No, they consistently missed the deadlines and I had to continually chase them to find out what was going on, as they went missing. 

I can appreciate that with projects, there sometimes needs to be some leeway, but it was becoming very frustrating when the communication lapsed and you had to continually follow up to find out what was going on.

Dreadful experience with Creative Brand Design. I have spent £27,000 and I can’t even see the website that has been built! Even when I could see the website, it did not work properly because no proper testing was put in place.

I have never written a review before, but the way I have been treated is not right, and I do not want anyone else to be in this situation. I am having to instruct lawyers to put this right and get my money back. All I wanted was a website to be built that works properly and it’s turned into a nightmare.

Throughout the project, we had deadlines in place which were all missed. I can appreciate that sometimes there needs to be some leeway with timings, but every single deadline was missed and I had to constantly chase them up to see what was going on as they went missing.

The customer service from Chris was appalling and he is never in the wrong, I had to constantly chase him up as he took ages to reply and when he did reply, it was conveniently at the end of the day on Fridays. A prime example was when I had not heard back for a long time, I called up the office and was told that Chris was not available / away for the whole day, I then called back up later as I suspected this was not true, and guess who answered the phone, Chris! I have never known anything like it.

Chris does not know what testing the whole website means either – They consistently missed major functioning details of the website and did not thoroughly test the whole website, they always did the bare minimum. Their explanation was that they have done the testing and that’s it, but never showed me any testing documentation which summed it up.

For the past 9 months, it's been constant excuses with nothing actually happening, to then be told that they cannot help anymore because they are too busy, it is ridiculous.

When you have spent the amount of money that I have, you expect a top level service, for the website to actually be completed, and to actually see the website!

I have spent £27,000 which is too much money to let this go and I wanted to make others aware, as it’s not been a pleasant experience with Chris and Creative Brand Design.

We respect every client’s right to share their perspective, but there are factual inaccuracies here that require clarification.

• Extensive Testing – From 3 June to 13 July 2022, we ran a six-week collaborative testing phase in BugHerd. During this time, 275 items were logged and addressed.
• Direct Client Participation – At least 38 issues were raised directly by the client, who was active throughout. The claim that no testing took place is incorrect.
• Scope and Delivery – The project was completed in line with the agreed scope. Timelines shifted only when inputs and approvals were delayed, and the site was handed over in 2022.
• Goodwill and Review Threats – In 2024, two years after handover, the client returned with a site hosted externally and altered without our involvement. By then, the project was long outside warranty and no maintenance plan was active. We still investigated and offered guidance as a goodwill gesture. When we declined further free work, the client threatened and later left a negative review.
• Communication – We are responsive through agreed channels, including email and a monitored ticketing system. Without a support plan, the client made repeated unscheduled calls. To describe this as poor communication is inaccurate.
• Functionality – We retain a full working copy of the handover version on our staging server, showing the site was delivered complete and functional.
• Legal References – While the review mentions lawyers, no legal proceedings have ever been initiated.

We stand by the work delivered and the documented testing completed. It is disappointing that, despite clear records, goodwill efforts, and the project being handed over more than two years earlier, the result was a negative review. Over 13 years we have delivered more than 500 websites, and this remains the only instance of such feedback.

We needed a fully e-commerce-based website as part of the next phase of our business. Our goal, is to gradually move more from showroom-based sales, to online sales which will enable us to compete with national companies. To achieve this, our new website needed to be clean, vibrant and present all of the relevant information clearly without being 'cluttered'. 

However, the most important thing was that our new website appealed to our core demographic, 45-55-year-olds, of which not all are familiar with the technology. So, above all else the website had to be easy to use/ navigate. We're a relatively small team, as such were looking for ways to reduce the time our salespeople would take conducting a sale. 

Before the launch of the new site, we would have to spend hours going through all of the relevant products, key considerations, what was needed before delivery, the different payment options. We wanted customers to have had the opportunity to absorb all of this information before calling us or visiting the showroom, freeing our guys up to work on their leads and ultimately close more sales. 

Plus, having all of the relevant information on the new site would make training up new salespeople much easier. As we have such an extensive product range, this has been quite time-consuming in the past. One of the main features that we needed was a finance calculator which could be adapted from product to product. This isn't easy to do, which is why it's not something that any of our current competitors have. 

We also wanted customers to be able to price up their own products, choose their finance package and then add it to the cart. As mentioned, we have a range of around 300+ products, with around 150 of them being complex, high-ticket items £3,000 - £55,000 each. 

With such an extensive range it was important to us that we could have an easy to use, user friendly filter system. We also requested that core information was displayed on the listing section, so that users could compare and contrast different products before clicking on them. Ultimately making the buying process easier.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Firstly, I would like to say that this has not been an easy project. However, Chris and the whole of the Creative Branding team have been especially attentive. Ensuring at every point that I was 100% happy before we moved forward. I requested to be involved in the development and wireframing process which I was from the beginning. 

I have consistently been surprised by how professional they are and how well they work together as a team. The measurable outcome is that I am extremely happy with our new website, within just a week of launching the new site we had two sales through the store amounting to £10,000. We are ranking for keywords which we never have before and again, the website has only been live for a few weeks. 

Every customer has commented on how great and easy to use the site is and our engineers have successfully used it to download manuals and key information. I can not recommend these guys enough, we have other projects in the pipeline of which I will most certainly be using Creative Branding. 

In my opinion, we have the best website out of any of our competitors. Thank you, guys, for being so amazing and getting any issues that we had resolved in record time. I genuinely couldn't be happier with their service.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The project management was brilliant, as mentioned I had requested to be involved in the wire-framing and envelopment process. During the design stages, I was able to provide feedback on the project through 'In vision' which I felt was seamless. Chris clearly has a fantastic team of people working with him who all communicate effectively. 

The project was delivered to me on time (admittedly I held things up as I loaded the site with all of the information we had, which took time.) If I am honest, I have changed my mind a few times with certain things and fair play to the team, they were more than happy to accommodate which I appreciate must have been very frustrating. But, not once have they complained or refused to do something for me. 

Customer service is clearly at the forefront of everything that they do. Following on from that, there have also been new features that I thought of as we moved along with the project, again the team was happy to accommodate. They're easy to deal with and professional throughout.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing about this company is their attention to detail, professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile. Of course, they create absolutely stunning websites which I really can't fault. We have had a website created by another company in the past, this was a completely different experience. This just goes to show, buy cheap, buy twice.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Creative Brand Design could have done differently?

None at all, really can't fault them.
