Our entire AI system was upgraded and our web app was redesigned in the project.

Acquaint Softtech repackaged our detection model. They introduced an improved tagging system and sorted out thousands of pictures which we had collected. They also developed a training pipeline that is able to identify dents, odd lines on the chassis and light reflections revealing previous repairs.

An incident we can recall is when we had sent them car pictures at night of a weakly lit parking area. We considered that the model would not work. Instead, the team enhanced the preprocessing pipeline to the extent that the AI was also able to extract the shape of the car even in low-light scenarios. It was a great breakthrough to us.

At the web front they redefined the entire user experience. The novel platform will allow its users to take a picture on their phone and send it to the model and receive a fast list of the potential issues. They further put in place the other concepts we had not considered like a brief explanation of how sure the AI is, so users can understand why a particular component was flagged.

We did not follow specific figures on Clutch, but we noticed some definite improvements. Indicatively, those users who experimented with the system within the company started to have more confidence in it, particularly when it indicated minor flaws they had not noticed.

There were also instances when the AI did not comprehend strange car angles and this was something that would irritate us previously. The support team told us that users are no longer calling us complaining of ambiguous results. It is an indication that the platform is getting more stable and reliable.

They handled the project on a regular basis and collaborated with us. They were sending short messages, quick calls and sharing of screens rather than long documents and this helped in making communication easier.

They did not force us to adhere to strict rules; they corresponded to our kind of working. They were punctual and where additional time was necessary, they justified their actions.

The thing we found the most impressive is that they attempted to get the context of the technology as much as possible. Should the AI respond differently once a photo has been taken inside a house? They were willing to address real issues and this made the end product seem more helpful in real-life scenarios.

The other unique feature was that they continued to test themselves on the platform. Some times they would send us pictures of cars they scanned, even of random cars at the side of the office, just to demonstrate how the model operated in varying circumstances.

First, they created the design and shared it with us. After we reviewed it and made a few changes, Acquaint Softtech Private Limited started the development process. After development, they worked on testing as well. We also did testing from our end and after the website went live.

We didn’t have detailed information about the technologies they used. The one technology we heard about during the development process was PHP. Additionally, Acquaint Softtech Private Limited helped us with SEO, including keyword research and optimization.

After launching the new site, we immediately began receiving more direct inquiries from both potential Dish customers and new sales reps.
