Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the senior vice president of digital marketing at a record label.
What challenge were you trying to address with WebTheory Media LLC?
One of the bands on our label is Motley Crew. The demographics of their fans skew a bit older, so we wanted to tailor our digital marketing approach for them.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The goal was to grab traffic searching for Motley Crew on Google and YouTube and drive them to streaming service where they could watch the newest biopic on the Motley Crew. We also wanted to promote merchandise sales.
We also worked with them on an ad campaign for AWOLNATION.
Our in-house team specializes in Facebook, Instagram, and social media marketing. WebTheory Media helps us with Google and YouTube advertising projects.

We use them on an ad hoc basis. We’ve worked on about four projects over the past year and a half.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve had a very positive impact on the business. Prior to working with them, we weren’t doing any Google or Youtube advertising for legacy acts. We hadn’t been seeing good conversion rates when advertising on sites like Instagram, but we saw a big improvement after we started working with WebTheory Media.
How did WebTheory Media LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
We usually communicate over the phone and through email. They closely monitor the analytics for an ad for the first 48 hours after launch, and then make recommendations for changes based on performance.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve worked with other ad agencies before. Oftentimes, you won’t hear about the results until the end of the campaign. However, WebTheory Media provides continuous updates and makes adjustments to maximize our ROI.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. I haven’t come across any areas for improvement. They’re always on the ball.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Ask them about ways in which you can improve the destination where you’re sending people. They’re very knowledgeable about landing page conversions.
