We are a company hiring about 50 people, we have a marketing team of several people who needed additional support in a large project.

For what projects/services did your company hire Tribe47?

We needed support with a large e-commerce project. From strategy design, to its implementation, to control. We hired Tribe47 to support paid campaigns and develop digital strategies.

We had previously worked on another project, we had good experiences, so we decided on another project.

Our scope included paid campaigns - Facebook Ads and Google Ads, and organic activities: social media and our internal channels. There were also some other additional activities, such as webinars, videos, contests and challenges.

What was the team composition?

Our internal marketing team cooperated with the Project Manager from Tribe47 and specialists dedicated to our project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Together, we have done a lot of work that will stay with us for a long time. We have implemented many evergreen activities that give us a stable flow of new leads. Together, we prepared the Black Friday 2020 campaign, which achieved the historically best result.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We organized regular status meetings and communicated on Slack every day. If there was such a need, we organized quick calls on an ongoing basis to improve and accelerate our work.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have the best people in the industry, specialists best suited to the project and business. This is a big advantage on the market.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

After a few months of the project, our cooperation is really smooth and optimized. Nothing to change :)

We needed consulting in building a digital marketing strategy for our inbound, outbound, and organic sales and marketing funnels.

What were your goals for this project?

They were to create a comprehensive mid to long term strategy with clear goals, KPIs, and implementation plan.

Work was divided into 4 stages:

1. Questionnaires. We had to fill in long forms about our business personas, product, business and marketing.
2. Research. Tribe47 did a comprehensive research on our competition and market.
3. Workshop. Together we spent more than 6 hours discussing the findings of the research and filling in the gaps in the proposed strategy.
4. Report. Tribe47 delivered a detailed report with an execution plan for our complete digital marketing and sales strategy ready for implementation.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Tribe47 went over the top with what they delivered. They were very diligent, did not cut corners, and prepared actionable items that we could put to work right away.

Workshops were very productive as well, they allowed us to go through a process that led to the realisation of how much of an effort it takes to do marketing well, especially in our business.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

There were no issues with the workflow.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The fact that their success is based on experience and competences. They are really experts in their field.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Questionnaires were formatted in a way that filling them in was a bit painful. I would also introduce some more distinction between B2C and B2B strategies and thus the way the work is done and delivered.

Slawa Madelska: I’m the digital transformation advisor and board member. We’re a premium jewelry company and one of the three leaders in Poland.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tribe47?

MC: We needed someone to do our Facebook advertising. The main goal was to achieve higher ranks and scale our performance.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

MC: They do our Facebook advertising. We also worked on the segmentation of our account as well as our analytics. In the beginning, they helped with the account segmentation by creating some documents which enabled us to improve our analytics. We had a weekly consulting session where we would learn from them. 

What is the team composition?

MC:  There were four people. At the very beginning, there was a fifth person.

How did you come to work with Tribe47?

MC:  They were recommended to me by a member of an entrepreneurial organization that I’m a part of.

SM:  We considered another company. We’ve been audited by several agencies over the years and we were impressed with what Tribe47 did because it was very thorough and focused on the purchase funnels which is what we were looking for. The audit was very well done. This was the main reason they were a partner we wanted to work with.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from April–July 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

MC:  The goal was to be at the level of 16 and we reached the level of 18. We also reached the goal of segmentation. We were audited by Facebook this week, and we’ve optimized our accounts to almost 90%. We have the best-optimized account. We’ve reached the goal of getting the know-how and knowledge transfer. We’re very pleased with all the sessions that we had.          

How did Tribe47 perform from a project management standpoint?

MC:  The cooperation went really well. The project management was really one of the best parts. The project manager was great. I can’t say a bad word about her. It was one of the best experiences we’ve had so far with an agency. They’re a team of highly skilled and engaged professionals. We were treated like partners and we could treat them as partners.

What did you find most impressive about them?

MC:  They’re highly skilled and engaged professionals. They’re super committed to the results and are ambitious.

Are there any areas they could improve?

MC:  They’re a smaller agency compared to global players. This is something that allows them to go beyond the industry standard. They really adjust to the needs of the client.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

MC:  Tell them as much as you can about your business challenge and the details of your experience so far. They will take it and make the most of it.
