Our collaboration with Launchr was a project spanning around 1.5 years, as we brought Launchr on very early in our process of conceptualizing Schedult. Launchr assisted with general business and IT strategy throughout the engagement, which ensured that we made many of the right decisions, ultimately resulting in early hyper-growth.
The structured engagement with Launchr helped us stay high-level and commercial while not drowning in the day-to-day. This included but was not limited to Business Diagnostics, Analytics, Tracking and Attribution strategy, Marketing strategy, Company management, IT strategy, and guidance.

We have been working with Kasper and Nio, the two co-founders.

Launchr came in to help us in a time where we transitioning our business from a glorified 1 man team (basically it was me with 2 assistants) into a structured organization with clear operational procedures. The goal was to free up my time from operations so that I could focus on scaling the business.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Deciding to engage with Launchr was a no brainer for us. Kasper and Nio, were extremely motivated, experienced and patient with us. They have a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of business management and were able to identify a roadmap that suited our business the best. From building a custom interface for our operations on Clickup, to creating a CEO dashboard for me and even stepping in as a 'co-founder' in monthly financial board meetings, they have broadened my perspective on my business and allowed me to think much bigger.

We started off with identifying where we could remove me as a dependency. So we started with operations. Kasper advised and built a custom clickup workflow for our operations team so we know at which stage each project is and which member of our team is responsible. He was also able to link each part of the project to useful lists such as contacts, accounting, locations etc that we can use in our ecosystem for future marketing and internal communications.
Once we had clickup set up, we started our journey on taking the company from a task-driven organization to a goals-driven organization. Nio and Kasper helped me step into my CEO role and allowed me to understand where my time is best spent. They also helped me set overarching for my management team so they could manage tasks within their teams.
We also worked on marketing initiatives. They put together a step-by-step marketing plan on how we can target our customers online. They also helped to build a wireframe for a new website. We are now focusing more on the financial side of the business and looking at how to decrease our costs while increasing quality, efficiency and ultimately, profit.

We never had any issues. They were always very responsive on slack and went out of their way to make sure we were making progress in all aspects.

We needed a revamping of our whole mobile presence and identity. Our old mobile app which customers used to send in receipts and information was massively out-of-date having been developed 6 years prior.
The customers (although happy with our service) were actively complaining about the state and functionality of our app. We needed to find a partner that could succesfully combine functionality and design with the latest technological opportunities in the mobile device field. That's when we came in contact with Launchr.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We we first contacted Launchr they setup an online meeting, where we could described our issues and challenges on the mobile front, and the wishes (although not very articulated) that we had for a new mobile app and a new mobile identity.
The Launchr team were great in this process and helped guide us through many of the issues that we hadn't even considered. It was a good experience for us, and helped us articulate and specify what we were looking for in the future.
Within a week of the meeting the Launchr team came back with the first draft of a wireframe model with all our high level thoughts incorporated in the design, which clearly showed us that they had understood our overall vision and even helped us express our wishes more clearly.

Based on the initial wireframe prototype we had a number of discovery meetings where we clarified the goals and functionality, and we then proceeded to work our way through all functionality of the different screens of the app.
After every session Launchr would present us with an updated version of the prototype model, which now also started to include specific designs. During this process we ended up changing a lot of the initial ideas for even better and more functional options.
Eventually the design process was finished and Launchr delivered clear design specs that were used for developing the actual app.

Kick off meeting to understand objectives Many workshops to refine the product proposition using some techniques - I had a clunky vision. They reached into my brain and turned that with me into a product proposition. Then they helped me develop a plan to market it. And then talked through a few different paths to get to the endgame fast with cash or slow with less cash; but constantly helped prevent me diving in and over-investing.
Launchr helped me not stop until I'd got to something I could start building.

2 founders helping. One more on the how. One more on the what. At times it's confronting having your vision challenged on the what - but it was absolutely invaluable.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Conscious decisions not to overinvest in something hopelessly complicated early was the biggest success. A clear decision on a cheap development path and testing. Pre-market research complete and product defined. Product plan, and an array of tools given (which was their scope). Next stage funding is pending.

Awesome. Fun. Fair. Flexible. They were great to work with and were patient. Not afraid to speak the truth.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They would probably be proudest of the structured tools. And they were important. But important was the reality checking going on; and their ability to illustrate a discussion with their own narratives and examples.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not really. Couldn't fault them.
