I am CEO of remoty, which is an attendance & task management Slack integration designed for remote and hybrid teams.

For what projects/services did your company hire ENOU Labs?

We wanted to build a web application on which team leads could go and get a high level overview of their team and tasks in progress. The web application was slightly complicated as we not only needed to build a project management tool but we needed to build a billing, invoicing & payroll solution too.

How did you select this vendor?

ENOU labs provided their services to one of the company I previously worked at. The team's deliverables were of great quality and all deadlines were met on time. Considering the great experience my company had, I selected this vendor.

Their team spent good amount of time understanding our product, industry and users. We also shared our vision of keeping remoty Slack-first which was ultimately translated into information architectures, Lo-Fis and then High Fi design prototypes.

The designs were then properly handed off to our development team along with the instructions on design systems and components being used or customized.

We worked with two resources of ENOU labs:

• Product Designer
• Junior Product Designer

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The web application that ENOU team built has been loved by alot of our users.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Once we gave ENOU lab the project, we were taken on a video call for discovery meeting where both product designers understood our requirements. Post discovery, the junior product designer kept in touch with our Product Manager via Slack & WhatsApp.

Whenever, a milestone was complete we were called in for a demo meeting, in which we shared our feedback & the designs were then updated.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

• Their understanding of the users and industry was impressive.
• They built a very scalable design, now if we need to add or remove anything we have a framework which not only allows but guides us how to add new functionalities in the app.
• The design system they used was not very mainstream and it gave our web dashboard a more subtle/unique look.
• Our frontend developer was not very experienced. He often got stuck in implementing the designs. ENOU team went out of their way in ensuring that the designs were actually implemented by guiding our developer.s

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't think of anything significant that they need to improve. Maybe if they could also include assign a project coordinator to each project it would make information flow slightly more seamless.

Founder here at RepairDesk, a cloud-based point-of-sale software, engineered specifically for small and medium-sized computer and cell phone repair shops that allow repair shops to track & monitor repair jobs, stay on top of inventory, and manage multiple store locations. The software keeps track of inventory levels and notifies the business when a phone part is low and needs to be replenished so they can order parts.

For what projects/services did your company hire ENOU Labs?

RepairDesk classic version was launched in 2015 and we grew organically based on customer feedback. As time passed, the software became so complex that it was very hard to onboard a new merchant. We had a very high-touch sales and product onboarding process that was time-consuming and frustrating for our merchants.

Prior to working with ENOU labs we had in-house product designers who did a great job designing the classic version but lacked the capability to design a modern design for a repair shop management SaaS solution that will help us onboard 500 merchants per month. We reached out to ENOU labs to discuss & solve this unique problem where a repair shop owner can create their account and start using the software without contacting support.

ENOU Labs helped us with pretty much everything, including:

• Rebranding
• Website design & development in Webflow
• Complete product design of RepairDesk 2.0 version Android App

We were so happy with their service, that we decided to shut down our product design department and work with ENOU Labs for all of our product design needs. What we really like about working with ENOU labs is you give them a problem statement and that's it. They'll go, research, and showcase the solution that will blow your mind.

How did you select this vendor?

We came across ENOU Labs through an employee reference. Their CEO, Tahseen final year project was designing a tablet based POS system in his native language. When we looked at the project we instantly realized this is the right firm to do our product redesign.

We launched RepairDesk classic version in 2015 where onboarding a new merchant takes at least a good couple of weeks where a few merchants get annoyed and churn As we were growing we wanted to scale but we onboard 100 merchants and 30 will cancel the software subscription. To fix this leaky bucket we reached out to ENOU labs to solve this unique problem where we wanted to redesign the entire product so that a customer can create their account on RepairDesk and onboard themselves.

They started learning about the industry, interviewed customers back in Oct 2020, and shared the first prototype of repair ticket and POS system based on an Ant design system. When we looked at it we knew we have picked the right product design team and decided to start the development of the 2.0 version. It took us more than 15 months to design and develop the project.  ENOU labs was collaborative and cost-effective.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

ENOU Lab created a design framework using Ant Design that helped us fast-track product development, improve user experience and create design consistency throughout the product. We recently launched RepairDesk 2.0 product and have received nothing but good feedback on the user interface.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We introduced design sprints. A product owner adds a user story to a design sprint for new modules, they'll discuss the user story with the product owner (if required) and we used to do a design demo every week to share input. 97% of the time the design needed very little revisions but they were open to the feedback

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Even though it's a young team but their knowledge about product design is great. If you're looking for someone who can take the pain out of designing a modern and enterprise-grade product, you should be talking to ENOU Labs

What challenge were you trying to address with ENOU Labs?

I wanted to create an online course for people and needed help doing so.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I shared my ideas and content with ENOU Labs, and they created my online course. Users could log in to our portal in order to access the teaching course on how to become successful entrepreneurs. The team was also in charge of web design.

A friend recommended them to me, and I felt confident in their abilities after speaking to them.

We worked together from September–November 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Due to circumstances, we weren’t able to push the course since launching at the beginning of November. However, ENOU Labs’ work exceeded my expectations; they took my ideas and turned them into reality. Overall, I was very satisfied with the product they created for us.

How did ENOU Labs perform from a project management perspective?

They were available and responsive, answering all of my questions and concerns along the way. They also did a great job at meeting deadlines. We communicated via WhatsApp and phone.

They were attentive, and they provided timely feedback.

For creating a website for a digital literary magazine that is updated monthly.

Great company reputation, very efficient services and excellent design sense.

We had a quite a few meetings for the site design. WordPress was used for the final design. We needed an efficient and aesthetically pleasing digital magazine layout and they delivered on all fronts.

Great feedback from contributors to the site. The aesthetics, the layout, and the overall design have all been commented on very favorably. Site traffic has also been steady.

Though we had a bit of a hiccup launching, we were able to meet the deliverables in a timely adjusted schedule.

We communicated through Google Chat, they are using Jira for bug reporting. The management and style are quite efficient and they also accommodate our style.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I'm impressed with their patience, understanding, and efficiency. They accommodate our various circumstances and are always there to respond whenever we need them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

While the quality of work is great, I would have preferred to be able to get the documentation and access to the system so we can have our inhouse team have a look at the system.

I'm the owner of a Web Development Business.

I outsourced work to ENOU Labs on behalf of a Client. We needed to fix issues on a Magento E-Commerce site and eventually develop a new site on Wordpress.

ENOU Labs were recommended to me by another developer in my area.

We had multiple calls with a representative which were extremely helpfull in getting the project started. The team communicated with us during the whole project. The project involved Magento 2, Wordpress, PHP, Woocommerce.

I interacted mainly with one representative who was very professional and easy to talk to.

Bugs were fixed very quickly and development progressed quickly also. They are very committed to finding the best solution for issues.

We had regular check-ups and updates from the team. We used slack to communicate.

I’m the manager at one of the locations of First Response Phone Repair. We repair phones, and we sell used devices and accessories and a lot of different assets of electronic devices.

What challenge were you trying to address with ENOU Labs?

We had an old website, and we were in need of a new website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ENOU Labs has helped us carry over a lot of aspects from our old website to a Webflow platform. They’ve also developed an online store on the site using Shopify, allowing us to present our products. In addition, they’ve contributed to our SEO efforts, to ensure that we’re visible to all the people who are trying to find us. The team is currently tweaking and finalizing some things on the website.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with their whole team, but we mainly work with Osama (Principal Engineer).

How did you come to work with ENOU Labs?

The ENOU Labs team was recommended by a trustworthy company we were working with. The team showed a presentation featuring what they could do for us, and they presented a project they did for another company. In the end, we really liked their design and the different things they provided. Their work showed that they could help us promote our business, to make it more presentable and accessible.

We’ve spent $5,000–$6,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing collaboration started in February 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They’ve created a presentable and modern website, and a lot of our customers are happy with our platform’s new look. The team’s output is really a step up from our old website.

How did ENOU Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a good project management process, and though we’re in different time zones, they’re willing to go above and beyond to support us. As an example, they stay up late to accommodate our needs. Furthermore, they give us everything we need, and whenever we have questions, they answer them. We communicate through Google Meet and FaceTime.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They offer competitive rates, and we’re impressed that they know what they’re doing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. Everything is great.

I’d recommend ENOU Labs to whoever needs their services because they can pretty much nail everything on the head.

We needed a UX expert well versed in Shopify's Polaris framework to refresh our SaaS dashboard.

Enou team started with an audit of hotjar recordings, heatmaps and our goals for the redesign. This lead to initial wireframes, followed by final figma drawings.

ENOU Labs did an excellent job on this project, and came up with numerous improvements that we hadn't considered. End result has been great.

Enou team was very easy to reach and displayed a deep understanding of SaaS industry. This made things easier and we were on the same page right off the bat.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I'm very impressed by the deep understanding Enou team has about UX, complemented by their graphic design skills.

If Enou can provide an end-to-end solution that includes UX design and frontend development, they'd be unstoppable.
