Please describe your company and your position there.
ONEiO is a cloud-native integration service provider connecting people, processes, and tools – enabling seamless collaboration without traditional integration hassle. By using our Integration Automation platform, the solution is provided as a turn-key solution, self-service, or something in between. My Growth position at ONEiO consists of owning the growth experiments backlog, roadmap and KPIs throughout the AAARRR growth funnel.
For what projects/services did your company hire Flinch 77, and what were your goals?
The old website was built on WordPress in a very closed manner, almost making it impossible to make changes and updates - this led us to an unsatisfying vendor-lock-inn and long lead times, making it a pain to make changes or even just to implement best practices. All the changes require professional development, which is both costly and took significant time.
Our goal is to build a website that is conversion optimizated, fast and flexible for changes and experimentation. We hired Flinch 77 to help us over the migration and to build a whole website based on Figma files.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were looking for a vendor who could react in a short time, run the process together with us and charge only for things we were in need of. Also, we were looking for someone that is easy to work with.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
- Phase 0 — Internal Set up: Our internal kickoff process and setup of the project.
- Phase I — Web Audit & Homepage Development
- Phase II — Desktop Development of all pages: In Phase 2, we will develop each of the remaining subpages and connect them to the Webflow CMS if applicable. Additional modifications to the home page and global navigation system are also implemented at this time. At the end of this phase, all pages, sections and elements are created.
- Phase III — Responsiveness Development: After approval of the desktop version, we will make all pages responsive — both for smaller screens (e.g. tablet, mobile) and large screens (UH-D & 4k)*.
- Phase VI — Animations, Interactions and integrating third-party apps
- After approval of the responsive views, we'll start the pre-final phase: - (micro-)interactions will be added to buttons, links and interactive elements - subtle transition will be added to sections, imagery and text - third-party integrations will be added (E.g. Google Analytics, Hotjar, Multi-language, etc).
- Phase V — Testing, Migration & Training: In the final phase, we will test the complete website, provide basic training on how to use the project — and help you launch the website!
- **Testing** The website will be tested to perform accurately on the latest release of each major browser platform: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Internet Explorer on desktop. Responsive versions will be tested on iOS and Android. Final changes and corrections will be made.
- **Training** A 2-hour live training and Q&A on how to use the Webflow CMS, create new pages & sections and edit text & change images. A list of additional (learning) resources will be provided if needed.
- **Migration & Launch** The complete Webflow project will be transferred to client Webflow account. We'll offer support with connecting the domain, making sure the website is properly indexed by google and all old links redirect to the new site.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We were working with only one person, and have no further knowledge on how many people could have been involved in a specific part of the project.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After launching the website we have seen a huge increase in the site health scores and have been able to make the required edits ourselves. We got the flexibility and conversion optimization we were looking for. The quality of the work was top notch and we received all the possible help in every part of the project.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The project management style is easy-going, yet very structured and well planned, making it easy for a client to follow the process and discuss the next steps. When we needed to discuss something in-depth, we were able to organize a meeting within the same or the next day. Also, communication through Slack was super easy.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their communication was quick and easy-going with top-notch quality of work and continuous over-delivery.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We cannot come up with anything we would change in their behavior or project delivery.
Thanks to Flinch 77's efforts, the client got the high-quality product and conversion optimization they wanted. The new website had a massive increase in site health scores. The team supported the client throughout the project and implemented detailed and well-planned project management.
