Items were delivered on time but initially, there were some issues with work being sent to us that had not been checked and involved too much of our input before changes could be implemented on our site. In recent months, they did not respond to our needs - several questions were left unanswered having been raised a few times. In the last month they did not deliver the full scope or final deliverables. Their projections for off-site SEO were not met.

We negotiated specific terms when we signed our initial contract. When the contract was due to be renewed these terms had been changed without discussing this with us. We've never had this with another agency so that's unique. Eventually the terms were changed but we knew then that there wouldn't be a long-term relationship with Passion.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Passion Digital Ltd. could have done differently?
Passion could have been honest when attempting to change contract terms rather than adding them in without discussing with us. They could have responded to questions we had in the months before we handed in our notice and they should have worked the number of days we paid for in the final month.

At Passion, we strive to offer the highest level of service to all clients, and we regret that we didn't meet your expectations. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by some mistakes in copy and for missing a piece of information on a handover. We understand how important it is to ensure that the work meets your requirements, and that is why we apologized and rectified the issue immediately.
We also recognise the importance of meeting projections for SEO. The organic results have all been fantastic and we aimed to even submit an award for it. Some results of our work below. • Generic clicks increased from 92,500 in May 2022 to 322,900 in April 2023 (249% increase) • Organic transactions increased by 250% in the same time period • Organic sessions increased by 280% in the same time period • DA improved from 9 to 16 with link building activity between Dec22 and May23
Regarding the changes in the contract, we apologize for any confusion caused. We changed our master services agreement with standard terms across the board with all clients, our intention wasn't to change the terms without prior communication with you but send it over for your approval. We value transparency, and we understand the importance of being clear and upfront in our dealings.
Finally, we are sorry that we have been late delivering the last of the work for our last month, but our intention was (and still is, despite this damaging review) to fulfill the hours and send the last deliverable to you. I’ve chatted with the team and we aren't aware of any unanswered questions, but we’ll be happy to answer if any have been missed.

I personally didn't start the relationship with Passion Digital. I believe they were already in talks with us when I started my role here, and I sort of just picked up the correspondence and took it from there. However, from initial talks with the team, they showed themselves to be very enthusiastic, responsive, wanting to learn more and understand our business better and excellent project management to ensure there were timelines for the work to be carried out.

First, we wanted assistance with our social media strategy - ideas on the type of content to post, tone of voice, style etc. This was then followed on by a re-design of our current website to be more user-friendly and easier to purchase from. We continued to build this in-house for about 8 months with Passion's steady guidance to ensure we were on track to complete it.
After build completion, the next focus was to ensure we were ranking in Google's search results so their SEO team joined the fold to run with this. It was evident that we needed to have all areas of digital marketing under Passion Digital's umbrella, so we stopped our PPC services with our then-agency and brought it all under Passion Digital for them to manage.

Our company hired Passion Digital to support with PPC, paid social, SEO and content marketing services. We wanted to hire an agency that specialised in these areas so that they could provide us with advice and support to help us reach our digital marketing and business goals. Our knowledge of paid digital needed development back in 2019 so we needed an agency to guide us through and be an extension of our internal marketing team.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Several agencies were considered, but we liked the fact that Passion were small enough to care and big/established enough to be able to provide the expertise we needed.

We've worked with Passion on several different projects with different deliverables. For business confidentiality reasons I am not going to outline them there.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with lots of people across Passion - both Heads of PPC, Managing Directors, Head of Paid Social, PPC Account Managers, content leads, UX designers.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Particularly on the PPC side of things, Passion always push to get us results - they are very proactive when it comes to looking at ways to reduce CPCs, and they often suggest ways to save budget. We've had slightly more challenges on the paid social side of things due to internal tracking challenges and a challenging product, but the paid social team have come up with ideas to help us reach audiences in new ways and been honest with us about where we should put our money.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We have weekly meetings with the PPC and paid social account managers. They are always quick to respond to emails.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They feel like an extension of our internal marketing team, particularly on the PPC side of things. The relationship feels positive and the PPC team are happy to talk through ideas and concepts in a frank and honest way. They also put in a lot of time to research and learn about emerging developments/issues in the paid digital space, which is really encouraging. It feels like they want to do the best job they can for us.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I've had limited exposure to SEO, UX and content marketing areas of Passion so I can't speak to our experience there. Reporting and measuring performance against targets/forecasts is something that Passion could work on further, although in the last 6 months we've seen an improvement in the quality of reporting and communication around any reporting issues.

We hired Passion Digital Ltd. to improve our online image and presence.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Passion Digital Ltd. offered us digital marketing services. They started with a fact-finding mission — they did some research on our competitors and user analysis for our product. They then developed a digital marketing strategy for our company to lay out how we’d move forward once our platform launched.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 3–5 teammates throughout the project, including Cecilia (Joint Managing Director, New Business and Marketing) and Rosie (Managing Partner, Insight and Strategy).

We didn’t have much background knowledge in marketing, so we reached out to a few companies for assistance. Eventually, we hired Passion Digital Ltd. because they shared our vision, understood our needs, and communicated well. Their team had a very positive attitude.

Passion Digital Ltd.’s team was very experienced and communicated well. I’m not very technologically savvy, but they could translate technical jargon into something I could understand. Passion Digital Ltd. met deadlines and followed through on their promises. They found the perfect balance between providing us with as much information as needed while still staying within our budget.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Passion Digital Ltd. was very approachable; in every meeting, each teammate from Passion Digital Ltd. brought their skill to the table and contributed to a quality final result. They took us seriously and made us feel very important.

Customers need to be open and honest with Passion Digital Ltd. about what they want. It can be difficult going into the digital marketing world without any experience, but Passion Digital Ltd. is understanding and will guide customers through the process.
