Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

PixelMusica was tasked to film a 2 day concert with an Artist at the famed Esplanade concert hall. There were quite a few constraints from the concert hall when it comes to video filming. Camera location, inability to use dollies or cranes for video shots, etc. PixelMusica was able to work within these constraints and came up with creative ways to get the shots we want.

Adrian and his team at PixelMusica also came up with some fantastic ideas for filming additional candid shots of the Artist being interviewed. Their location scouting and setup was quick and effortless. The project took a little longer as PixelMusica had to wait for the music audio to be mixed and mastered in Los Angeles. When we received the final video, we were blown away by the quality. Every detail, every frame was well thought out, and the color correction was on point.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We needed the visuals to match the audio quality of the concert. The final deliverable (video) has to be as good as what was typically produced in Los Angeles. After seeing what PixelMusica had previously done, we had a good feeling that what they can create from us won't be cheesy or cliche.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They did their fair share. We took a lot longer with our audio production outside of PixelMusica's scope. But all in all, they checked in on us and when we delivered the final audio mixes to them, it took them no time to marry the audio to the visuals.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Professionalism was evident from the CEO all the way to the intern.PixelMusic imbued and forged a great sense of pride in the work they do. I am impressed with how well they can anticipate problems and navigate around them before it becomes sticky.

Are there any areas for improvement or something PixelMusica could have done differently?

At that time, I wished PixelMusica have a more robust audio team that can handle audio archival, we ended up using another vendor for that. I believe PixelMusica may have fixed that by having a permanent audio engineer on their team now.
