Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the COO of Michigan Herbal Remedies and we’re a manufacturer of CBD products. We have a wholesale business and a direct consumer business.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Oh Hello Branding Group?

Oh Hello is currently leading our e-commerce and direct-to-consumer marketing efforts, as well as some branding efforts.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We engaged with Oh Hello about 30–60 days ago for the initial handshake, contract signing, and scoping of the project. The services they provide pretty much include the rebuilding of our e-commerce website, branding, and creative work to make sure that we have a great image on our website. They’re building the platform using WooCommerce.

We are also currently looking for outbound marketing efforts, as well SEO content and personifications to grow our business. Phase two of the project is the secondary action of cleaning up and recycling old content that we had, and making big improvements. Additionally, they’re also helping us update our CRM platform for B2C.

What is the team composition?

I work with Alex (CEO), Kayla (Founder), and Brittany (Marketing Project Manager).

How much have you invested with them?

We’re contracted with Oh Hello for about $5,000 a month.

What is the status of this engagement?

The ongoing partnership started in March 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t seen the results yet because we literally just went live and they’re just about to start promotions, but Oh Hello has been extremely proactive and engaged. They pushed us outside of what we’ve never really looked at before, and they’ve introduced some new perspectives to the business that we haven’t had in the past.

So far, their work is extremely high-quality, and I’m very happy with what they’re able to do. They brought us options to the table and since they’re local, they’ve been able to support us very well — they’re great partners.

How did Oh Hello Branding Group perform from a project management standpoint?

They use a platform called Monday to help organize the project. They use that for big milestones and events, but as far as communications go, we use phones and email to go back and forth all the time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed by their personal contact. I worked with other SEO and web development companies in the past, but Oh Hello is just very personable, engaged, and they bring quite a full package to the table.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’ll see. Maybe after 30–60 days, I can answer that question better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

One piece of advice I can give is to always be open to new ideas.
