BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

SBS was established on 25th October 2013 as an international non-profit association. SBS’ objectives are derived from Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012 which sets out a long-term vision for the European Standardisation System.

The focus of this regulation is on improvements that will ensure better support for European policies fostering growth and competitiveness. SBS is one of the four “Annex III” organisations mandated by the European Commission to represent SMEs in the context of standardisation. I am in charge of press, communication activities and events.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Pix Videos, and what were your goals?

Produce a video for World Standards Day on the topic of sustainability.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Pix videos has a highly skilled team. Its manager Pablo was able to perceive SBS' mission and the project's communication objectives which we highly appreciated.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

Pix Video produced a detailed script and action on screen on which we were asked to provide feedback. We were given with a detailed and realistic schedule for the video production and Pix Video respected all deadlines.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with Pablo who was quick and very proactive.

Our networks highly appreciated the video

Their close attention to details and as said above, the ability to perceive our mission and communication objectives.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I cannot see any. We would definitely like to work with Pix Video in the future.

I am a Communication Consultant working in consultancy company for innovation and EU funding.

To produce a project video for an EU-funded project as part of the communication project strategy.

My management gave me contacts to work with them.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

They were in charge of the scope creating a video concept and implement it.

What was the team composition?

I worked wit one person only the project manager who was my contact person.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The video was very well received by the project consortium of scientists, researchers. We generated more than 1,500 views for less than a week.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their workflow was very effective. The project manager was always available for any requests.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are trying to deliver on time.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

They should read a bit more carefully the brief we've sent. On some points, we sent a very detailed storyline that was not kept and needed to be redone.
