Vitelity is a company specializing in wholesale VolP solutions for resellers of their products and services focusing on both businesses and end consumers.

We needed to make a statement, drive awareness, and increase interaction with their customer base.

Vitelity needed posters, stand-up displays to use for event marketing purposes, and a website redesign with a new branding effort to make sure that their

newly-established look and feel was consistent across all of their marketing materials.

The two things that set Vitelity apart from their competitors are experience and longevity. They have a rich history, and having been in the business communications industry for over a decade, they boast an impressive amount of expertise. Additionally, they have technology that provides them with a competitive advantage, allowing them to deliver complex communications A consistent marketing approach starts with a branded visual identity. Our task was to help Vitelity define what their company goals were so that they could reach their target market more effectively. We did this by developing a brand and style guide, so that Vietlity could see where their brand was currently, where it was going, and how their marketing materials could help them reach more potential clients.

Pickens Technical College (PTC) is a community college located in Aurora, Colorado. It offers students the chance to learn the skills they’ll need to pursue a successful career in anything from graphic design to automotive repair and everything in between. PTC’s philosophy is to let its students learn by doing the things they’ll be expected to do once they enter the workforce.

We were tasked with developing an

integrated marketing plan for PTC that allowed them to connect with prospective students and explain the benefits of the technical college framework – a quicker path to a degree, experienced instructors, and hands-on learning opportunities. Our plan incorporated content marketing, social media campaigns, and more.

Along with our marketing campaign, we developed the materials to promote it. This included printed marketing materials, a revamped website, and even apparel.

Advanced Vision Technologies Trade Show Marketing

AVT is a unique contact lens manufacturer that combines real-world experience with expert consultation to meet the most challenging contact lens demands. They specialize in the innovative design of premium and specialty contact lenses, providing optometrists with exceptional products and support.

AVT needed tradeshow graphics for the Global Specialty Lens Symposium (GSLS), a conference focused on the management of

ocular conditions using specialty contact lenses and continued education efforts. Since this was the biggest show of the season, it was very important that AVT make a splash that introduced their new design system, drove awareness, increased prospects within their sales funnel, and provided events in a fun, stress-free environment.

AVT differentiates themselves by providing contact lenses that are not required to have a fitting set, which results in less time needed to fit the lenses. This ultimately results in cost savings for the target market as they spend less time on each patient. They also wanted to communicate a secondary message that their lenses ensure OD’s have an easier time fitting, inserting and removing the product on the patient. This results in a patient who has less anxiety, pain, and is ultimately more satisfied with the entire process, resulting in a better brand image for both optometrists (ODs) and AVT.

Back in 2015, PTC interviewed several agencies, and based on their experience and skillset, the decision makers at the time believed they were the best equipped to help us reach our goals. We’ve been working with them ever since.

They wrote the scripts, brought in all the production equipment, made the required edits, and worked in conjunction with the school’s marketing department to ensure that everything adhered to our brand standards.

What was the team composition?

I had day-to-day contact with the president (Adam), who was great. He managed the other people within the agency, specifically those who wrote the scripts and shot the video. He worked hand-in-hand with us to ensure our goals were synced and aligned. The entire team was very accessible and easy to work with.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

So far, our results have been great. We have kept our numbers steady, and implemented campaigns to capture more potential students’ attention through videos, social campaigns, and paid advertising.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have regular meetings, and everything has flowed smoothly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I am impressed with the knowledge and dedication from Adam, who is the pseudo-manager of our account. He is very accessible and spends a lot of time assessing results, making recommendations, and challenging our thinking, all of which are, in my opinion, signs of a healthy business relationship.

Not as of now. We’re on the right path and we plan on sticking to it.

We vetted a few other agencies, and encite’s strategic and tactical abilities were apparent.

encite started by doing a brand audit across all channels, identifying main pain points and growth areas. They reviewed their findings with us, and we determined what our highest priorities were. From there, a big part of the work was finding a way to restructuring our message without negatively impacting our existing audience. They developed creative and copy, and engaged in weekly catch-up sessions to collaboratively brainstorm, explain their thinking and keep us in the loop.

What was the team composition?

We worked closely with the President and his team, including a Creative Director and VP of Strategy.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were very pleased with the messaging they developed. Although we were not able to move forward with the campaign, encite helped us zero in on our brand and pointed us in the right direction for future implementation.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was effective. They were very responsive via email and available to Zoom. The weekly meetings were run efficiently and productively. The relationship was collaborative and we appreciated that they received feedback well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The entire team had a very strong sense of strategic and tactical knowledge, which gave us a confidence in them that unfortunately you don’t always get when working with agencies. They were reliable, demonstrated efficient project management and quickly aligned themselves with our business goals. We never had any real issues.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We’ve been very satisfied with these guys. I can’t really think of anything that needs immediate improvement in terms of encite’s deliverables. We were really impressed.

I’m the executive chairman of the Seattle Fish Company, a sustainable seafood company in Denver and was the past Chairman of the Green & Gold Foundation, an independent organization that raises money to donate back to Colorado State University.

I was working to help rebrand the Green & Gold Foundation, starting with website and logo development.

We wanted an agency that would guide us through the process of defining the brand and help us with visual elements.

How did you select this vendor?

I’d known Adam for some time through our involvement in the Green and Gold Foundation. I reached out to him, and we started talking. I quickly realized that I was working with the right person for the job.

Encite guided us through branding activities, and reworked the logo and website so they better communicated what we do. and that can continue to grow in the future.

What was the team composition?

I worked primarily with Adam, the president. He delegated to his staff, who did everything from the physical design to the website concepts.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Encite helped me encompass the whole organization into a cohesive brand that is going to bring us success moving forward. We have continued to add members at a steady rate and continue to see more engagement from local alumni.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Their team was great. Adam always followed up to see what had been effective, how things were received, and if there was anything else we needed to do. They kept in close contact, especially in the beginning stages of developing the logo, the colors and the content. They made sure we was getting the response that we were looking for.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Encite truly understands that it’s about the customer’s success and not theirs. Unlike a lot of companies, they’re not trying to create something they like, but something you will. They understand the market and use that expertise to fulfill their customer’s vision.

Adam and his team helped us develop the ideas that were already in our head, and turn the creative ideas into physical deliverables that we have been able to put into practice - our case, the logo and website. We didn’t really know what message we should be communicating, much less how to do so. Adam and his team helped us do that.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, not really. Other companies might have done things differently, but I don’t think it could have been any more effective. encite nailed it.

We were referred to encite through a couple of different people. We knew we needed marketing help, and that’s how the conversation started. After considering other vendors, we decided to work with encite because of their ability to put together a brand and style guide.

encite started with a discovery session. We reviewed their work and gave feedback, and based off of this collaboration they then created a new logo and voice for us as well as a style guide for internal coaching. They also did copywriting and design.

We worked with 3 - 5 people in total, including project managers, developers, copywriters, and creative.

Adam and his team worked with me in a collaborative session to identify the brand attributes I wanted to communicate to my target audience. We also determined how to communicate that visually through my website. They continue to work on website design and development, SEO, and digital marketing.

I work directly with Adam as well as a graphic designer and content development manager. I know there are others on his team who help with the work. For example, he has someone who produces videos and another person who writes copy for websites.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are still doing website development, so we don’t have measurable outcomes yet. I found the brand strategy meetings to be extremely beneficial. It allowed me to focus on a growth path based on the company’s vision and mission. This has helped us avoid becoming just another general practitioner.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their work style is attentive but easygoing. They do excellent work and pay attention to detail. I found Adam to be a responsive and direct communicator.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was most impressed by how hardworking the team is.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I had hoped to shorten the time frame for completion, but they are quite busy so we couldn’t fast-track my project.
