I am a principal in a training company. We provide Personality Style Assessments and application workshops.

For what projects/services did your company hire Smartregy?

Our business model has been completely focused on in person workshops and as we are making the transition to the 'new normal' of more online expectations, we engaged Smartregy to create a new marketing strategy and rebrand our marketing to better address the current market conditions.

How did you selec Smartregy and what were the deciding factors?

We are a tiny company and were looking to outsource our marketing. We had looked at VA's, but decided that we wanted to work with a small near-shore agency that would give us better long term team solution rather than hiring multiple VA skills.

We did web searches for Latin America Digital Agencies so we would be in similar time zones. Smartegy was selected because they met our selection criteria and have complementary values. They also had some event based clients that we felt would be valuable. Before the final selection, I made a trip to Panama so we could meet face to face and get to know each other on a more personal basis.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

In addition to our face to face meeting, we had several Zoom calls outlining our current processes and desires for the future. They did an extensive review of our existing websites and collateral materials. They surveyed and interviewed several of our existing clients and developed two new customer avatars and customer journeys.

They then created a detailed outline of the proposed strategy and next steps.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have just completed the strategy review as I am writing this review. We are very pleased with the thoroughness of the final report and are now excited about starting the implementation phase. The deliverable met or exceeded our expectations and were in alignment with our goals for 2022.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had two in person meetings and the rest of our communications was done with email and Zoom calls. They were very responsive and our communication was direct and effective.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They had good insight into our market and showed a lot of interest in our project. It is because it seemed to resonate well with them and aligned with their values as individuals and companies.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are their 1st US client, so there were some logistical things to work out, but they were very flexible and easy to work with to work out the kinks.

I’m the general manager at a nonprofit focused on education, art, and culture.

What challenge were you trying to address EMC Consultora? 

We were looking to innovate our marketing. We used to have a very traditional approach, mostly paper-based, so we wanted to get into technology innovation. So we hired EMC Consultora to implement a digital marketing strategy for an event we were having. Our goal was to increase our ticket sales through digital channels.

What was the scope of their involvement?

EMC Consultora provided consulting services by evaluating all of our social networks. Then, they also used MailChimp for communications and forms for surveys, among others.

What is the team composition?

We have one main point of contact.

How did you come to work with EMC Consultora?

We did several interviews. We were looking to work with someone with experience in the cultural sector, which is something that they have. We did some evaluations, and EMC Consultora presented their proposal, which we liked the most. It was very innovative and it allowed us to measure results, so we decided they were the best choice for us. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $17,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in June 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We managed to reach a different audience with our ticket sales, and all of our events were full. That was a very positive impact. Another thing is that our investment in marketing decreased while our results improved. And, in general, we have been able to get to more people.

How did EMC Consultora perform from a project management standpoint?

Our contact is very efficient. With the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, we had to take most of our projects online. So, we decided to hire them again because we know they are extremely available and always in touch via digital channels. Our point of contact at EMC Consultora is very creative and proactive, and she always brings new ideas.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We had a very big team of volunteers for this event and she managed to have very assertive communication with everyone at the event. This allowed us to have an integral collaboration and with that a greater diffusion. 

With this, she was able to adapt perfectly to a team that has been together for more than 10 years in a very organic and smooth way. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Something that our contact could become stronger with would be attending more events in which she can showcase her company and abilities. We know she has been in the market for a while but we only found out about her, so she could do more to reach more people.

I´m the CEO at an engineering firm we serve industrial clients all along the Republic of Panama. Our objective is to consolidate as the first option in the marketplace.

We are looking to position our company as a first option for industrial maintenance. We turned to a partner who manage the digital strategy, from the design, creative and development. Since we don’t have any expertise the best option is to outsource this area.

Let us know in the marketplace as company at the forefront and leading technology. Be a change agent and contribute to our clients a nuance of a creative company and in constant evolution.

We search within a group of several consulting agencies, and after the first meeting we reduce the selection to three options. We evaluate creativity, previous cases in industry, what information they research about our wokline and what they could contribute additional to our request.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Traffic in our website increased since that we did not have a proper website, more interviews with different companies have been successfully converted to projects. Now we have a portal of our projects that allow our clients and prospects to know the scope of our company.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

In a proper manner, with respect and professionalism. A good working dumbbell at all stages.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They understood our needs very well from the beginning. They call much my attention for the level of knowledge in the design of the strategy, the implementation and the results that should be given with the presented scenarios.

They know consumer behavior well so that they advise according to the industry in which the project is managed. In this way it has a very wide range of development in different sectors.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We were very satisfied with the work done. Quality in a proper speed to let us decide what was the proper decision in every step. More meetings in the draft stage but at end the product was above our expectations.

Smartregy has developed brand themes and developed new logo. Will be working on website development over the next month. Want to go live with new website within two months.

Smartregy has met the timetable they presented. Delays were entirely on our end but there has been great communication between our teams.

They asked the right questions. The branding process was very thorough and forced us to reexamine our core goals and values. That led naturally into development of a brand and from there websites.
