Technocrat Institute of Engineering and Design (TIED) is a certified institute that was established in 2011. I am a partner with this institute that provides industry-centric training. It is involved in both types of training methods offline and online.
The main aim of my institute is to train people with the special skills that are necessary for their respective fields. We train people for all engineering disciplines like Chemical, Pharma, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Water Treatment, Solar, Power, and many more.

We chose Acquaint Softtech to help us with the development of a website and software solution to automate several processes. We took the process of developing the optimal solution ourselves first. However, we came across several issues while integrating the 'online teaching/meeting tool'. It was then decided we hire the professionals for this task and contacted Acquaint Softtech.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We took to the Internet to find suitable development firms. Our criteria for selection included inspecting the portfolio, verifying skill level, project time and cost, and several others. Our extensive search resulted in many hits which we then narrowed down to 5 and finally shortlisted 2 with Acquaint as our second option. We chose Acquaint Softtech after having a bad experience with the first firm we had shortlisted; they lacked development and communications skills.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The main requirement for our website besides designing a stunning UI/UX interface was to develop an informative website for students to gain detailed information on the courses we have to offer. It was also to include a customized administrative section for the admin users to manage the website, students, and courses. Some of the other features included designing a video class module to allow multiple students to join a class with proper authorization.
The students were also to have access to download course material including lectures. The project also included developing software for internal use to manage the students and course. Some of the major milestones of the project: 1. Website & software interface 2. Common website features 3. Video class module 4. Custom admin panel 5. Internal software features Main technologies used in the project: WordPress Core PHP

Acquaint Softtech developed a top-notch website and software application for us. It was highly interactive and easy to use. We have received good feedback from our students too for the online teaching solution they developed for us. The software solution was also developed well and had a low learning curve which was useful especially since we have a non-technical staff.

Their technical expertise, communication, and ability to stick to deadlines is quite impressive. There were some issues with the acceptance of the requirements to start with however, once we were past this stage they delivered the complete set of functionality in a good quality software & website.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The final project acceptance stage took slightly longer than we expected due to several issues with the requirements matching and minor bugs.
