Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a Kenyan based company in the fashion industry dealing mainly in bags, ladies' designer handbags to be specific. I am the CEO and founder of Citrine.

Digital marketing strategy since we are an online store.

What were your goals for this project?

To establish digital presence and develop a digital marketing campaign

How did you select Smith Aegis Plc?

We put out an ad for digital media agencies with vast experience in digital marketing. Out of the ones that came forth, Smith Aegis Plc stood out with the best proposal. They had even taken it upon themselves to do a bit of market survey and identified a niche for us!

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Once Smith Aegis came on board, we had several meetings to discuss our strategy. Thereafter, we had weekly meetings to check on progress. Smith Aegis would take our products on photo shoots every time we brought in new items. They would then make posters and ads for our business with and post them on social media every single day.

What was the team composition?

We mostly work with the creative team led by the creative director, Eric Waibochi.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have experienced an immense increase in sales since we started working with Smith Aegis Plc. Most of our customers saw our ads and posts on social media. Our sales team have always been busy tending to customers and delivering products to different locations.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The creative team from Smith Aegis Plc has been in constant communication with our marketing team as they discuss new strategies for our business.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Smith Aegis has been our marketing ally and our teacher. We would've neglected so many aspects if it weren't for them. They always strive to show us what is best for us even when we are in doubt. That, I can say, has made me want to keep them on my side.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not that I can think of.

I run a Blockchain Incubator for young entrepreneurs in Kenya. This year we just scale our business in 2 more countries in Africa. I am the cofounder and COO.

Create a responsive website so our users can access on any devices. I was also looking at create branding awareness for my company to increase more visibility in the market.

A friend shared with me their website. I went through some of their work and I was quite impressed.

I needed a website to showcase our company services and create awareness for some products we were introducing in 2020.

I was working with a creative designer, a front end and back end developer.

Within 3 months, we were able to design an amazing and responsive website.
