What was the scope of their involvement?
For our website, 1o8 updated the platform and added our store locator. Through the backend, they optimized the content to help with SEO. We didn’t have a previous SEO strategy before working with them. Their team has been working on our paid advertising through Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram. They also work on our email campaigns. We are beginning to work with their team on Snapchat.

We’ve had about four people working on this project. I’m frequently in touch with the owner.

Their project management style is excellent. They do all of the research, working hard to figure everything out. We trust their judgment since we’re not the first liquor brand they’ve worked with. For project management tools, they created a specific dashboard for the project.

In the beginning, we needed to launch a new website. Our SEO and Google Ads strategies were also lacking. We tried traditional campaigns through direct mail, radio, billboards, and newspapers. Our digital campaigns needed to be more efficient.

We worked together on copy and then they took over executing campaigns.

Since we started working with Io8, we've seen our conversion rates increase from .03% to a monthly average of 1 - 2% and have had days where we've seen an 8% conversion rate! We're getting a lot smarter about targeting and are starting to see patterns that suggest a sustainable trend in the right direction.

We're a small and nimble team and they've met us where we need to be in terms of workflow and communication. They've made a concerted effort to ask how to make the workflow more efficient and we feel confident that they're open to any suggestions should we have any. So far so good.
