What challenge were you trying to address with MakeING?

We were looking to address how our website looked. We wanted to reorganize our brand and the products we had listed, breaking it down into a meaningful sales pitch.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We gave MakeING the materials we were working with, and they came back with a whole new design and layout. While we initially engaged them to redesign our website, they ended up redesigning how we promote and present our products. The team worked on our branding and how our services fit together by identifying how the site should look and flow.

We had one primary contact, who was the principal lead of the team. 

How did you come to work with MakeING?

We found MakeING on UpWork. The team was very engaging, and immediately had a plan for what they were going to do. They gave us the feeling that they could execute so we decided to move forward with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between $6,000–$10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May–July 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were very pleased with MakeING’s work. It made a difference in our work by narrowing down our offerings and bringing a focus to what we do as a company. 

How did MakeING perform from a project management standpoint?

Eugene (CEO) handled everything very well. We’d discuss where we were and what we needed to focus on next, agree, and get on with it. They were able to manage themselves and their own progress on the project. It was clear within a matter of weeks that MakeING was making strides and executing. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their main skills are in visualization. In terms of design, they have a really impressive ability to tie everything together. If all we had as a company was MakeING’s design work, we’d have a massive advantage. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think Eugene could’ve explained the service a bit more. We had an expectation at the start, and when he came back, we were kind of shocked. We were shocked in a good way, but we weren’t expecting them to work the way they did.
