Mobile App Dev & UI/UX Design for Sports Betting Platform
"They provided skilled work for flexible requirements."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder, president, and head of product at Vig It, a sports betting platform. We’re a mobile platform with iOS and Android clients.
What challenge were you trying to address with millermedia7?
We needed additional engineering resources.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We used millermedia7 for additional engineering resources for both front- and backend development and some design resources. We had an internal team of engineers and designers, and we would engage the millermedia7 team routinely when our scope of work would grow beyond our internal resources’ capabilities.
We put together initial documentation for our app and technically oversaw its development from start to finish. millermedia7 helped us along the way; they provided us with UI/UX designs, backend server work, backend API work, and frontend work on ReactNative.
Throughout the engagement, they helped us with a free-to-play sportsbook, a fantasy sports betting league, an offerwall, betting analytics, and a fully dynamic social network with a news feed. They also helped us develop the registration and sign-up functionalities.
What is the team composition?
Our internal development team had four people, and when we would outsource to millermedia7, they would give us 1–5 additional resources.
How did you come to work with millermedia7?
We were referred to millermedia7 by one of our board members, and they were part of our selection process. We got quotes from 5–7 different development shops. We whittled the options down to three, then had a post-selection screening and exercise. Ultimately, we chose millermedia7 due to their core competency, talent level, and pricing.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent in the ballpark of $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from January–December 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
millermedia7 was a great asset. They had talented designers and creative engineers who were great at problem-solving. Moreover, they provided us with consulting services and great advice to plan the app.
The team was also really flexible; they only needed a 1–2 week heads up that we needed additional resources, and they’d figure it out. Overall, they were professional and timely — I really enjoyed working with them.
How did millermedia7 perform from a project management standpoint?
They were great at getting work done in time and delivered under budget for the most part. We appreciated their flexibility in the number of resources they provided us with. For example, we’d have four teammates from millermedia7 for 2–3 weeks, and then we’d go down to one person for a week, then change it back up to two resources for the following week.
The team is familiar with and capable of using all industry-standard project management tools, including Figma, Jira, Asana, Trello, and GitHub. We used Trello for project management with them, and it went great.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The flexibility millermedia7 provided week-to-week made them stand out on top of their good work. Most companies require a 3–4 week heads up about how many resources the client needs and locks them in for a certain amount of time. millermedia7’s ability to ebb and flow was a huge advantage for us — they provided skilled work for flexible requirements.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there wasn’t anything they needed to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to know what you want and provide examples of products with similar functionality in the marketplace. We had several examples to share with millermedia7 and knew specifically how we needed the app’s features to function. Their designer was able to take those principles and turn them into a great UX.
To sum up: know your market and the functionality you’re looking for. You shouldn’t go to any vendor and simply request an app; you have to give them parameters.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and president of a digital media and e-learning company.
What challenge were you trying to address with millermedia7?
We hired them to revamp a new marketing landing page for our e-learning product. We’d been working with another vendor, but we were having difficulties with them, so we chose to find a new company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They designed and developed a marketing landing page for a digital e-learning subscription product.
What is the team composition?
We had two main points of contact, the co-founders of the company.
How did you come to work with millermedia7?
They were referred to me by our CTO who has worked with them many times.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent somewhere between $15,000-$20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from February–April 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They doubled our conversion rate for subscriptions.
How did millermedia7 perform from a project management standpoint?
They were very good. Their estimates were accurate, the timelines were accurate, and they fulfilled the deliverables we were looking for. They stand out for their project management skills, they’re among the best that we’ve worked with.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The company is well run and their work is accurate. They’re very good at staying on budget, managing their time correctly, and communicating when issues arise that might change the budget or delivery timeline.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing specific I think they need to improve. They came in under less than ideal circumstances. They did a very good job within the constraints they faced.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don’t let the fact that they might not have the cheapest prices dissuade you from working with them. Their estimates are more accurate than other vendors and they provide high-quality work.

“Throughout the process, they showed a high level of engagement and commitment to the team and project.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the SVP of product, marketing, and alliances for a leading SaaS-based risk and compliance platform. We provide innovative SaaS platforms and unparalleled data solutions to help our clients streamline and manage their risk and compliance processes.
What challenge were you trying to address with millermedia7?
We were trying to enhance our customer's user experience and journey while using one of our core risk and compliance platforms.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started with a discovery phase where we conceptualized the scope of work on a vision board. We interviewed external clients/users and prospects as well as internal stakeholders and constituents. After developing a better understanding of our market and our clients' use of our product, we identified some key areas of improvement in our product’s UX design. Then, we collaborated on a set of improved wireframes and templates. Once we put finalized the mockups, we tested the prototype with clients and prospects. Based on their feedback, we made a few adjustments to refine the product. We ended the partnership with a final prototype and corresponding style guide. We’re implementing the work on our own.
What is the team composition?
We worked closely with Anthony (CEO, millermedia7) and Alex (Head of UX, millermedia7).
How did you come to work with millermedia7?
I was introduced to millermedia7 through a long-time colleague after I spoke with her about the project and asked for references. She’d worked with them in the past and recommended their services. In addition to millermedia7, we also considered a few other vendors and selected millermedia7 based on their proposed work plan, thoughtful approach, and pricing.
What is the status of this engagement?
The engagement lasted from October 2017–January 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The millermedia7 team delivered great work. We are about to release the product in market, but recent testing and demos have indicated a very positive response from our users and prospective users.
How did they perform from a project management standpoint?
They did a great job. Their team was engaged, responsive, and focused throughout the engagement. I don’t think we were a huge project for them, but they still showed a high-level of commitment. It’s clear that they care about their clients.
We had an open line of communication with their senior executives and the team working on our account. They provided updates and progress reports and actively sought our approval. Overall, the millermedia7 team is small but mighty.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Millermedia7 was a tremendous partner to our organization—and really helped redesign our core offer. Throughout the process, they showed a high level of engagement and commitment to the team and project. Their approach was both thoughtful and pragmatic. They walked us through all of the necessary steps to ensure we’d be happy with the final result. It was a simple, yet comprehensive process.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of anything.
Any advice for potential customers?
Clients should clearly establish their expectations as early as possible, and make sure the project plan and proposal align with the requirements for each phase of work. From there, millermedia7 will handle it. They really know what they’re doing.

Web App Dev for Housework Contracting Company
“They’re always available and willing to adapt to any changes we need to make.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of House at Work, a company that connects homeowners with home improvement contractors in their area.
What challenge were you trying to address with millermedia7?
We’re an online platform, and we were looking to rebuild our platform from the bottom up.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had millermedia7 start from scratch, beginning from the conception stage. They then took the product from a prototype to a beta version. They’ve been with us through the entire process.
What is the team composition?
We mainly communicate with the project manager.
How did you come to work with millermedia7?
I interviewed several firms, got price quotes, and tried to feel out which would be the best fit. I wanted someone who would be a good balance between price and quality and who understood the needs of a startup, and millermedia7 was the best choice.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since March 2015.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The entire foundation of our company is the site, and millermedia7 has done an excellent job.
How did millermedia7 perform from a project management standpoint?
They take a helpful and hands-on approach to project management. I can tell them a general idea of what I want, and they’ll translate that into tactical steps and actions that need to happen to get the site developed.
We talk at least monthly, and more if we have a lot of dev work happening. Sometimes we talk several times a week, and they always understand exactly what we want. They’re always available and willing to adapt to any changes we need to make.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re one of the most inexpensive high-quality options that I found. Others might cost less, but they didn’t have the knowledge or wherewithal to do what I needed. They can take my broad concepts and turn them into well-executed end products without much oversight or guidance on my part. They’ve been able to accomplish every task we’ve given them so far.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Have a good idea of what you want and then let millermedia7 fill in the gaps.
millermedia7 provided talented designers and developers with creative problem-solving skills. The team delivered on time and under budget and collaborated effectively through Trello. The client highlighted their flexibility in assigning resources and changing the team composition on short notice.
