Our goal is to develop a web and mobile interface that connects Automobile spare part enquirers with sellers through a platform. the application should look good, attract more users, and be simple to use. Our key requirement a cross-platform mobile application and web admin panel to manage users and subscribers

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• After UAT, We tested this application under heavy users load using performance test metrics, application working very well under all stress and load testing factors. Application is able to handle 100k users at any point of time in stress testing
• At present we are doing digital marketing and getting users downloads and new users every day and our application working perfectly with all new users
• Admin panel is very fast and within seconds we can load it the web interface

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Initially, at the beginning of the project, they have given a sprint-wise project management and project delivery plan. They followed the same plan and delivered all committed deliverables as per the plan. Whenever we requested change requests or additional features, they accommodated them all without much cost. They respond very quickly to our requests and are able to solve any production issues within four hours turnaround time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their developer's knowledge, experience, coding standards, and on-time delivery greatly impressed us. They have allocated highly experienced developers for a medium-budget project

Are there any areas for improvement or something Henote Technologies could have done differently?

Being a start-up we don’t have any suggestions for them, I suggest they add more developers when we come up with some sudden ad-hoc requests.

What challenge were you trying to address with Henote Technologies?

We hired Henote Technologies as developers and we worked with them on the machine learning side of our project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

It was a data science project, so it was a mix of fixed cost and some of their professional services, as well. We worked with a few of their developers on building some of our machine learning models. We worked with them for 8–9 months until we had our beta launch. We started off small with them and it ended up becoming a big team.

Initially, we started by defining the scope followed by monthly and quarterly deliverables. We liked their work, so we extended the project with them and started working with their developers as well — the whole project turned into more of a resource-based engagement. Some of the modules were already built internally by our team, but we onboarded them in the middle, so they helped us build some from scratch. 

They helped us build applications, initially, and then they helped us build machine learning models, as well, with a focus on retail. End to end, their services revolved around product development, as well as testing services and helping us with the deployment of the product. 

Until we had our beta launch, they provided us with complete support. Python and ReactJS were a couple of the technologies we used their skill sets for. 

What is the team composition?

I worked directly with the CEO, as well as with the technical architect. We were also assigned a project manager, but our main point of contact was the CEO.

How did you come to work with Henote Technologies?

We came across them through a Google search. We were very particular in terms of the work that they had previously done. We were building a product for retail, so we looked for someone that had previous experience working with the retail customer. They had strong expertise in that area and we spoke to the developers before we engaged with the team; we liked the developers and we decided to work with them after that.

How much have you invested in them?

Overall, the cost was somewhere between $90,000–$100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement ran from February 2019—January 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project was successful. We measured their success around the deliverables that we received. Looking at the subsequent launch of the product, all of the deliverables were on time and there were hardly any missed deadlines. 

How did Henote Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

We were very particular in terms of the project management tools we were using — we wanted them to use Jira and as well as our internal project management tool. Once we gave them access to it, they used the tool. 

We communicated with them on a daily basis. There was a Slack channel for communicating within the teams. We also had an internal team that worked directly with them, too. Henote Technologies gave us a report every fortnight in terms of their overall activity. They also pushed the code on a weekly basis. We had a good engagement and their team was solid — they really supported us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The technical skillset of the team was really great. The teammates we worked with were amazing and skilled developers. They were an excellent, professional team. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could have been more of a solution provider. We used to tell them exactly what we wanted, and then they developed it. If they were in a position to suggest what could’ve been better, that would have been good for us. However, we wanted what we wanted, and they developed that for us.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Henote Technologies was very good on the retail side, so if someone is looking for an end-to-end retail solution, I think they are the best team for it. They are really good at DevOps, as well, in terms of the process they follow and the complete code development.

We needed help with development. We wanted to create a stack for the end shopper.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Henote developed our software and app. They put our APIs in the app, which helped communicate the app to our cloud server. We had to have pictures embedded into the app. 

For the iOS app, they helped us to get the right architecture. They did the API development for the B2B scenario.

There was a coordinator and two developers.

We had worked with them in the past and had them on a list of companies to work with. Henote can deliver what we want. We approached them and they happily worked with us.

The total cost was between $6,000-$7,000.

The project took place from June-August 2019.

We don’t have much specific feedback for the work Henote did, but we got the results we were looking for. Their team is responsive and they solve any issues we raise and deliver on time. We’ve seen good internal feedback regarding their work.

Their project management is good. The team finished what we wanted and it met our expectations.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re open to change requests. We change things on the go that we hadn’t planned, and they’re always responsive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re already in the process of getting better quality resources. We definitely felt they could improve some of the skills like the AWS side and how we can improve the response on the servers. Some of the skills were really good.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have the requirements in place and the user acceptance testing signed up before you even start the development.

I was the former director of Direct Opportunities Network, which was an ultra-high-net-worth group that sourced investments globally, across many product and service sectors. We were generally selling or promoting significant projects, products, and services at a super-premium level.

My job was to ensure the promotion of that platform, and for us to do so, we needed a marketing company that also had talented developers to create a web platform and a promotional vehicle or mechanic for the network’s products and services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Henote Technologies created a website and marketing vehicle for us. We worked with them to define and design a platform that could promote real estate, investment opportunities, products and services, and luxury cars and boats.

What is the team composition?

The communication was with Sai (CEO). He coordinated a team of developers working in India and other parts of the world. I believe there were six people working on these projects at the time.

How did you come to work with Henote Technologies?

We were promoting multimillion-dollar projects and needed a premium provider of web design and development that also embraced communication with ultra-high-net-worth individuals. I’d had interactions with Sai on LinkedIn for around five years.

I was working in The Middle East as the commercial director of a large company, and I was setting up my own consulting business, which involved leaving the region. I spoke to Sai about it, and he proposed developing platforms and marketing solutions that embraced multimedia design and development.

I worked with Henote Technologies from June 2017–January 2018. The project timeline took six months from design to implementation.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Henote Technologies delivered beautifully on the project brief. It was a quality and discerning piece of work, and its communication was very clear. It was beautifully delivered.

How did Henote Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

There were many different parts to the project and tasks evolved on a daily basis. There were multiple stakeholders spread across the world, so there was an awful lot coming in all the time.

There were high expectations for Henote Technologies to deliver, and we wanted everything done yesterday. No marketing company can deliver quality work yesterday, so it was always delivered in a timely manner and in high quality.

Sai is a discerning individual. He understands quality and looks to please the client, and he’s a strong and effective communicator. We communicated through Skype, Facetime, WhatsApp, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They really look to understand the customer brief and deliver a quality piece of work. Henote Technologies delivered a strong product based on our clear instructions for delivery.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s always good to have a broad reach of developers, designers, and campaign managers when working on international projects. Clearly, Henote Technologies is expanding its reach globally, and that greater international development team will probably improve their product and project delivery potential.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It’s important for clients to be clear about what they want in terms of multimedia channels, target markets, and audiences. Like any marketing agency or project development team, Henote Technologies’ results are only as good as the client’s brief.
