We needed someone to help us turn our Google Chrome plugin into a full-blown web app.

Guaranteed Software provides us with custom software development, specifically rebuilding our Google Chrome plugin from scratch to create a web portal with a Chrome component.

They mainly utilize Laravel for the development and some of the features of the app includes a sales contact management page and a backend for our admins to manage our subscriptions.

Our ongoing partnership started in August 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since partnering with Guaranteed Software, we’ve been able to significantly increase our active users from 100 to 800.

How did Guaranteed Software perform from a project management standpoint?

They manage our project well and deliver everything on time. Everything is done through Asana, and we typically communicate through Slack and have weekly meetings on Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with how their ability to execute our high-level vision for the product without too much involvement on my part.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’m very satisfied with how everything is going, so I don’t have any constructive feedback.

My advice is to just have a clear vision of where you want your software to go and what you’re looking to achieve.

We’ve hired about five developers before engaging Guaranteed Software, and I can confirm that their team alone has met our exact needs and expectations. They’ve seamlessly brought our vision to life without requiring a lot of work from our end.

How did Guaranteed Software perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicate via Slack and manage deliverables via Asana and GitHub. Guaranteed Software is a communicative partner with a highly organized workflow. We can always depend on them to walk us through every step of the process.

We’re most impressed with their on-point communication skills.

They’ve done a phenomenal job — I don’t think there’s anything else to improve.

Have a clear understanding of your goals and be ready to spend a good amount of money to meet those.

I’m the e-commerce director at Digest Publishing, a financial publishing company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Guaranteed Software?

We needed someone to provide us with web and e-commerce development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re working with Guaranteed Software in connecting marketing technologies together to build our online profiles, and segment new marketing or fulfillment subscription materials to subscribers.

We're currently updating our URL structure for our order pages so when someone buys a product, we can capture their information and simultaneously send it to our email platform. Furthermore, they’ve developed a couple of sites that are built on Python with the Django interface, and another one that’s built on Webflow that connects with our Django database to authenticate users.

I found Leon (CEO) through Upwork and worked with him exclusively. After he got used to our workflow, he then introduced other people to the project to take on some of the work so he can find other clients.

Our ongoing partnership started in February 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Most of the features that they’ve deployed seem to have success in the long run. They also communicate goals with me really well, so they help me figure out how to do any task correctly the first time around.

How did Guaranteed Software perform from a project management standpoint?

I feel like the work that we request from them does take time and sometimes they tend to overpromise on the delivery, but we’re also been trying to get the right balance of working on many things at once — with that said, I think their turnaround time is reasonable.

We mainly use Slack and JIRA to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their technical versatility and ability to take on different types of requests. They’re very skilled to jump into new platforms or APIs just to work with me and understand what our problems are to try and solve them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve on scheduling and deployment times, as well as being clear with what development tickets are included in the deployment.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would suggest making sure that the problem you’re trying to solve is clear on your ticket request. Have the goal of what you’re trying to solve and be open-minded.

We are a fulfillment center that specializes in dietary supplements and alternative food and health products. Our facility primarily fulfills packages and orders that come in, storing, packing, and delivering them to the post office. We also do lab tests on our products to make sure that they are good and ready for the user.

What challenge were you trying to address with Guaranteed Software?

We turned to Guaranteed Software for their SEO, PPC, and digital marketing services. 

What was the scope of their involvement?

Guaranteed Software automated our emails in order to get more people and return customers. Our website is on WordPress with WooCommerce and the team reworked all of its core metrics and enhanced its UX to make it easier for us to collect data from visitors and potential customers. 

They also did press releases and backlinking for us. I have a writer from another agency who supplied all of the content, but Guaranteed Software was the one who advised us on which keywords to use. They also hired a photographer and redid all of the photos on our website.

I’ve recently hired some developers from their team to do some fixing and maintenance on our website.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since October 2020. We’re planning to continue working with them as long as they keep up the quality of their work. 

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Guaranteed Software has done a good job. I can attribute the 40% increase in our revenue to them. We now also have 100 keywords in the number one position on Google search results and around monthly organic visitors.

How did Guaranteed Software perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re good at sticking to the budget and timeline. We experienced a little bit of a learning curve in the beginning since they’re a European company and their sense of work urgency is different from ours in the US. Despite that, though, whenever I ask them to fix something, they’ll get to it within the next 24 hours. 

We communicate through Skype and Slack. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

One thing that makes them different from other vendors is their understanding of the SEO process. Guaranteed Software is not just trying to sell their services, they truly do want to help increase our ratings using their years and years of SEO experience. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could benefit from having a better writer in their team.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Guaranteed Software might get you to do a little bit more than is needed to start, but that’s not them trying to be deceptive. Start with something you’re comfortable with, and make sure everything is agreeable and working well before you increase or go any further.
