They've planned whole customer journey, content (including creation), lead generation and set up of CRM with the integrations. Their goal was to also improve organic traffic from Google on high intent landing pages and improve the journey on the website, as well as increase converison rate on our final form.

I'm the marketing manager for Polcode, a software house located in Poland. We have over 150 employees and specialize in many areas of software development. We focus on web development and e-commerce development, using PHP and Magento. Additionally, we provide a staff augmentation service.

What challenge were you trying to address with Horizon Marketing?
I joined Polcode in April 2024 to improve the company's marketing efforts. At the same time, Horizon Marketing started working for us as well for the same purpose. Thus, I'm the one responsible for managing our cooperation.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We've hired Horizon Marketing to run our PPC campaigns on LinkedIn. They denominate themselves as a demand generation company, which is what they do for us. We use their marketing and demand generation services to help us improve our LinkedIn presence. With their help, we're targeting specific verticals and target groups of potential customers. Basically, they help us reach out to those customers.
Initially, we provided Horizon Marketing with more than a simple brief. Our collaboration started with a series of four online workshops in which several members of our company were involved, including sales representatives, project managers, developers, delivery managers, and me, representing our marketing department.
As mentioned, we're currently running LinkedIn ads, we plan to include Google Ads and Meta Ads as part of our strategy. Horizon Marketing already works as if they were part of our marketing team, so we want to continue working together on additional campaigns and marketing media.
Horizon Marketing also offers other services, such as SEO, but we don't use them yet. However, we've leveraged their expertise to configure our HubSpot environment. Their team has also helped us configure our analytics tools.
What is the team composition?
During the initial workshops, two teammates from Horizon Marketing were involved. Currently, we work with Nikodem (Head of Growth) on a daily basis, who acts as our project manager. He's my main point of contact. Moreover, Mateusz (Owner) takes care of the technical side, which includes the analytics and HubSpot configuration, as well as setting up our ads.
How did you come to work with Horizon Marketing?
As mentioned, Horizon Marketing started working for us at the same time I joined, so I wasn't part of the initial hiring process. As far as I know, it was actually Horizon Marketing who reached out to Polcode. After some interviews, my company decided to hire them.
How much have you invested with them?
We pay them a $2,000 fee per month, not including the actual cost of the ads.
What is the status of this engagement?
As mentioned, we started working together in April 2024. We plan to continue our engagement as a long-term partnership.

Our initial workshops with Horizon Marketing were very helpful in understanding and narrowing down our target audience. Thanks to that initial assessment, our ads are now running quite successfully. The results have come relatively quickly; we weren't expecting to get leads from these ad campaigns so fast.
Just after two weeks of setting up and launching our first campaigns, we started getting marketing-qualified leads. Now, we're receiving a regular volume of leads, which is very important for us. These results show that the initial workshops worked out very well because we're now targeting companies we already would like to work with. Although the volume of leads hasn't increased, the quality of those leads is really great.

Although Horizon Marketing can run workshops very well, it's best to be prepared and know what you want to advertise. That way, you will shorten the time it takes from hiring them to launching the first campaign. The best approach is to do some preliminary work before starting your marketing activities with Horizon Marketing.

As a company, we needed to reach out for support in managing our LinkedIn Ads account, in addition to Content Strategy optimization and Marketing Strategy review. Back then, I was almost a one-man marketing army in the company, so although I had expertise in fields that guys from Horizon opted to deliver, I just needed additional pairs of hands to keep things going.
My main goal was to create a strategy for Account Based Marketing activities from scratch. With a new website and some content support on top of that, we wanted to start creating awareness throughout our clientele. Then, after creating the strategy, their main goal was to basically report and optimize existing campaigns, on top of new ideas, to create demand within our ICP in a convincing way.

Well, I think in some cases, the things we were going through while we were reporting were pretty hard to sell to the C-Level executives in our company. Also, focusing just on ABM is a pretty long-term goal, and it requires consistency and commitment, which sometimes can be missed in an environment of hard pressure and lead-focused goals.
However, I'm pretty sure that guys learned their lesson from the time we were cooperating, and they can be extraordinary partners for companies without a clear marketing vision.
