UX for Real Estate Website
"Overall, I am pretty happy."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of zipserve.com, which is a real estate risk assessment platform. We offer various legal technical services to our consumers who buy properties in three cities of Bangalore. After the purchase, we do the risk assessment of those properties.
What challenge were you trying to address with Red Baton?
Since our platform is online, and consumers pay online, we were looking for a creative team that could revamp the website. We needed a better engagement. Our website was not trustworthy, and the graphics were poor quality. It was developed by engineers, and we needed a creative team to work with us. Being a startup, we also had a budget, and most of the high- end agencies had high prices, but Red Baton had a very affordable price.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Red Baton overhauled the complete frontend, or redesigned the complete UX. We had a lot of hard data, and collected customer feedback. We give Red Baton this feedback, and they revamped the website so that when the customer comes to the website, the flow is such that the customer engages properly. It took time, because it is a large website. They wrote a lot of the content as well, and made it appealing to consumers. We are seeing better engagement.
How did you come to work with Red Baton?
The owner of the company attended the same university where I studied. We were evaluating the standard companies and their prices were very high. And Red Baton contacted us. We talked and in a month's time, we had the confidence to get started with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We have spent over $10,000.
What is the status of the engagement?
We started working together in March of 2017 and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
In terms of the quality of the work, I would rank them a 7. The changes Red Baton made have definitely resulted in better online engagement. The site is much more trustworthy and professional looking. We had all of the ingredients, but the look and feel was missing.
How did Red Baton perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management and responsiveness are great. We regularly talk over the phone.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Before Red Baton, we worked mostly with freelancers, who are very unreliable and unprofessional. Red Baton has the full stack solution. They can do the UX/UI design and have their own content writers. We didn't have to run it through multiple people. We were able to give the work to one team, and Red Baton split it among themselves. It was smooth for us, which is why we are giving them a new project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
In terms of creativity, they are a 7.5, but they could improve. However, what they lack in that respect, they make up for through their responsiveness and quality of code. Overall, we are pretty happy.
