BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the VP of Marketing at Mautic. We offer marketing cloud services, enabling companies of all sizes to use modern marketing automation to connect all their digital properties and channels. This creates a seamless customer experience.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire nDash.co?

We've worked with nDash on several writing projects, including writing white papers, ebooks, and blog posts.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to create new, original content that we can use as offers in our marketing communications.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I learned about nDash through a friend, and was immediately impressed by their content community model, as well as the caliber of their writers.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

We already had content ideas that we wanted to develop. We went through the process of finding and evaluating writers, developing the title, abstract, and outline, and then worked with the writer to develop the content, edit and publish.

What was the team composition?

I’ve worked with the nDash team directly, as well as several writers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've seen tremendous interest and downloads through our marketing campaigns.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

nDash has been a great extension to our small marketing team. It's been a valuable partnership that has helped us achieve some of our near-term goals.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The caliber of writers stood out. In B2B tech, it can be challenging to find good writers that grasp solutions well enough to write about them. nDash has been a fantastic resource for filling that gap.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There aren’t any that I can think of.

With a user-friendly platform and impeccable customer service, nDash.co’s outsourcing platform fostered dynamic user-freelancer interaction. Their convenient service greatly mitigated project-costs and freed internal bandwidth.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the content marketer for Applause, a company that crowdsources software and app testing.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire nDash.co?

We leveraged nDash.co’s network of freelance writers to augment our content marketing strategy. With only one full-time marketer on our team, we needed quality written work to bolster our current marketing content.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a well-qualified writer to curate a blog for our Women-in-Tech month initiative.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

A former colleague recommended them. nDash.co allowed us to try their outsourcing platform with minimal commitment, so we proceeded with their services.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Once we contacted their team with our specific project requirements, nDash connected us with various writers from their extensive freelance community. Their platform facilitated direct engagement with experienced resources, which allowed us to select the appropriate content writer for our blog. Their writer researched the content, wrote the material, and edited the articles according to our specifications.

What was the team composition?

We primarily worked with their customer success manager, who connected us with our writer.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Because the articles have not gone live yet, we do not have quantitative metrics. However, we’re pleased with our writer’s strong deliverables. nDash’s convenient platform enabled us to extend our content marketing strategy for short-term engagements without the commitment of hiring full-time employees. As a result, project costs fell well within budget.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Compared to similar vendors, their customer success team provided faster and more useful service. Considering our high expectations, we appreciated the ability to communicate with the writers directly within the platform. This ensured that our expectations and deliverables aligned.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We found the ease and convenience of their concept to be the most impressive. Researching, drafting, editing, and publishing work is incredibly tasking to do ourselves. We have had this campaign planned for months, and we were able to buy back many hours by sourcing the blogs for it. Having that extra bandwidth back by leveraging nDash has been incredible.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Although we've seen several minor UI bugs, they do not significantly impact the engagement.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their work.

nDash Marketing has worked on many different projects for us. One of the major projects included a rewrite of our Ipswitch File Transfer website. They developed new content that improved the overall effectiveness of the website. They also created content for many other of our various marketing programs throughout the year.

What was your process for selecting nDash Marketing with which to work?

We were working with different writers to look at their performance and that’s how we ended up working with nDash. The project they worked on turned out to be a successful project so we decided to expand our partnership with them.

We’ve seen strong business results including increased Web traffic, increased Web response rates, and effective lead generation. The programs nDash have implemented have been a valuable part of our marketing efforts for our growing lines of business. nDash’s performance has been very good. Projects have been delivered on time and on budget while remaining of high quality.

No.

The writers at nDash provide polished, accurate copy to suit a variety of marketing situations. They work equally well on short and extended timelines, and are able to implement comprehensive feedback or turn projects around within hours. Solid communication keeps projects running smoothly.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your organization.

Our company is a user activity monitor company. We help organizations identify and manage user-based risks.

What is your role and the responsibilities that are associated with it?

I am the vice president of marketing.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What was your goal for working with nDash Marketing?

nDash fills an important business need for us, they produce content relevant for our clients and perspective buyers. We use them to develop content for our blog and other articles across various channels. They take our message and write targeted pieces for audiences about our services and where they fit into the market.

SOLUTION

When did you begin partnering with nDash Marketing?.

Our partnership with nDash began about a year ago.

Was there any formal selection process in choosing to partner with nDash Marketing?

When I came into the company about eight months ago, my colleagues had already selected nDash as our content marketing partners. As I understand, we were considering multiple partners, but nDash best fit our needs.

Can you provide a ballpark dollar figure for the size of the work that they’ve done for you?

nDash provides a variety of content marketing services for our company. We are currently on track to spend about $50,000 or $60,000 this year, aggregating all of the work that they have done for us so far.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Do you have any statistics or metrics to track improvement from the project? Are you satisfied with their performance?

nDash does great work. They have great writers and are very responsive. In the security software industry, one of the most important issues is to address breaches when they come up, it’s important for my company to be able to respond quickly. nDash Marketing turns deliverables around within hours of these high pressured situations. For longer and more strategic pieces, they’ve also all been very good. nDash listens to feedback. If a writer needs to make adjustments, they make the requested changes very quickly.

Looking back on the partnership so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or you might do differently?

My only constructive suggestion would be that they begin to adapt a few different styles of writing based on the client they are writing for. From a content perspective, being able to shift that tone based on that particular persona will be important as their client base grows.

Stellar marketing has helped the startup flourish and expand into an individual enterprise. nDash Marketing has a fresh, creative writing style that enlivens any topics, no matter their inherent marketability. When given feedback, the team quickly delivers revisions that far exceed the requests.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company.

Our company is a startup [named Vroozi]. It’s a mobile, cloud-based procurement platform. We’ve been around for about four years. We create an Amazon-like marketplace for people to shop. Our platform works on any device.

What is your role and responsibilities?

I’m head of marketing and business development.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What was your goal for working with nDash Marketing?

We’ve done well in terms of sales, but it was through a lot of grassroots sales relationships. We did not have a proper marketing team, we didn’t even have a website. My goal for engaging with nDash was to create initial content for our website as well as content for our blog.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their work.

This is a startup, so one of the things that we really want to focus on as a company is our business development. In order to continue to beef up my team I need to continuously market the solution my company offers. I’ve chosen to use nDash to help me execute on those marketing efforts. In fact, I’ve extended their role this year to help me provide content for other areas of our company.

Can you provide a ballpark dollar figure for the size of the work that they’ve done for you?

I have nDash provide all types of content. That includes blogging, copywriting, PR [public relations], website content, white papers, or even just revisions of some of our major presentations to make sure that the language is properly describing the situation. They’ve practically been a part of our in-house team, they really know what type of voice we need to communicate to our audience.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the results of the project?

We started working together two and a half years ago. The work was simple to begin with, and their role expanded 20 times more when we spun out as an individual company earlier this year.

Is there anything unique about them that really makes them stand out, compared to other companies?

There are a couple things that set them apart. Number one is their creativity. We are a B2B [business-to-business] business, which is the "boring" business. To write something funny for a boring business is rather difficult. Their way of finding creativity in a boring space was very important to me. The second thing is the customer service. No matter what’s going on, if I ask a question through email, I get a response within a few hours. It’s the attentiveness; things are always on time.

Lastly, the quality of work, and the ability to accept feedback and correct it. I know they write for multiple companies, and there’s going to be times where they give a deliverable and it doesn’t quite hit the point we were aiming for. I know I can openly discuss it with them, and they will correct it and hand back a result much better than I imagined. This is the type of relationship that becomes very important when you’re working with a marketing agency.

Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or something that you might do differently?

I don’t have any constructive criticism, but rather a point of caution. nDash is a small agency, which allows incredible quality control. As their agency grows, I encourage them to keep the focus on quality and customer service.
