Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and co-founder of Renthopper, a real estate platform for real estate agents to promote their properties.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Resty-app?
We needed help with the frontend development of our platform.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did the frontend development of our platform in React. The platform is working on mobile phones, tablets, and computers. We had a designer on board who created the specific design we wanted and they implemented it.
The key functionalities were mainly the search bar on our index page. It had to communicate well with the map which was created by them as well. The map is connected to the filter which filters all the properties that are on the platform. The three features are all connected.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Alexandra (Business Development Manager) on financial matters. There was one senior-level developer, one mid-level developer, and one junior level developer.
How did you come to work with Resty-app?
Alexandra found me on LinkedIn. We were using another provider from my country but we weren’t satisfied with the outcome. We decided to try Resty-app.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $2,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together on and off from October 2019 until February 2020.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We launched our platform two weeks ago. We’re doing quite good. We got some new clients and are now looking for investment to grow our business into something bigger and more powerful. I’ve gotten really positive feedback on the platform. Clients are satisfied. We accomplished our goals for version one with the help of Resty-app.
They were very helpful from day one. They’re very focused on a goal like we are. They followed our instructions well and improvised as needed and providing us with the correct answers. They were one of the most professional developers we’ve worked with. They’re very good in terms of coordination.
We liked their price and quality of the project. Everything is perfect. We’re still in contact. They write to me asking if we need more support. We’re investing in marketing and promotion right now but will work with them again in the future. We’re 100% satisfied.
How did Resty-app perform from a project management standpoint?
We had regular Skype calls. If something wasn’t correct, we would set a date for a conference call. The project management was good compared to what we paid. Communication wasn’t that frequent but mainly because we paid less money than they required. We told them they could take their time and they employed a junior developer. They managed to do the work.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They deliver good quality for a good price.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing we’d have them improve. We instructed them and they delivered.
