BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix, which is the flagship of Danish Motorsports. The race takes place in Bellahøj, Copenhagen each year during the first weekend of August. CHGP is action, drama, speed, and entertainment for the entire family as we celebrate historic race cars and famous race drivers–both Danish icons and international stars.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Pairroxz Technologies?

This project was developing a new app (front- and backend) that supports our over 40,000 visitors and 220 participants. It would act as a supplement for our guests and participants both before and during the event.

What were your goals for this project?

The race takes place each year during the first weekend of August. We wanted to launch an Android and iOS app before the beginning of the event.

How did you select this vendor?

We posted our app requirement on Upwork. Although we got responses from many contractors, we liked Pairroxz team’s the best and they took our business from there.

Describe the project in detail.

The app will provide everything related to the Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix. Users will also be able to buy tickets, get news and updates about an event, and information about the visitors, participants, and neighbors.

Pairroxz played a vital role in framing our idea. We started by discussing all our needs and expectations. They sought our approval on every step to ensure we were on the same page. They developed the app’s code and layout and integrated APIs. It’s available in Danish as well as in English, which make it more understandable to users.

What was the team composition?

We had a single point of contact, who introduced us to the development team. It included a UI designer, an Android developer, an iOS developer, an API developer, and a tester.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The application has created magnificent revenue and attracted many new users to the event.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We communicated with them through Upwork, and our point of contact was very easy to interact with. They were outstanding from a project management point of view, updating us so regularly that it was like the work was being done in front of our eyes.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We found their quick responses and quality very impressive. Before making any changes, they would have a healthy discussion with us. They also would provide suggestions if they thought of a better way to present the app to the user.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I didn’t find any cons in working for them. They’re our most trusted, efficient, and highly-recommended vendor.
