Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We were producing a children’s television series featuring the children's books of Anthony DeStefano. We needed a 30-second opening featuring 2D animation of the host in his studio setting, reading a book. After he opens a children’s picture book we needed a zoom into the book from over his shoulder, to begin another animated section, featuring multiple, playful, colorful characters from Anthony's children's books. The ending needed to have the title card of the show, with a logo, and all the characters around the card. All of this had to be synched to our opening music. IdeaRocket was tasked with creating the storyline for this opening, doing all the animation, logo creation and audio.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We received the completed animated opening on time and on budget.

The collaboration between IdeaRocket and our company was consistent, frequent, friendly, thoughtul, professional, and highly competent. 

We received updates and rough footage of work in progress, and were given the opportunity to give feedback and revisions, and all of our suggestions were swiftly taken into account.

The end-product exceeded our expectations to a high degree. Everyone on our team was more than thrilled about the opening of the show.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The project managemnt was extraordinarily professional. When there needed to be substantive discussion, we have virtual meetings witht their key players; when there were specific questions that needed to be answered, we used email messages-- also copied to the entire team so that everyone was in the loop. We were kept abreast of progress, sent updates, and sent draft footage for our feedback and approval. They responded to every question, concern and need we presented, and the  project was completed well before the deadline.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What was most impressive was their blend of competence, professionalism, flexibility, affability, and most importantly their creative brilliance, love of artistry and the pride they take in their work. They really became invested in this project, and we felt they wanted to produce something beautiful,  not just because they were hired to, but because they took pleasure and pride in the process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something IdeaRocket could have done differently?

Frankly and honestly, there is absolutely nothing IdeaRocket could have done better. We have rarely had such a uniformly great experience working with another company. I wouldn't want them to change a thing. We are eager to work with them again on another project.
