BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of BGW Construction, a home renovation and remodeling services company. We transform kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor living spaces for families in Hendricks County, Indiana, and surrounding areas.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Motive?

We hired Motive to help with our Google footprint (SEO), Facebook ads, organic reach, and website consultations.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Motive tracks our search engine results with Google Business Profile pages, website optimization, and social media footprint. We told them that we were getting 7–8 prospect calls per week, and we were hoping to increase those calls to 10–12 per week and the quality of all the prospective calls. Currently, we’re averaging 15–16 prospective calls per week, and the quality of the calls has been better.

Motive has offered several suggestions for the website to streamline it and make it more readable for our clients. They’ve also helped guide our organic social media posts; we provide the content, and they offer notes and run optimized ads. Additionally, they’ve helped us optimize our Google Business Profile page.

How did you come to work with Motive?

I found them through a social media ad. Then, I scheduled a call, and after several conversations, I felt we were aligned and hired them. I could tell that there was an honest approach to expectations and a level of confidence that made me feel better.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent a total of roughly $18,000, but that includes money to Google and Facebook for the ads.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in January 2025, and it’s ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re very happy with the results so far. We’re currently averaging 15–16 prospective calls per week (18–19 since March 1, 2025), and the quality of the calls has been better. About 14 calls per week are qualified leads.

How did Motive perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is superior to all other companies I’ve worked with. They’re very timely and responsive. We communicate via email and monthly virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I find Motive's sincere concern about my company and how we're doing refreshing. I feel like I have a partner; I don’t feel like this relationship is transactional.
