Key deliverables include guided onboarding and a hair health assessment; personalized product and routine recommendations; hair shedding, scalp image, and progress tracking; blood test uploads and results; an in-app AI chat assistant; reminders and daily check-ins; product shopping and reordering; and iOS and Android testing ahead of launch.

Some deliverables took longer than initially expected, particularly during testing and refinement, but they communicated with us and worked through the issues.

What challenge were you trying to address with JPLoft?

I was in a pinch when another development company left me hanging on my project and failed to get it completed. JPLoft stepped in professionally and quickly to straighten it out and continue to help me build my end goal.

What was the scope of their involvement?

JPLoft has helped get EquiFinds’ existing WordPress/WooCommerce website and React Native mobile app running more reliably. Their work has focused on troubleshooting shopping and selling issues left incomplete or implemented incorrectly by previous developers. We’ve also discussed a future custom build to replace the current platform in the near future.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clearest measurable outcome is that EquiFinds finally was able to launch its iOS and Android apps. JPLoft has also resolved several technical issues, including WordPress, server, and app bug fixes, and additional feature deployments. Overall, they respond in a timely manner, and the issues are resolved to my satisfaction.

JPLoft has been responsive and willing to work through issues as they come up. They’ve communicated with me about the fixes underway and our plans for a future custom build. Because much of the work involved correcting problems left by previous developers, priorities shifted as new issues surfaced. They have helped us navigate the best route forward.

We needed help with the full development of our app and website.

JPLoft has designed and developed our app and website. The team has created an admin portal to keep our app updated with content. JPLoft has also built a fully functioning app for health and well-being with in-depth logic, a mindfulness section, a cardio trainer, guided exercises, a stretch library, and a community section.

We started working with JPLoft in February 2026, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We're still in development, but JPLoft has given us full access to Figma during the design process. We've had meetings to discuss certain elements and provide feedback. The team moves very quickly and hits all milestones on time or before. We're currently looking at completing the project in half the time we initially estimated.

So far, JPLoft has completed the mobile app UI, app UX, and backend setup. We've tested all milestones and provided feedback. The team is very quick to implement changes, and we've noticed improvements in the app's flow and visual design. JPLoft has a very good understanding of what we're looking for.

How did JPLoft perform from a project management standpoint?

JPLoft's project management is outstanding and better than expected. The delivery time is exceptional. We communicate via virtual meetings and a messaging app.

What did you find most impressive about them?

JPLoft's personal service is impressive. We have a project manager on hand via WhatsApp to answer queries almost instantly. The team has managed to support us every step of the way and explain the process. This is our first app development project, and we went into it without any prior knowledge. JPLoft has helped us bring our idea to life.

There's nothing JPLoft could improve on. I've been extremely satisfied with our project so far.

I will admit, while the team has done a great job and we have really found a good flow, initially there was a gap between project management, development, and design. I felt like I had clearly communicated to the design team what I was looking for, but the dev team had not grasped it. Maybe it was a communication gap (and time zone gap). But we worked to sort it out. I learned to become my own "project manager" in a way, which was a good learning experience for me as an entreprenuer anyhow.

They helped us move from PHP to JavaScript. It wasn’t just moving stuff, they rebuilt the whole thing in a way that fits how we work now. They built a custom dashboard where staff and vendors can check tasks, upload files, and track progress. It also has ERP features that keep everything in sync. We use it to run daily tasks, assign work, and stay on top of projects.

The system is way faster and smoother now. Our project tracking is better, vendors can see what’s going on, and our response time improved. Compared to our last team, JPLoft worked almost twice as fast. The platform they built is now a big part of how we run things.

They didn’t manage the project for us, but they stayed in touch daily. We talked on Google Chat and used Google Docs.

JPLoft was provided with a Business Requirements Document and various descriptions of what the app should look like and how it should function.

The deliverable was a v1 prototype of a highly customized web application that would provide users with an interactive and educational experience. We agreed upon a timeline that aligned with a biweekly pay schedule. Assistance was provided in acquiring a web domain and AWS hosting.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We used Monday.com to list out all tasks that needed to be completed. These were systematically addressed, and their completion tracked.

Due to the custom nature of the project, many of the tasks involved significant trial and error. Deliverables were reported on time, but we often had to have them go back and rework the issue a few times. This was expected and not seen as a problem in any way. They were always very responsive, providing a reply with one business day.

I was most happy that they treated me with care and respect, even though I'm just one person and my project was relatively small (and probably a little difficult). I felt like my business mattered to them, and that was very gratifying.

I think greater pre-planning and deeper examination of the design challenges in the beginning could have been beneficial, and led to greater efficiency during the production phase.

They even integrated all the features we needed to connect with our refill kiosks and make plastic-free shopping feel effortless for users.

We just launched our beta version, and let me tell you, the feedback has been incredible. Users love how intuitive the app is and how smoothly it runs on both platforms. We’re seeing engagement numbers higher than expected, which tells me people are really connecting with what we’ve built.

A standout feature we wanted was a hydration tracker integrated with our platform usage. JPLoft was tasked with designing, developing, and fine-tuning the entire thing. They also helped us integrate payment systems and ensured the app was intuitive for all users.
