PowerCode accelerated our development services. Their team met aggressive deadlines, delivering quality service. They brought work to production exceptionally quickly.
We had specific style guidelines around the stack we use, and it took time to train everyone, but everything was terrific after that. The team member we’re working with now is extremely independent and has the same permissions as our employees.
How did PowerCode perform from a project management standpoint?
We frequently talk with one of their founders, and he’s responsive at all times of day and night. We have regular meetings with our assigned engineer four times a week, with a standup every other day, and a team meeting. He’s extremely communicative.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their work ethic and responsibility are superior to other agencies we’ve worked with. One time, a customer called having issues with an app, and the engineer stayed up late resolving the problem, despite being in a different time zone. With past partnerships, they didn’t have the same sense of accountability to our clients. PowerCode works extremely hard on projects and remains flexible.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It’s not a deal breaker, but a few more options for billing and payment would be helpful.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
We’re in a unique position, having a product manager, designer, and engineers in-house. Many clients wouldn’t necessarily have those. From that perspective, it’s crucial to think beyond engineering, and about how PowerCode delivers expertise on product and design.
