BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm a global online marketing manager at Virtuozzo. We are a complete cloud platform for cloud service providers, managed service providers, and hosts. Our company is headquartered in Switzerland.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Passion Digital Ltd.?
We hired them for their PPC services. We were expanding our PPC efforts and needed a company to support us in scaling our ad campaigns and providing consulting services. We also wanted to spend our money more efficiently and generate more qualified leads.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
PD were focused on paid digital advertising (mainly Google Search and Display and LinkedIn), but not limited to that. They helped us to setup paid ads, optimise them, they also provided suggestions on things we can improve (such as landing page content, ad copy, ad creatives, and stuff), they also helped us to perform keyword research for search ads and find the right audiences for display campaigns on Google). PD also performed regular analysis on our ad campaign performance, so I loved their focus on data analysis - they always analyse numbers and come up with great analyses.
They're very proactive about providing feedback and options for us.
In addition to that, they were always there for us when we needed them, like if we need some support or advice from them immediately. So it really feels like we’re in the same team, rather than they’re an external agency.
What is the team composition?
We work with three people from their side: a social media ads expert, a senior Google Ads expert, and an account manager. The account manager is our main point of contact.
How did you come to work with Passion Digital Ltd.?
My manager knows them from her previous job. They were partnering with them on a similar project, and the experience working with PD was very good. So there was no doubt about what company to select.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in August 2021, and our engagement is still ongoing.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
So far, we’re very satisfied with the results of our engagement. Since we started working with Passion, we've seen an improved percentage of traffic coming from our paid ads, along with new leads. We’ve also noticed a significant drop in our CPL rate quarter over quarter.
How did Passion Digital Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management style is great. They always meet deadlines, stay within budget, and respond to requests promptly. Their communication skills are great as well. We have weekly calls to discuss progress and mainly interact through email and Microsoft Teams.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are always keen to understand our business, our niche and what we need. They really dug into the background story of every ad campaign that we launched together and the target audience of each campaign. Many agencies said they’re doing that, but not many actually do that qualitatively.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything that Passion Digital Ltd. could improve on.
Any advice for potential customers?
Make sure to provide them with all the information they need to do your project. Also, be involved throughout the project.
