page and my home page sucks! The one they had mocked up looks amazing. Some of the unique touches were great. There were 3 versions, and I chose bits of all 3, and they produced a final version that is stunning.

Very friendly when on zoom calls, and same day response (often within an hour or two). The calls are never rushed - not even slightly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The first 3 home page designs. I will never forget seeing them for the first time. And the web design manager has been amazing.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

VAT included in all the pricing up front, or at least mentioned in brackets after the VAT free cost.

We worked with a small team of less than 5 contacts from junior developers up to the company founders. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and most importantly to us, accessible

Our project is ongoing but we are pleased with the progress. We are smarter for having worked with Atomic. They provide ongoing knowledge transfer and go beyond merely explaining what they do but why it will be of value. We've also learned how to develop further.

Very. Every ticket raised got full and immediate attention

initially we were drawn to their knowledge, we wanted to be challenged on our strategy and invited new ideas and concepts. Throughout the process we've learned more about digital marketing and been able to define what good looks like.

I based this on my previous client who also used Atomic Digital Marketing to optimize their store. It shows promising result so we decided to push through.

Simply put: We contacted them via their website, had a few back-and-forth email about the goals and cost. After a few weeks, boom! Just like magic. We got what we needed.

We've only recently got our optimized store. We don't have enough data to support if it helped with conversion. However, our scores in Google and GTMetrics did show very outstanding scores! Which is what our main goal is.

We used email for this one as it's just a small project.

They were super approachable. I really do hope they keep it that way. Most of the companies we approached before had their head so big we can't reach them. The team's website optimization skills are top-notch.

We'll see in the future as soon as huge project takes place.

They are a passionate and hard working company with a lot of experience with digital marketing across many sectors.

Their strategies work (as can be seen by the significant upswing in our conversions) and they have plenty more ideas in the pipeline for further improvement.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Immediate feedback from Society members that the website looks good and professional. With the new CRM system, despite minor hiccups due to the legacy way of membership management, we saw an increase in the number of members. The CRM system has also simplified administration from our end especially the Society is run by volunteers who also have other full-time jobs.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Communications are often done through emails, phone or skype. Relevant spreadsheets are also created to record work requests.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We're impressed by their responsiveness to queries and willingness to work.

Perhaps a little bit proactivity in recommending solutions that are of importance to ensure everything goes smoothly.
