Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We have worked with Zumoko for over 5 years on multiple different projects. They have developed both a mobile app for Android and iPhone as well as separately built a new website from scratch on the Webflow platform. They are very responsive and thorough in their work, all for a great price.

For the mobile app, it was developed on the Flutter platform, and utilizes the smartphone camera and editing features. It was delivered on time with no bugs inside the software.

For the website, they recommended using Webflow (instead of WordPress) as one of our goals was to have a simpler CMS that us as the client could easily make small changes without requiring developer hours. For more complicated changes, the Zumoko team is always available and does a thorough job - always making sure the site will render properly on all screen types (desktop, mobile, etc). The design team created a clean, simple look, for which we have received a lot of positive feedback from our users. We had a few specific feature requirements that were outside of the scope of what Webflow offers "out of the box", but they found creative solutions with third-party plug-ins that made those extra features work seamlessly. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Throughout both the mobile app and website projects, we checked in often about progress. The Zumoko team made themselves available for any questions, big or small. Since we worked collaboratively throughout the requirements and development stages, there was never a question that the function or design of either project was going the right direction. They shared work-in-progress to confirm we were always on the right track, and thus avoided any rework or redesign. I especially value this way of working as it gets the outcome right the first time and avoids any miscommuncation, frustration, or extra time and cost.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The team has always delivered on time, and is proactive in following up about open tasks. They respond quickly and if the work cannot get done right away they will set a realistic timeline and stick to it.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

One thing that sets Zumoko apart from other developers is they stick to their promises. If you ask them about a certain feature or functionality, they will give you a true and realistic answer about the possilibility of making it happen. They will always find an appropriate solutions and keep ongoing cost in mind for the client. If the requested functionality is not possible using existing software tools, you can be sure they have searched far and wide for one, and will have a good answer as to the limitations of existing technology. You can trust that they did their due diligence to find a workable solution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Zumoko could have done differently?

Zumoko has always done right by us and our company. Will continue to use them in the future and have always recommended them to others who have asked me for technology referrals.
